Living a Mature Kingdom Life

Picture
Maturity is not a matter of age, but instead, of how you choose to respond and react to various life situations.

The fruits of the Spirit are the fruits of maturity in God's Kingdom. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23a NLT So then, how do we cultivate this in our life?

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. Colossians 1:9-10 NLT

One key way to a mature Kingdom life is by submerging you mind in His Word. When the Lord God spoke to Hosea concerning His people, Israel, He made this statement:  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. Hosea 4:6 The New Living translation says “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me.” The ONLY way to truly KNOW the Father is through His Word. Your knowledge of God’s Constitution is vital to having a Kingdom mindset, free from religious thinking. People with a religious mindset have a tendency to honor religious traditions and holidays of the world. It is so deeply ingrained in them that they equate it with having a relationship with their Lord and King, Jesus. But He only mentioned one thing to do in remembrance of Him until He returned. When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes.”

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” Luke 22:14-20

You will not find anywhere else in the Lord God’s Constitution where He stated to honor other holidays, such as Easter and Christmas. These are deeply religious holidays, with worldly traditions and have nothing whatsoever to do with worshiping the King. I know that those words will offend some of you, but search the Constitution and you will discover the truth for yourself.

Also, churches that are truly operating with a Kingdom mindset and government don’t have a 501c3 document with the United States to operate under this country’s government to receive tax exemptions and give tax deductions. The Lord God will provide for His own citizens without the earthly government’s tax exempt status. I am a living example of that statement. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee He has given us His Holy Spirit. So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. 2 Corinthians 5:5-7

Our knowledge of His Word—Constitution—is vital for building our faith in the Kingdom of God.  It is only through His Word that we become stronger, not—for example—by being in a church, wearing a cross or celebrating Easter or Christmas. Make it your priority to study His Constitution every day and allow the Governor to lead your through this life. It is your faith in Him that causes you to be delivered, healed, and mature in the Kingdom. Remember the words of our King Jesus:  But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land.  When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”  Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”  Matthew 9:22-29

Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. Matthew 15:28

He also made this statement to those who doubted. So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

The other day, I was in a store, in line waiting to be served, when the woman beside me asked, “How are you?” Then she proceeded to tell me how she had just gotten over the Covid virus. I then said that I trusted my Father to always protect me. She went on to say “I asked God, but He didn’t deliver me for some reason”.

I am sure this lady thought she had faith, but did she also doubt? She may have prayed and asked the Lord to heal her and deliver her from this virus, but did she truly believe that He would? Now, that was not for me to ask her, but surely a question she should ask herself. Did her actions overpower her prayer and her faith? Did it negate all she asked for? Your actions show what you truly believe. And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:20-22

In times of crisis and need, are you truly able to say “My God will supply my every need.” or “He is healing me.” and then wait for His Will to be manifest? We live in a "have it now--hurry  up--microwave" society. We are often anxious and impatient. But our Father lives in eternity, not in time. His time is not our time, But we must trust that He is well able to accomplish all He says He will do. We are let by the Governor, ask in faith, do not doubt, and wait in peace until it comes to pass. That is maturity in the Kingdom of God!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Ephesians 3:20-21

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the Word of the living God.

Your Level of Faith in the King’s Word

2/3/2023

Picture
As Kingdom citizens, we should have a deep unshakable level of faith in the King. If you are a pastor, your level of faith in the Lord Jesus should be above all others. As a leader, those that you are teaching should be able to follow your leadership. They learn the most from what you do, not what you say. You should be able to see them grow in their faith in King Jesus. He is the only one who can connect you to the Father.  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

There are many people who were born and passed away from this earth who have never elevated their faith above believing just enough to attend church, but failed to grow any further in their faith to make a difference for the Kingdom. Your faith in the King will always make a difference in how you think, act, and in your decision making. Those who follow you should want to emulate you and show the kind of faith that you represent. In times of trouble and despair, your faith should shine like a beacon for the King. When there is chaos all around, your peace and faith in Him will strengthen their faith and those who are lost will want the Lord God that you serve!

Ambassador Paul had great faith in King Jesus. He believed who was—and is—a great leader to follow. Keep in mind, when he was called Saul and was a servant of the enemy, he did all he could to have the people of King Jesus put to death. He was instrumental in the persecution of the saints. Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Acts 9:1-2

Remember, it was the leadership of Saul (who became ambassador Paul) that caused many Believers to be stoned.  When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul. And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:54-60

The leadership of Paul—even thought it was for evil at the time while he was still called Saul—caused many people to follow him even to the point of murder. At the time, he truly believed he was doing right.

It is your faith that pleases the King.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 This is why I always say at the end of each article that your faith in the King’s Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom. Many of those who classify themselves as Christians don’t really understand what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. Enoch is a great example of faith in the King. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11:5 He had the testimony that he pleased the Lord God through his faith in Him. I would say that is a great feeling to have that testimony. What better thing could you say about someone but that they pleased the Lord? As leaders we should always have a high level of faith in our King. People, seeing men and women of great faith in times of trouble, are strengthened and their faith grows!

Having faith in our King is also having trust in Him. Do you recall what King David stated in the Lord God’s Constitution? Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit  your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:1-6

Kingdom citizens who are in good standing with the King trust in Him with their very life. They never fail to seek Him first before anything or anyone else when they are in need of help or deliverance. All citizens of the Kingdom government should be walking in the Spirit—meaning by faith in His Word. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:6-7   For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18  Our troubles are temporary, but can be great faith builders if we will endure in faith! Have faith in your King!

Also, keep in mind, if you are living by your flesh you cannot please the King. He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. Romans 8:4-9

Remember, your faith in the King’s Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

The Kingdom Message is Unique

1/20/2023

Picture
The other morning, for a brief moment, I was hit with the emotional thought that I was alone in seeing the Kingdom message. As I approached my wife in the kitchen, I shared with her that thought. (Keep in mind, when the enemy throws a stumbling block in your path, it will always be aimed at your emotions! But the Lord God will use it for your good, if you will allow Him.) Not long after, she came to me with these words:  The Kingdom of God is unique. From that point on the Governor—the Holy Spirit—began to deal with me. This is what He showed me:

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22

I realized at that very moment that the evil one was making an attempt to discourage me. I recall what my Lord and King stated to His Disciples.  And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city! Matthew 10:12-15 Notice He didn’t say stop and make an attempt to convince them of the Kingdom. Realize that there will be times on this earth that you will feel as if you are all alone with the Kingdom message, but you are not alone. The Holy Spirit, our Kingdom Governor, will guide you every step of the way. Let Him lead and guide you with His Kingdom message.

