Kingdom Giving Led by the Governor

One of the most important things you can learn in God’s Kingdom is to be led by the Holy Spirit, our Governor. I enjoy being led to give by the Governor. When you are being led by the Governor you cannot go wrong or astray!

Currently, we live in a small city called Easley here in the United States. I am so thankful that the Holy Spirit, our Governor, clearly led us here. But I have spent most of my life in New York City, where there wasn’t any shortage of people with great wealth. I definitely wasn’t one of them, but I certainly saw them all around the city! But the whole time I was under my Father’s protection and provision because of my mother's prayers.

When you allow the Governor to lead you, He truly will lead you to all truth. But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. John 15:26 You will never be deceived if you listen when our Governor, the Holy Spirit, speaks. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. John 16:13-14

Be led by the Holy Spirit, our Governor, not by how you may feel or what you may see. Emotions are temporary and very deceptive. Trust His leading. There was a time when I was led to pay for a couple’s groceries. It was just as I was about to walk out of the store. I had seen them in the store while I was shopping, and the Governor led me to go back and pay for their groceries. Now, my emotions could have tried to remind me of all the ways I could use that money and talk me out of what I was being told. It could have talked me out of being obedient. But I was honored that the Lord chose me to be a blessing to them. It didn’t matter how much it was, my King informed me to do it. He never fails to bless me to be able to give, even when doubt creeps in! When He leads us to give, we don’t count our dollars, we just say yes! On the flip side of that, do not allow yourself to be coerced into giving out of guilt or emotional "arm twisting". If the Holy Spirit isn't leading you to give, then give only if you have the desire to do so.

In God’s Kingdom giving is a way of life. Remember, we own nothing. Everything that we have in our possession belongs to the King. We are stewards of all we possess, not owners. We, as citizens of His Kingdom, should share with those of like minds who are in need. We know that we own nothing but are always willing to obey the Governor as He leads us. Read what Dr. Luke recorded in God’s Constitution:  All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.  The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need. Acts 4:32-35 NLT

Being led by the Holy Spirit—our Governor—is absolutely vital, especially these days. Without His leading, we will surely be deceived. There are many deceivers out there who claim to be holy when they are not. If you don’t know God’s Word and the voice of the Holy Spirit you will be deceived and led away from the Father. Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:23-24

Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example. For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like His own, using the same power with which He will bring everything under His control. Philippians 3:17-21 NLT

This is why it is so important to be led by the Governor and not how you feel. Keep this thought in mind:  the Lord Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit, our Governor. Yes sometimes we are led by the Holy Spirit, our Governor, into a season of uncomfortable testing!  Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4:1 Then He was ready to begin teaching about God’s Kingdom! From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

Remember what King Jesus said to His disciples:  “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:15-17

Submit yourself to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Be governed by the Governor and you will never be misled. When people are blessed, it is because someone was led by the Holy Spirit. Make it your goal to never miss an opportunity to be led by His Spirit. When He speaks, don’t count the cost, but trust Him and say Yes! He knows you and your needs better than you do.  You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”

Yes! Arlene and I are living testimonies to this! Truly He has always provided for all that we need. His Word is truth. His principles never fail.

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, He will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 2 Corinthians 9:7-10 NLT

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the King’s Word.

Eternal and Unchanging

King Jesus promised His children and citizens eternal life. That is His promise to all those who accept Him and live according to His Constitution. …So that whoever believes will, in Him, have eternal life [after physical death, and will actually live forever]. For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.  John 3:15-16 AMP

When you live among your close family and relatives, you may find it difficult to embrace the Kingdom because of their unbelief. They may even be religious or casual Christians and still hinder you from growing in wisdom and knowledge about God’s Kingdom. Do you recall what King Jesus stated concerning family and friends? He was speaking to His disciples and those of us who have faith in Him and His Word. So Jesus said to them, “Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Matthew 19:28-30

While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”

But He answered and said to the one who told Him, “Who is My mother and who are My brothers?” And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:46-50

