How much do I believe in the King’s Word?
How much do I trust in what I believe?
Am I living by His Word?
These are just some of the questions we should be asking ourselves. Your faith in the King’s Word should be your lifestyle. A Kingdom lifestyle is not built on religion and not on attending a service on Sunday. The King’s Word is your top priority and essential to a fruitful life in His Kingdom. That is what it is to seek the Kingdom. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33
The secret to building your faith in Him is consistently reading and studying the Lord God’s Word. Could you run a marathon on Friday if the last time you ate was Sunday? No! You would be very weak. The same is true with your faith! By reading and studying God’s Word, you make the Kingdom a top priority in your life. When you make the Word your focus and top priority there is no room for anxiety or fear. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9
In the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus, there is no place for fear or anxiety. In essence, your faith in Him—meaning His Word—is all that you need. Living an abundant Kingdom life while in this world is dependent on your faith in His Word.
You can be victorious and at peace, no matter what is going on around you.
When you are living by His Word, you are walking in the Spirit. You are being led by the Holy Spirit, our Governor in the Kingdom. Have you read what King Jesus stated while He was here on earth? It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63
Building your faith in His Word is a process. Remember, we live in a fallen world and this isn’t our home. Ambassador Paul reminds us that since we have been born again by His Spirit our citizenship is in heaven. For our citizenship is in heaven. . .Philippians 3:20a Keep this thought in mind, the enemy—meaning the devil—wants to destroy and weaken your faith in the King’s Word which is the Lord God’s Kingdom constitution. The devil wants you to doubt, lose hope and be filled with fear and anxiety.
I am led by our Governor, the Holy Spirit to make this statement: the devil doesn’t have to kill you in order to stop you. All he needs to do is to weaken your faith in the King’s Word. By doing that, he causes you to be ineffective in the Kingdom. Keep in mind, the deeper your trust and faith is in His Word, the stronger you are in His Kingdom. Your faith is a weapon against the kingdom of darkness. This is why I continue to speak on faith. It is vital! Without faith, we are defenseless against the attacks of the enemy.
Now, remember that you must act on what you believe. What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?
So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?
Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.
Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works. James 2:14-26 NLT
Remember, we live in a fallen world and for some of us it is a process to grow our faith, but be faithful, focused and consistent and your faith will get stronger every day. Trust Him and His Word that is eternal and unchanging!
Your faith is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.