Remember what King Jesus said concerning the Governor. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. John 14:15-18 He stated that He will not leave us alone here on this earth as orphans! He also stated if you love Him and keep His commands His Father will make their home with us. He was speaking of the Governor—the Holy Spirit.

Keep in mind that the Kingdom of God and Heaven is eternal. Remember what King Jesus stated to Nicodemus. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:14-15 This is one of the reasons that the Kingdom message is unique. Jesus is also why the Kingdom message is unique. He gave His promise to us. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are One. John 10:28-30 Yes, His Father agrees with this because they are One.

Remember that the Lord God always keeps His Word and promises. Ambassador Paul made it clear when he said that the Lord God couldn’t lie. Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. . . Titus 1:1-2 This is in agreement with the Word from the Lord God that the prophet Balaam spoke to Balak. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.” Numbers 23:19-20

This is yet another reason why the Kingdom message is unique. He is not like mankind that He should have to lie. Whatever He speaks is Truth.

Last, but not least of all, the Kingdom message is unique because it is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven government, come to earth through our Lord and King, Jesus the Christ. It is a message that is hard for anyone of a religious background to see. But once you see it, you cannot unsee it and your mindset is forever changed, by the power and wisdom of our Governor, the Holy Spirit!

He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.

That is why I use these parables; For they look, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really listen or understand. This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says,
‘When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend. For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to Me and let Me heal them.’

“But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.” Matthew 13:11-17 NLT

Yes! Always remember that His message is unique and we, His citizens, are unique all the way down to our DNA and our fingerprints! But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.

“Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10 NLT

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the Word of the living God.

Know Your Kingdom’s Constitution and Obey It

12/8/2022

Picture
Ambassador Paul wrote these words while in prison, to ambassador Timothy:  Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

Remember these words when responding to the devil’s invitation to sin. The Son of the Lord God always responded with His Father’s Constitution. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.  Now when the tempter (devil) came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”

Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:  ‘He shall give His angels charge over you and, In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”

Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. Matthew 4:1-11

At no time did He ever give His opinion, thoughts or feelings. He is the Lord God’s Son, but He only spoke the words of His Father in response. He shows us how we are to respond to every temptation and challenge…with God’s Word from His Constitution! It is our responsibility to know the Lord God’s Constitution for ourselves, not just listen to religious leaders for an hour a week.

Keep in mind, the Son humbled Himself and obeyed His Father’s Will.  Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:5-8 He fulfilled His Father’s purpose and assignment for Him. This is why the Lord Jesus is the key to getting to His Father. King Jesus is the doorway, that leads to the Father God. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 Remember, God isn’t his “name”, it is who He is!

It was through Abraham’s faith in the Lord God’s promise that we, being the Gentiles, were able to be a part of God’s Kingdom.  We weren’t added because of the righteousness of the law, but the righteousness of faith. For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect. Romans 4:13-14

Knowing your Kingdom Constitution is absolutely necessary.  We should be learning His Word daily so we can then teach others. Fathers should be teaching their family His Word, not leaving it to church leaders. How can a young person stay pure? By obeying Your Word. I have tried hard to find You—don’t let me wander from Your commands. I have hidden Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:9-11 NLT

One writer wrote these words in God’s Constitution:  You are my portion, O Lord; I have said that I would keep Your Words. Psalm 119:57 King David wrote these words:  For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. Psalm 33:4

The reason there isn’t unity among Believers is that they don’t know who they are. They call themselves Christian, which is a religious group. This is why we should embrace His Word. To know who we are, we must first know whose we are (who we belong to).

King Jesus made this statement:  But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 We are citizens of a government—the government of Heaven—His Kingdom government; not a religious organization. Those who truly study His Constitution from a Kingdom understanding know this.

If you walk by the Spirit, that means you are walking and living by the King’s Words. King Jesus made it very clear. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63 This is why I constantly repeat in all of my articles to “read and study His Constitution” because it is your life! It is your key to God’s Kingdom. If you moved to a different country, how well would you do if you knew none of their laws and benefits? How long before you broke a law you knew nothing about? You could end up in a prison, wishing you had studied up on that country's constitution.

Lastly, we must know God’s Word and have it down in our spirit because it is through those Words that the Holy Spirit—our Governor—speaks and leads us. My wife and I are so thankful that whenever we need an answer or a word, the Holy Spirit starts bringing the Word of God’s Constitution to our remembrance. His Word is always the answer to every question, every situation! But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26

Keep in mind that your greatest asset in the Kingdom of God is your faith in His Word.  Without it we are rudderless and powerless!

King Jesus, the Lord God’s Son, had only one message: “The Kingdom of the Lord God is near”.  Keep in mind that Jesus’ earthly cousin, John, preached that message first, preparing the way.  In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:  “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ” Matthew 3:1-3 However, King Jesus always demonstrated how His Kingdom operated here on earth. He was a living example of a Kingdom life on earth. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 4:23-24

Keep this thought in mind; He only had one message. Everything else was demonstrations of how His Kingdom operated. Also remember that King Jesus always taught in the synagogue. Preaching is for getting one’s attention; teaching is for education and direction. There is a purpose and time for each. In the synagogue, he had their attention; they were there to be taught. Citizens of the Kingdom need guidance, wisdom and understanding. Ambassador Paul made this statement in God’s Constitution. Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.  And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:1-2 AMP

Mankind’s nature is to get bored quickly and want something new. But the Lord God wants His citizens to become more and more like Him. That will only happen by keeping our minds in “renewal mode” in terms of His Constitution. To become more and more reflective of our King, our minds must be filled with His Word. Without it, we will never be more like Him!  If you will allow Him, our Governor—the Holy Spirit—will guide and teach you everything you need to know. Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. . . But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:15-17, 26   However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13

When the Lord God gave me the assignment to teach by written word, He assigned my wife Arlene to assist me. He instructed us to stay focused on one message—the Kingdom of Heaven is here!  Since 2012, we have been obedient to His assignment for our lives and we are content with His purpose and assignment for our lives. We are a team, as when King Jesus sent out His disciples. He always sent them out as a team. When you understand the message He has given you and your assignment, you will also feel contentment working in it. Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13 NLT

The Kingdom message and its principles should be the only message that is taught; not prosperity or how to get wealth, or being a person of influence, or angels or happiness. The only message is wrapped up in seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Don’t be led by what man wants or even by their troubles (depression, anxiety, lack for example), but by the Holy Spirit—our Governor. The Holy Spirit will never lead your astray.  In order for you to embrace His Kingdom, you must value it! King Jesus spoke of its value in these parables:  Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,  who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46
How much to you value your life in God’s Kingdom?