Eternity is a long, long time...it is forever! Remember, the Lord God’s Word is enduring and will last forever. It is eternal and unchanging! When you obey the Word of Truth you purify your soul through living by His Word. Yes His Word cleanses us.  Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. 1 Peter 1:22-23

Ambassador Peter goes on to state that what you see around you is temporary, even the accomplishments of mankind; but the Lord God’s Word will live on through eternity. As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the Lord remains forever. And that word is the Gospel that was preached to you.” 1 Peter 1:24-25 NLT The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

Keep this in mind, that while we live in time, our King and God lives in eternity and is not limited to time as we know it. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:8-9

It is vital that we stay in the Lord God’s Constitution, because it is the source of our strength and our very being on this fallen world. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

I encourage you to be bold, strong and courageous in His Word because His Word is all we have. When we are confident in His Word, we will be bold! His Word is Spirit and life. His Word is eternal and unchanging. It is the Constitution of the Lord God’s Heavenly Kingdom and our key to wisdom and understanding. Do not turn away from her (Wisdom) and she will guard and protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation]. Prize wisdom [and exalt her], and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. Proverbs 4:6-8 AMP

Remember, King Jesus had many disciples who followed Him, but He only chose twelve. Many could not handle His Words. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”

But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” John 6:63-69

Do not follow the masses to large religious institutions or follow what is "popular" at the moment. A crowd doesn’t mean they are filled with the Holy Spirit or His Wisdom and knowledge.  A crowd is drawn by what feeds their emotions and feels good. Being with a crowd makes some feel accepted and feel better about themselves. But remember what King Jesus said:  “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

In conclusion, I leave you with the Words of our King.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Mark 13:31

Remember, your greatest asset in the Kingdom is your faith in His eternal and unchanging Word.

Victoriously Shining His Light in a Dark World

You shine!

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”
John 6:63-65

When you walk by the Spirit, live by His Word and stand firmly in faith in His Kingdom, you shine with the light of His Kingdom. You take the Kingdom of God everywhere you go! Your life represents His Kingdom. Open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. Acts 26:18

Our presence as Kingdom citizens in this dark and fallen world will make an impact on those around us. The Holy Spirit—our Governor—and Kingdom principles and standards shine without us even saying a word. Remember, King Jesus didn’t pray for the world, but for those who were His:   “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.” John 17:9-10 He also prayed for those future believers of faith in Him:  “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:20-23

Kingdom citizens who live and operate in this fallen world must keep in mind that we are God’s Kingdom light shining as a beacon to those who are seeking His Kingdom. Read these words of King Jesus:   “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” Matthew 5:14-15 Now note the next verse:  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

We, the citizens of His Kingdom are to walk in the Spirit so those who are around us will have a standard by which to live. This is why it is so important to be filled with the Governor—the Holy Spirit. He governs us, guiding us throughout our day.  Leading us to people, where we may not know what to say or do, but He does, if we will listen! He knows their need and we are His light shining on them.

When someone is filled with the Holy Spirit, they will not be so easily deceived by false teachers and preachers. They will not be deceived by someone just because what they are saying sounds “good” and they present themselves as a representative of God. King Jesus considered the people as sheep.  And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. Mark 6:34

My focus as a Kingdom citizen, living in a dark and fallen world, is to always be a living example to others so they will know what life in God’s Kingdom is like. They will see that they can live in this world but not allow the darkness to enter their lives and home. His Light shines wherever His citizens go! I make it my business to constantly be praying throughout my day. It is a lifestyle for me, not something I do when there is a problem. We need that open communication with the Father every day! Even now, as I write this article, it is 3:54 AM and I am steadily in my purpose doing my assignment for my King. I know I am not alone. My Lord and King has others who are obedient to His Will, not seeking after fame and fortune but only seeking His Kingdom and to do His Will. I am honored that He chose me and my wife.