May I reiterate, that the Kingdom government should be taught and preached by His born again citizens. Our Lord sent His disciples out to preach the same message with these instructions. These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.  But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. Matthew 10:5-15 He gave all of them the same instructions, nothing different. He did not give each one a different message to preach. It was all about His Kingdom government and how they should conduct themselves. He also stated this concerning His Kingdom:  “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind.  When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away. That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous, throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Do you understand all these things?” “Yes,” they said, “we do.”

Then He added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.” Matthew 13:47-52 NLT
Everyone has their assignment, even the angels. Our assignment is to preach the Gospel of His Kingdom and be a living example of life in God's Kingdom right now. There are no greater or lesser assignments, when it is given by our Father.

Remember, your greatest asset in His Kingdom is your faith in Him.

All That is Named Kingdom. . .

Long before I learned the Lord God’s purpose and assignment for my life, I saw many religious institutions with the name “Kingdom” over their entrances. At the time, I didn’t think much about it. For me it was the title of their church or ministry. Now, having been guided by the Governor—the Holy Spirit—I realize that many religious leaders do not have a clue what a kingdom is. They see it as a religion—a denomination. The word "kingdom" is tossed around too loosely in religious circles, which gives people a misrepresentation of God's Kingdom. But Kingdom citizens know that a kingdom is a government, ruled and governed by one leader—a king. A king is sovereign and the supreme ruler. In God’s Kingdom the Lord Jesus is the King.  And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:  King of kings and Lord of lords. Revelation19:16

Keep this thought in mind, our Lord’s Kingdom is not of this world. That makes us who are born again of His Spirit not of this world also. Read what King Jesus stated to Pilate:  Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”

Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?”

Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?”

Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My Kingdom is not from here.” John 18:33-36 Once you realize who you are in His Kingdom, you will never have to fight for yourself as many Christians have done. When you realize that your Kingdom is not of this world, then and only then you will embrace this scripture from God’s Constitution:   Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, “I will take revenge; I will pay them back,” says the Lord.

Instead, “If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.”

Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:19-21 NLT

Have you ever looked for a church in your area that teaches about God’s Kingdom government? Maybe you found a church with the word “kingdom” in their name. Maybe they use the word “kingdom” on their website or even when they talk. But when you go there, you see church as usual. That’s what I’m talking about. Not all that says “kingdom” is focused on His Kingdom government and living as a citizen of the government right here on this earth. They may teach on Kingdom principles, but from the religious doctrinal perspective.

To truly understand about the God’s Kingdom as a government, I encourage you to read the first four books of the New Testament, especially Matthew 13. When you read all that the Lord Jesus said, know that it is our King speaking to His citizens. He tells us what His Kingdom looks like, how it operates and what we can expect and do in that Kingdom while here on this earth!

Those of you who have an “ear to hear”, allow yourself to also understand. The Kingdom of Heaven is where our Lord God resides. His throne is in Heaven.  The Lord is in His holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. Psalm 11:4

The Lord looks down from Heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God. Psalm 14:2

I will be perfectly clear, only those who are filled with His Spirit are citizens of His Kingdom. That is what He meant when He told Nicodemus that “you must be born again”. Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.” John 3:5-6

Attending a church, paying tithes and attending what many call Bible study every week does not make you a citizen of His Kingdom. It makes you religious and a good member of your church. And that is fine, if that is all you want. To be a member of a church group is one thing, but to be a citizen of the Kingdom of the Lord God is being filled with the Holy Spirit. It is living in the Kingdom while here in this world, with all the rights, benefits and responsibilities of that citizenship!  Once you get a taste of it you will never be satisfied going back to church as usual.

I must add one more misuse of the word kingdom before I close:  Using it to ‘grow’ your business. I recently saw a prayer request (not given specifically to us) that wanted people to pray that God would send people with money, who want to grow a kingdom mindset, to their business! Study the life and teachings of King Jesus through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and find a scripture where Jesus told them how to gain wealth through the Kingdom. Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ” Matthew 21:12-13 Matthew 6 tells not to be enslaved to money and how in the Kingdom all your needs are met if we first seek His Kingdom and His righteousness. The Kingdom of God is not about building wealth. Money is never to be our focus. Don’t take my word for it. Seek out God’s truth in His Constitution.  But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

Remember, your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

How to Have a Victorious Life

9/16/2022

Picture
Victorious:  having achieved a victory; conquering; triumphant; overcoming

The key to living a victorious Kingdom life is based upon the strength of your faith in Jesus the Christ and His Father God. The Lord Jesus is King of all kings and Lord of all lords.  And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Matthew 28:18 Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because He is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. Revelation 17:14a NLT

Keep this in mind; your total faith in the King is the key to your healing. There was a case when the King was approached by a man concerning his son. The man had asked the King’s disciples to heal him, but they couldn’t. This is what King Jesus told His disciples:   And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.  So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” Matthew 17:14-17 King Jesus rebuked them for their lack of faith. When the question was asked by them, this was King Jesus’ reply:  And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:18-20 Also note that the Lord Jesus referred to the son’s condition as a demon. Jesus saw it and called it for what it was.

King Jesus made it very plain, “Seek FIRST His Kingdom”.  But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

The problem that we have is that we seek first man’s solution, rather than believing the Lord God’s Word.

Are you aware that one of the Lord Jesus’ disciples was a physician? His name was Luke. Yet we never read where they took any of the sick, blind or lame first to him. In fact those who were delivered by our Lord and King were said to “have the Kingdom of the Lord God come upon them”.

When speaking of demons, Jesus said, But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.  If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand? And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the Kingdom of God has come upon you.” Matthew 12:25-28 Healing is an attribute of the Kingdom of God. But when faith isn’t strong, the first thought in times of sickness, pain or injury is doctors and medicine. King Jesus is our last resort, not our first.

 “Seek FIRST. . . “

If you want to evaluate the strength of your faith in the Lord God’s Word, see how you respond to trouble, crisis, sickness or loss. Personally, in those times I strengthen my faith with His Word in His Constitution. His Word strengthens my faith every time because I believe what He says. I know that the Lord God’s Constitution is Holy Spirit inspired and led. I know it is the Word of God and the answer to all my problems. I don’t know everything or have all the answers, but my Lord God, the Father, does! This is why I have submitted my life to consistently reading and studying it. I have submitted my life to my King and His Governor--the Holy Spirit.

I recall what the ambassador Paul stated to the citizens of the Kingdom in Rome:  And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:1-2 NLT

When you submit your will (mind and emotions) to the Governor—His Holy Spirit—you can never be misled. For those who live by faith as a lifestyle, healing is a normal part of life in a Kingdom citizen’s life.

Our faith leads us to a victorious life, not because of what we do or who we are, but because of WHOSE we are and knowing all things are possible because of our Lord and King.  Afterward the disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why couldn’t we cast out that demon?”

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. Matthew 17:19-20 NLT

But, if you fail to trust the King, you cannot please Him. But without faith it is impossible to please Him,  for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:4-5 AMP

Your faith in the King is your greatest assert in His Kingdom.

The Great Deception Part 2

8/26/2022

Picture
Deception is everything opposite the truth. Anything contrary to God's Word is a lie and Satan is the father of all lies.

Satan uses religion and mankind's desire to be in relationship with the Lord God as a tool to divide as well as to cause mankind to think that by being religious they become closer to God. Notice that I stated “God”, not His Son. Religion keeps people from seeing and comprehending the Kingdom. There are many religious leaders who may be aware of the Kingdom message but are afraid to proclaim it because it will interfere with their financial flow. For them to do so, they would have to admit they were wrong in their teaching.

One clear sign that a religious leader/pastor/minister either doesn’t understand the Gospel of the Kingdom as King Jesus taught or is misrepresenting His Kingdom, is if they focus on building “Kingdom Wealth”. King Jesus never taught the multitudes or His disciples how to build Kingdom wealth! God’s Constitution is your measurement for Truth. “Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart [soul desires] will be also. . . No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord]. Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing?” Matthew 6:19-21, 24-25 AMP

You don’t have to attend a religious institution in order to reach the Father God. Do you recall what the Lord Jesus stated to the religious leader named Nicodemus?  No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:13-17

First, in our minds, we must separate the Lord God and King Jesus from our religious mindset. Religion does not equal God. Religion is an emotional tool that the evil one uses to control the masses. Look at the religion of Catholicism. They have much hierarchy that their members must follow to be in good standing; but King Jesus made this statement: “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:15-17

Remember, the devil is a spirit—a fallen angel—and those that give themselves to him, through disobedience of the Lord God’s Constitution, will be misled every time. Religion gives one a false sense of eternal security. It can feel like a “get out of jail free” card. Rules are created by the hierarchy; some in line with God’s Constitution, some have nothing to do with it. Now follow these rules “religiously” and you’ll go to heaven. You won’t need to read and study His Word or listen to the Holy Spirit, just follow your leaders.

In order to operate in this world as a Kingdom citizen, you must put ALL your faith and trust in Him. You must listen to the guidance of the Governor—the Holy Spirit.  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Faith is a lifestyle, not a religious mindset. Many who claim to live by faith, really depend on the world’s assistance for their survival:  doctors, government benefits, and even their earthly family and friends. By the way, I am speaking of those who claim to believe in the Lord Jesus the Christ, not those who are lost in the world. It is the believer who is being so greatly deceived. Too often, they are lulled into a fugue of complacency, by attending weekly services, giving tithes and offerings, believing they are pleasing the Lord God. But remember that it is faith that pleases Him.   But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

Do not become stagnant when it comes to your faith in the King! If you are sick, don’t let your first thought be of doctors and medicine. Pray! Ask the One who created you for healing. If you are in financial need, ask the One who is your Source, not friends or family or for yet another loan. King Jesus’ command to us is to “Have faith in God!” This is a constant, not a momentary, command. So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”  Mark 11:22-24  Those are some strong words from the Lord Jesus, but can you believe them? They are not being spoken by your religion, but by your Lord and He cannot lie!

Build your faith. If you consistently study God’s Constitution, your faith in the King will grow every day. No one in the world needs religion to reach the Lord God. They need to embrace His Son, Jesus the Christ. The Lord Jesus, who is the King, made it quite clear in this statement when speaking to His disciple, Thomas:  Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:5-6
Even though He was speaking to Thomas, it applies to the whole world as we know it.

Remember, your faith in the King’s Word is your most valuable asset in His Kingdom.

Under the King’s Protection--My Testimony

7/15/2022

Picture
As I sit, preparing to write this article, my thoughts went as far back in time as I could remember. What a journey! I recall what my mother told me about when I was conceived. She said that the doctor told her she would never have any children. At that time, she and her husband were trying to conceive for eight years with no results.

She prayed to the Father and promised Him that if He gave her a child, she would give the child back to Him. Not long after that prayer, she conceived and I was born! I now realize that even though I went through many trials and hardships as a child and young adult, I was under the Lord’s protection because of the promise my mother made to the Lord and King.

I grew up in the streets of New York City, where drugs and gangsters owned the city and divided it up as part of their territory. My mother stated many times that the Lord God had His hands on me and that I belonged to Him. Even though I really didn’t know the King; I was protected by His mercy and love. But there was one scripture that always stayed with me while I was disobedient to His Word. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:33-34

At that time, I had a religious mindset. I didn’t know anything about the Kingdom government. Through all of my sin and disobedience, the Father and King kept and protected me. I experienced the love of the King in my disobedience. So many times I was kept safe from gangs and the mob. He protected me and kept me from going down a path I could never return from and would never be able to fulfill His purpose for my life.

Keep in mind, that word of the King was always in my heart. It was the King’s Constitution that stayed in my heart.

As I look back over my life, I can see clearly the hand of my heavenly Father guiding me and protecting me for this purpose. I make it my business to always keep His Word before me, and the Holy Spirit brings a scripture to mind whenever I need an answer or direction. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8 NLT. . .  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 I believe this passage in God’s Constitution with all my heart.

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3 Learn to put all your faith in His Word and not in the government of your country. In this world crisis, He will bless you, keep you, and guide you through the Holy Spirit, our Governor in the Kingdom. He will protect you from all harm as He is doing for me and my family. I am a living example.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

Remember, your faith in His Word is your most valuable asset in the Kingdom of the Lord God.

All NKJV, except where noted.

He is Lord

We hear that statement often in religious circles, but what does it actually mean to a Kingdom citizen?

It is a statement of fact. He is the landlord of this earth and the universe. He owns everything. We as human beings actually “own” nothing. Do you recall what the Lord God stated here in His Constitution? For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine.  Psalm 50:10-11

This morning when the King gave me strength to rise from my sleep, I started thanking Him for blessing me to be able to bless others with a financial blessing and a word of encouragement. I am very careful how I use His finances. I always want to be a good steward of what He gives me. He blessed me to retire from the job He gave me. He always meets my needs, but it is all His. We, as Kingdom citizens must realize that we are just caretakers of all the Lord God has entrusted us with. It all belongs to the King. He makes a profound statement here:  “If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness.” Psalm 50:12

Please understand that without an understanding of God’s Kingdom, religious people claim to own what they have. But people with a Kingdom mindset realize that what they have all belongs to our King! Kingdom citizens have a different mindset when it comes to giving. They are led by the Governor—the Holy Spirit—on how, where and what to give.

This may surprise some, but the Lord God tells us that all people belong to Him. “Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins shall die. Ezekiel 18:4 Now, I grant you, the Lord God was speaking to His representative concerning His people Israel, but His principles never change. Read on to what He stated to Ezekiel concerning His standards:  But if a man is just and does what is lawful and right; If he has not eaten on the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, nor defiled his neighbor’s wife, nor approached a woman during her impurity; If he has not oppressed anyone, but has restored to the debtor his pledge; has robbed no one by violence, but has given his bread to the hungry and covered the naked with clothing.

If he has not exacted usury nor taken any increase, but has withdrawn his hand from iniquity and executed true judgment between man and man; if he has walked in My statutes and kept My judgments faithfully—he is just; he shall surely live!” Says the Lord God. Ezekiel 18:5-9

Regardless of what any religious leader or ruler on this earth says, the King’s standard never changes. He is a never-changing King in a world that is constantly changing. Keep this in mind:  Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:7-8 Always remember:  “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

Those of you who realize who you are in His Kingdom, He is Lord over you! He is our Landlord, over all. Our Lord and King doesn’t require you to attend a religious service to worship or praise Him Your body is the temple He requires. Ambassador Paul reminds us of that here:  Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 …Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Romans 6:18-20

We have been raised to see the word lord from a religious perspective, at least here in America. We have no clear point of reference of a lord being a landlord. But a Kingdom mindset sees that God is our Lord and King over all. Understanding that will help build your faith that He gives you access to all that you need in your life. As King Jesus said:  No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food and your body more than clothing?

Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to Him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, He will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

So don’t worry about these things, saying, “What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?” These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” Matthew 6:25-33 NLT

Remember, your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom. He is your Lord!

What Pleases the King

To become a citizen of God's Kingdom, you must have faith in His Son. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18

And, without faith in the King, there is no way possible to please the King.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

To say you love King Jesus is to love the Word. You cannot love one and not the other. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. . . And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ” John 1:1-3,14-15

Do you recall the woman with a flow of blood and how she pressed her way through the crowd just to touch the King? It was through her faith in Him that she was ever delivered from her condition. Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any,  came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.

And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”

When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”

But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.”

Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.

And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:43-48 By the way, I can personally relate to that woman. Everyone that was delivered or healed had faith in the King’s promises. He will always see you through. I can say that I am a living example of that statement. King David’s statement in God’s constitution confirms it. As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Psalm 18:30

To build and strengthen your faith in the King, stay in His Word. His Word will see you through every situation. Stop trying to figure things out and simply trust Him, His Way and His Word.

Your faith and trust in Him is your key to all your victories and blessings as a citizen of the Kingdom. It is imperative that we as Kingdom citizens keep reading and studying His constitution for it is the life strength of our faith in Him. The more you read, the stronger your desire for God's Word will become.

Before the Lord Jesus was sent to this earth His Father gave His ambassador Hosea this message to deliver to Israel, His people. Hear the word of the Lord, you children of Israel, for the Lord brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land:

“There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land. By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed.

Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; even the fish of the sea will be taken away. . .

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, also will forget your children. Hosea 4:1-3, 6.

Keep in mind that the Word of the Lord God is the foundation of every person’s faith in the King. It is His Word that causes your faith in Him to grow. If you study His constitution and live by it, you are the one who pleases the King. King Jesus made this statement concerning those who love Him and His Father.  He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21

Learning the Word is vital. Read what the Lord Jesus told Martha when she was concerned her sister, Mary wasn’t helping her. Now while they were on their way, Jesus entered a village [called Bethany], and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching. But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.”

But the Lord replied to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10: 38-42 AMP Mary was listening and learning while sitting at His feet. Many religious leaders have said that she was worshipping at His feet. But the Lord God’s constitution states that “Mary sat at Jesus feet and heard His Word”. (NKJV) Mary was listening and learning from the King. She was loving the Word.

Psalm 119 is a tribute to God’s Word! Clearly, David loved God’s Word. Here is a passage:

Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day.

You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep Your precepts.

I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your Word. I have not departed from Your judgments, for You Yourself have taught me.

How sweet are Your Words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep Your righteous judgments. Psalm 119:97-106

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in His Word.

Unashamed Before the King

6/10/2022

Have you ever felt ashamed or embarrassed to go to our Lord and King? There were times in my life that I felt that way. What would cause a citizen of the Kingdom to feel ashamed and embarrassed? We might first think of sin, but it is actually a lack of total faith in our King and an understanding of who He is! In my daily life, I strive for total faith in my Lord and King. My request to the King is to help my unbelief! This is also what the father of the demon possessed boy said to the Lord Jesus.

When they returned to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd surrounding them, and some teachers of religious law were arguing with them. When the crowd saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with awe, and they ran to greet Him.

“What is all this arguing about?” Jesus asked.

One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, “Teacher, I brought my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that won’t let him talk. And whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil spirit, but they couldn’t do it.”

Jesus said to them, “You faithless people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy to Me.”

So they brought the boy. But when the evil spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth.

“How long has this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy’s father.

He replied, “Since he was a little boy. The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.”

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”

The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”

When Jesus saw that the crowd of onlookers was growing, He rebuked the evil spirit. “Listen, you spirit that makes this boy unable to hear and speak,” He said. “I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!”

Then the spirit screamed and threw the boy into another violent convulsion and left him. The boy appeared to be dead. A murmur ran through the crowd as people said, “He’s dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and helped him to his feet, and he stood up.

Afterward, when Jesus was alone in the house with His disciples, they asked Him, “Why couldn’t we cast out that evil spirit?”

Jesus replied, “This kind can be cast out only by prayer.” Mark 9:14-29 NLT

Note that the father of the child had enough faith to come to the King. The father realized that his faith in the King was lacking. Many believers have the same problem. They have enough faith to believe in Jesus and attend church but not enough faith to be healed from their diseases or troubles. They turn to doctors or pills before they turn to our Lord and King. My goal is to totally trust and believe the Lord God for all of my needs and anxieties. Every day I am improving in my goal.

The father of the demon possessed son realized what he was lacking and cried out, “Lord, help my unbelief”. Then and only then did the King rebuke and cast out the unclean spirit.

“I command you to come out of this child and never enter him again!” Mark 9:23-25 NLT

There is a contrary spirit that wants to keep citizens of the Kingdom from totally trusting and having faith in the King. It wants you to doubt. I face this every day, but I remind myself of what the Lord God’s Constitution says: You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3-4

There are believers who have been saved for many years but haven’t grown any further in their faith in Him than the first day that they accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. They have more faith in the created than the Creator! That is a shame and an embarrassment before the King, Every day we are to strive to be more like Him. All of the healings and deliverances in God’s Constitution that the Lord Jesus performed are meant to strengthen our faith in our King.

If you want to know what pleases the King, it is your faith in Him. Do you recall the men who let down the crippled man through the roof? Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him.  And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.

When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” Luke 5:17-20

Remember, it was the faith of the men who lowered the cripple down through the roof that the Lord God recognized, not the cripple. They believed that King Jesus could deliver the healing that the crippled man needed. Again it was their faith that the King recognized and nothing else. Now, do you recall the woman with the flow of blood who came for her healing? Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.

And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”

When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”

But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.

And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:43-48
Everyone was touching Him, but it was the woman who put all of her faith in Him, that was delivered and immediately healed of her affliction. King Jesus felt her faith and power going out of His body! She acted upon her faith. It is not enough to say you believe in the Lord God. We must put action with our faith. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:19-20

Remember, act on what you believe; and grow and mature in your faith in the King.  Have total, unshakable faith in your Lord and King and put action to your faith. Come to Him first, not last after you’ve tried everything man has to offer. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11

Have faith in God! So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:22-24

Remember, your faith in the Lord Jesus is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.

Under the King’s Protection

5/27/2022

Picture
When you are a citizen of the Kingdom of the Lord God, you are forever in His divine protection. Your faith in the Lord God’s Word is crucial to His protection. Have faith and believe that He is a rewarder to those who believe and trust in Him!  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

As a citizen, always stay focused on His Word. His Word is the foundation on which our faith is built. It is your faith that pleases the King, not your sacrifice or doing good works while here on this earth. Your faith in His Word will drive you to search and seek out all you can about the will of the King for your life. Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21

When you are led by the Holy Spirit—our Kingdom Governor—you are forever protected. Some will embrace this but others are blinded to it. If you are being guided by our Governor, you can never be misled or misguided. I can speak of this because I am an example of this and have experienced it! I am a living example, you can reference to. I wasn’t always like this but when I allowed the Word to lead and guide me, my life changed. Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Romans 8:12-14 NLT  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25

When Abraham obeyed the Lord God’s word, His protection came with that obedience. Abraham believed the Lord God. By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Hebrews 11:8-10 It was because of Abraham’s faith and obedience that the Gentile has become part of the family and are citizens of the King.

The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.  I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:1-3 NLT

When you stay in the Lord God’s Constitution and fill yourself up with His Word, you can say just as King David said, “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.” Psalm 37:25

If you are worried about the food shortages we are having in this world’s government systems and you are a Kingdom citizen, my question to you is, “Why are you concerned or worried?”. Why concern yourself with the troubles of this present world? Where is your faith in your Lord and King? What kingdom fills your mind? Make up your mind where your faith is and what you really believe. “So fear the Lord and serve Him wholeheartedly. Put away forever the idols your ancestors worshiped when they lived beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord alone. But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15 NLT

Stand on the King’s promises! Psalm 91 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they hall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. (vs 7-12)

When you feel doubt and fear, get into His Word and remind yourself of who He is and all of His commands to His citizens. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:25-33

And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly Kingdom. 2 Timothy 4:18

In Your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection. For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength and He makes my way perfect. Psalm 18:29-32 NLT

Remember, your faith in the Lord God’s Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom. It is your greatest defense against the things of this world!

Does His Word Live in You?

4/15/2022

Picture
His Word in us is His presence residing in our mortal bodies. Understand this one thing: the Lord Jesus is the Word that came in the flesh.  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 It is one thing to read God’s Constitution, it is another thing to have that Word living in you as a lifestyle. To have His Word living in you, in essence, you are being guided and directed by the Holy Spirit—our Governor in the Kingdom. He uses the Word to guide us.  Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.

These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.” John 14:23-26

Keep in mind that the Governor and His Word are one. King Jesus, while here on earth, prayed this prayer to His Father:   “I do not pray for these alone (His disciples), but also for those who will believe in Me through their words; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” John 17:20-21

When you have the Word alive in you, our Kingdom Governor--the Holy Spirit—comes to guide you into all truth. Then you become one with the Father and the Son, as spoken of in King Jesus’ prayer to the Father. “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.” John 17:9-11

It is by being obedient and submitted to His Word residing in you that will keep you in the perfect will of the King. Remember, the Lord God and King knows our hearts. He knows the way each individual thinks.

In this present world, which is full of so much negative and bad information, it is very important that we flood our minds with God’s Constitution. His Word is our protection from the evil one and his deceptions. The Lord God’s Word is tried, tested and proven. King David put it this way:

As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. Psalm 18:30-32

For the Word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. Psalm 34:4

Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:11

When you hear other Believers say that they love the Lord, yet fail to obey Him or live by His Constitution, they are deceived. They are liars and the truth is not in them. People who love the King always keep His Word and immediately repent if  they sin. King Jesus made this statement.  Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His Word.’” John 8:54-55

Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I rebuke and discipline [showing them their faults and instructing them]; so be enthusiastic and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will]. Revelation 3:19 AMP

Here, ambassador James is writing these strong words to the church, not to the world! What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you? You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that the spirit He has placed within us should be faithful to Him. And He gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. Let there be tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up in honor. James 4:1-10 NLT

I have seen many who read and study the Lord God’s Constitution in Bible studies or school assignments yet keep living their sinful ways. They may have a head knowledge of His Word, but they haven’t ‘consumed’ or embraced His Word to have a heart knowledge of it! Ambassador James stated these words in God’s Constitution:  Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. James 1:21-24

Keep this thought always: The Lord God’s Word is His law. A king’s word is law. King David made it his priority to obey and live according to His law. I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart. Psalm 40:8

Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. . . So shall I keep Your law continually, forever and ever. . . This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your Word has given me life. The proud have me in great derision, yet I do not turn aside from Your law. . . I remember Your name in the night, O Lord, and I keep Your law. Psalm 119:34, 44, 50-51, 55

When you have the law of the Lord God residing in your mortal body, you take pleasure in keeping it. Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day. . . My life is continually in my hand; Yet I do not forget Your law. . . I am small and despised, yet I do not forget Your precepts. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth. Trouble and anguish have overtaken me, yet Your commandments are my delights. The righteousness of Your testimonies is everlasting; Give me understanding, and I shall live. Psalm 119:97, 109, 141-144

Remember, your faith in the King and His Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

The King Stands Sovereign

Picture
What king am I speaking of? King Jesus, who has been given all authority by His Father, the Lord God. Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Matthew 28:18 AMP

Keep in mind, while King Jesus was doing His Kingdom government assignment, He needed no assistance from mankind. Listen to what the King said in response to John the Baptist when he inquired if He was the King or not: Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” Matthew 11:1-6

He didn’t need any help in raising the dead or healing the sick or opening the eyes of the blind. He is God and King all by Himself. He answers to no man or created thing, only to His Father God. Remember what the Lord God stated to Isaiah in His constitution.  Thus says God the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread forth the earth and that which comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk on it:

“I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles, to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images.” Isaiah 42:5-8

When the Lord God was refining His people—Israel—read what He said:  “For My name’s sake I will defer My anger, and for My praise I will restrain it from you, so that I do not cut you off. Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; for how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another. Isaiah 48:9-11

In this day and age, with all of the modern technology, I find many Believers share the credit for their healing and good fortune with doctors; or that they have money and possessions because of their abilities, rather than giving glory to the Lord God. Too easily they forget that they don’t own anything but that it all belongs to the King. “O My people, listen as I speak. Here are My charges against you, O Israel:
I am God, your God! I have no complaint about your sacrifices or the burnt offerings you constantly offer. But I do not need the bulls from your barns or the goats from your pens. For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are Mine.” Psalm 50:7-11 NLT He was speaking to His people, Israel, but He is the same God and King with the same principles, the same character. He didn’t change after sending His Son to earth. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Sovereign:
  1) Above or superior to all others; chief; greatest; supreme 2) Supreme in power, rank or authority 3) Holding the position of ruler; royalty; reigning 4) Independent of all others 5) Excellent; outstanding. Yes, King Jesus is all of those things! He is also the King of all kings and Lord of all lords. On His robe at His thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords. Revelations 19:16 NLT

How strong is your faith? Why do we run to mankind when we are in a crisis—whether it is health, finances or emotional—rather than King Jesus. Why do we think the creation can help us more than the creator? Remember what King Jesus said:  “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask Him.” Matthew 7:7-11 NLT

Let me remind you, there is a place in the Kingdom where you can have all your needs met, but it is operated by the strength of your total faith in the King. Do you recall what King Jesus stated to those who were healed and delivered from their illness and affliction?  When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.” Matthew 9:27-30

Here, a woman who wasn’t a Jew demonstrated her faith in King Jesus:  Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”

But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.”

But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”

But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. Matthew 15:21-28

The question I ask is how deep is your faith in the King and not your religion or the people and things of this world. Why is the Lord God the world’s last resort when all man has to offer fails them? How often have we heard, “Well, all we can do is pray.” Why would you need to do anything else? Our heavenly Father should always be our first resort, not our last resort! I say “All we need to do is pray!” Take it to King Jesus and leave it with Him.

Yes, remember that your greatest asset is your faith in King Jesus.

The Most Important Person on Earth Part 2

11/12/2021

Picture
While King Jesus was down here on this earth, He taught those whom He had chosen to be His disciples. What did He teach them? It wasn’t religion or politics. It was His Kingdom principles and how to live here on earth as a Kingdom citizen. He also told His disciples that if they loved Him He would ask His Father to send them another comforter after He left this earth. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.  And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:15-17 Note that King Jesus stated He will be with you forever; and He called the Holy Spirit the Spirit of Truth. Keep in mind that this world cannot receive Him because it doesn’t know Him. Ambassador Paul made it very clear when he told the Corinthian believers “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

In John 14:17 the word world is not necessarily referring to the people, but to the world system or mindset. It is a system based on the kingdom of darkness that influences the behavior of the people on this earth. Keep in mind, it is the Governor who convicts those outside of the Kingdom that they need to be forgiven and connected to the Lord God in the heavenly Kingdom government. It is the Governor—meaning the Holy Spirit for those who are reading this term for the first time—who works through your conscience so that you will choose to live according to His Kingdom standards.

It is vital that we stay in the Lord God’s constitution so that we will know the King’s perfect will for our lives. Our whole body and mind should be made subject to the will of the Lord God. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2

You must understand this one thing:  Our Governor is not given to us to take over our lives by force. He prompts us and gives us wisdom, but never forces us to do what we don’t want to do. In other words, our Governor makes all Kingdom citizens conscious of the expectations, standards, laws, regulations and customs of the Kingdom. That is one reason that the Lord Jesus made this statement to His disciples:  “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today." Matthew 6:33-34 NLT

Remember, Father God isn’t in the business of controlling His citizens. He wants His citizens to desire what He desires. Our Governor respects our will. He shows you what the Father’s Will is and assists you in fulfilling it as you look to Him for wisdom. Without the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are not wise enough, strong enough, or holy enough, to be a citizen in right-standing in God’s Kingdom. It is only through His Spirit, sent to govern our lives as we submit to Him.

The following verses tell us why the Holy Spirit is the “Most important person on earth”:

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness,  because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.

I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:7-15

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5

Always remember, your greatest asset in the Kingdom is your faith in His Word.

Your Faith in His Word is the Key Part 2

9/18/2021

Picture
Remember, your faith in the King and His Word is essential to your physical and spiritual life. God’s Word is life! Jesus spoke this to His disciples:  It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

Kingdom citizens have radical faith in their King because our life depends on Him. Jesus is the Word, made flesh. So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:14 NLT Do you recall what the Lord Jesus said to the sinful woman with the alabaster box, who washed His feet with her tears? Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.” Luke 7:50

Here is another example of radical faith. There was a Roman centurion who believed in King Jesus. Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.”

Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Luke 7:1-8 This is what He turned and told the crowd:  When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick. Luke 7:9-10

Faith must have an object. We don’t just “have faith”, we have faith in ______. So, fill in the blank. What do you actually have faith in? Do you believe more in science, doctors, government, the world system, your religion or what you have been taught by your parents and friends? Sometimes we say one thing, but our actions reveal the object of our faith!

Do you know the phrase “garbage in, garbage out”? This is why it is vital to guard what you watch, listen to and read because it will hinder your faith in His Word. The news and social media won’t build your faith; most of the time it is “selling” fear. That is why it is imperative to read and study His Word every day. God’s Word cleanses our mind and our soul . . . .just as Christ loved the church. He gave up His life for her  to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s Word. Ephesians 5:25b-26 NLT  God’s constitution will strengthen your faith in His Word. If you don’t know His Word, how can you truly have faith in it? I study His Word daily. He protects me, guides me, strengthens me and heals me.

Your eternal life hinges on your faith in King Jesus.

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.” John 3:16-21 NLT

As always, remember that your faith in the King and His Word is your greatest asset.

Your Faith in His Word is the Key

9/2/2021

Picture
First, take a minute to make an honest evaluation of your level of faith. Ask yourself these questions:

How much do I believe in the King’s Word?

How much do I trust in what I believe?

Am I living by His Word?

These are just some of the questions we should be asking ourselves. Your faith in the King’s Word should be your lifestyle. A Kingdom lifestyle is not built on religion and not on attending a service on Sunday. The King’s Word is your top priority and essential to a fruitful life in His Kingdom. That is what it is to seek the Kingdom. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33

The secret to building your faith in Him is consistently reading and studying the Lord God’s Word. Could you run a marathon on Friday if the last time you ate was Sunday? No! You would be very weak. The same is true with your faith! By reading and studying God’s Word, you make the Kingdom a top priority in your life. When you make the Word your focus and top priority there is no room for anxiety or fear. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9

In the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus, there is no place for fear or anxiety. In essence, your faith in Him—meaning His Word—is all that you need. Living an abundant Kingdom life while in this world is dependent on your faith in His Word.

You can be victorious and at peace, no matter what is going on around you.

When you are living by His Word, you are walking in the Spirit. You are being led by the Holy Spirit, our Governor in the Kingdom. Have you read what King Jesus stated while He was here on earth? It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63

Building your faith in His Word is a process. Remember, we live in a fallen world and this isn’t our home. Ambassador Paul reminds us that since we have been born again by His Spirit our citizenship is in heaven. For our citizenship is in heaven. . .Philippians 3:20a Keep this thought in mind, the enemy—meaning the devil—wants to destroy and weaken your faith in the King’s Word which is the Lord God’s Kingdom constitution. The devil wants you to doubt, lose hope and be filled with fear and anxiety.

I am led by our Governor, the Holy Spirit to make this statement: the devil doesn’t have to kill you in order to stop you. All he needs to do is to weaken your faith in the King’s Word. By doing that, he causes you to be ineffective in the Kingdom. Keep in mind, the deeper your trust and faith is in His Word, the stronger you are in His Kingdom. Your faith is a weapon against the kingdom of darkness. This is why I continue to speak on faith. It is vital! Without faith, we are defenseless against the attacks of the enemy.

Now, remember that you must act on what you believe. What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.  How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?

Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete. And so it happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called the friend of God. So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.

Rahab the prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away by a different road. Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works. James 2:14-26 NLT

Remember, we live in a fallen world and for some of us it is a process to grow our faith, but be faithful, focused and consistent and your faith will get stronger every day. Trust Him and His Word that is eternal and unchanging!

Your faith is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.

Having Radical Faith in His Word

8/21/2021

Picture
What do I mean by the word “radical”? Today, when people hear that word, they equate it with “extremists” and even terrorists. But to me radical faith is an extreme unwavering faith that the Lord God does what He says in His Word. The proper definition relates to the root of something: relating to, or proceeding from a root; designed to remove the root of a disease or all diseased and potentially diseased tissue as in having “radical surgery”. So then, radical faith is getting to the root of God’s Word and all He has for us and that brings a radical change in our lives! Radical faith also is like the ‘radical surgery’ mentioned above, that gets to the root of our sin and removes it. That is what it takes in the Kingdom. This is a process to reach that point. We live in a fallen world and it is full of disobedience to the Lord God’s Word. In other words, it is full of sin—because all disobedience is sin. Those who live sinful lives are disobeying God. Sin is disobedience. 1 John 3:4 GWT

Your faith is all you need to live a victorious life while you are here on this earth. So we may just as well become radical in our faith in the Lord Jesus. Understand this, when a physician examines, he totally believes in what he is doing. He is sold out to science. We as citizens of the Kingdom should be sold out to the infallibility of the Lord God’s Word—meaning His promises to His people. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. 2 Corinthians 1:20 NLT

Yes! The Lord God’s promises were fulfilled in Christ! It is time His citizens of the Kingdom move up higher in our faith and become what He has designed us to be! When we were born again with His Holy Spirit, we not only became citizens of the Kingdom, but also children of the most high God. Read ambassador Paul’s words: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8:14-16 Keep this in the forefront of your mind, that just as the physicians are dedicated to science and their profession, we as Kingdom citizens should be dedicated to our Lord and King. . . dedicated to His Word. We are children of the most high King, heirs and co-heirs with our Lord Jesus.  If children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:17

We should always be encouraged. We will be forever with our King! That is one of the reasons we should be radical with His Word in our lives! Believe His Word to the fullest regardless what the enemy throws at us. Nothing will shake us, nothing will move us away from this life in His Kingdom! Remember we are fighting a spiritual battle. Remember what ambassador Paul stated to the saints at Corinth.  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Keep in mind, that because we live in a fallen world, it is a process to reach the level of faith in His Word that is needed; some longer than others. Some have greater spiritual battles than others. The important thing is to be ever moving forward, always growing in faith. Know that along the way, your faith will be tested and tried. It will make you stronger. Radical faith is strong and never moved by circumstances. It is bold! Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?" Jeremiah 32:27

Remember your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

Kingdom Citizens Be Encouraged

Having confidence that we are citizens of the Lord God's government is a great encouragement, regardless of any situation. His Word stands strong in our lives! Keep in mind what King Jesus stated to His disciples, which still applies to us today. “If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14:15-17 NLT Those words are very important because King Jesus will always keep His promise. That is a great reason to have a smile on your face and be encouraged!

Remember, the Lord God is in no way like mankind. Do you recall what the Lord God said to His representative, Balaam? You see, Balak wanted Balaam to curse the Lord God's people, Israel--the children of promise. Read what Balaam stated to Balak, the prince of Moab:  Then the Lord met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, “Go back to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”

So he came to him, and there he was, standing by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab were with him. And Balak said to him, “What has the Lord spoken?” Then he took up his oracle and said:  “Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, son of Zippor! “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:16-19

Ambassador Paul confirmed these very words concerning the Lord God's credibility. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began. Titus 1:2 NLT Keep in mind that the Lord God always keeps His Word! The promises of the King are always intact. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20 That alone is a great encouragement to stand firm on His Word.

We, as Kingdom citizens, should always be encouraged and not allow the enemy to keep doubt in our minds. You'll notice I stated "keep doubt in our minds". The enemy will bring doubt, but we have the power to keep it out of our minds. We have the power to guard our minds through the Holy Spirit. With every thought that comes, we choose whether to reject or embrace that thought. King Jesus promised us the Governor--the Holy Spirit--and He fulfilled that promise. The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”  Acts 1:1-5
Keep in mind, when the Governor came to those who were in the upper room, He came with clarity and power.  When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4

There were several occasions while King Jesus was here on earth that He promised to send us the Holy Spirit--our Governor--if we were obedient to His Word. On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 7:37-39 And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Acts 5:32

Essentially, there is no reason in the Kingdom to be discouraged because the Holy Spirit in you is greater than any discouragement! Do not allow your heart or emotions to govern your life. Study the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to govern your life and decisions.  My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 3:18-20, 4:4

Remember, your faith in the King's Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.