We are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. It is our responsibility to conduct ourselves as living examples of life in God’s Kingdom. This is accomplished because of the Holy Spirit—our Governor—residing with us and inside of us. That is how we are a light shining in this dark, fallen world. For God is pleased when, conscious of His will, you patiently endure unjust treatment. Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you. For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in His steps. 1 Peter 2:19-21 NLT

Keep in mind also, that light convicts those in this world without us saying a word. It is the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. It convicts and draws them to the Father.  Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. John 16:7-11

Light reveals what is hidden.  “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own but will tell you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring Me glory by telling you whatever He receives from Me. All that belongs to the Father is Mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever He receives from Me.’” John 16:13-16 NLT

Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me.  And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness."
John 12:44-46

Always remember, your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

No Room for Truth

4/21/2023

Picture
What do you fill your mind and spirit with on a daily basis? Remember that your points of entry are your eyes and ears. Who "has your ear"? Who influences you and can talk you into doing things you wouldn't normally do?

If you aren’t certain, pay attention to the thoughts that run through your mind and also the things you say, especially when stressed, tired or angry. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45

When you are living by the Lord God’s principles, you are living by His Constitution. His Word is His Truth, and an attribute of the Holy Spirit, our Governor. Ambassador Paul, speaking to the Kingdom citizens in Ephesus, made this statement:  For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.  Ephesians 5:8-10

When you walk in the Spirit, you are walking in His Word.  It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63 Remember that the Lord God’s Constitution is relevant in every part of your life. It is eternal Truth. It is unchanging. Yes, God’s Word is truth and will last forever. As King Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Mark 13:31 Even back in the time of Isaiah, His representative, the Lord God gave him these words of encouragement:  “Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” says your God.

“Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned; for she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.”

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:  “Prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert; A highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth.
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

The voice said, “Cry out!” and he said, “What shall I cry?”

All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:1-8

Keep in mind that the King’s Word is truth and it will never fail.

How easily influenced are you? Can ‘friends’ talk you into doing things the Holy Spirit, our Kingdom Governor, is telling you NOT to do?

As a Kingdom citizen, be careful with whom you associate in this present world. Yes, we are to represent Jesus and His Kingdom in the world, but we must not be influenced or changed by this world. Be aware of what worldviews you may be embracing that are contrary to the Lord God’s Word. If they don’t have a Kingdom mindset and you have confidence in them, they can block you from receiving the truth concerning the Kingdom, especially if they have a religious mindset. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23 There are many religious leaders who do not have a Kingdom mindset and are not led by the Holy Spirit, our Governor. It is how they earn their living and may be most concerned with the paycheck. If so, they are a hireling. There are many who are of this world and are led by greed and all things of the flesh. They are full of this world and its corrupted mindset with no room left for the Kingdom message and the Lord God’s infallible Truth. While King Jesus was here on this earth, He made this statement to the religious leaders of His day, concerning His people. “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you. I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father. They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.”

Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this… Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My Word.  You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s Words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 8:37-40, 43-47

When your life and mind are full of this world’s activities, there is very little room for the Kingdom Gospel, which is the Truth found in God’s Constitution. There are many people who are led by their own spirit and the “devil’s desires”. Keep in mind that the evil one will do everything in his power to keep you from knowing and accepting the Truth of God’s Word and His Kingdom because he knows that his time isn’t long here on this earth.

Remember the Lord God’s Word is always relevant to a citizen of His Kingdom. We as Kingdom citizens live by the Constitution of the Kingdom. It is our daily guide to living in this world without being OF this world! King David made these statements:  As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him…For the Word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth…By the Word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. Psalm 18:30, 33:4, 6

When you are filled with His Truth, you become bold in your faith in the King. The Word of the Lord God causes you to become courageous and have no fear. King David made this statement for all to learn:  Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His Word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:3-4

Now picture a direct cable linking you to your tablet, phone, computer or television and everything you see and hear is being directly downloaded into your brain and your soul, leaving no room for God’s Word.  It is time to clear your mind, your will and your emotions and make room for God’s Truth. Unplug, disconnect and reevaluate good and bad associations in your life. Pray for the Governor’s guidance in the process. Make room today.

How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your Word.
I have tried hard to find You—don’t let me wander from Your commands.
I have hidden Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
I praise You, O Lord; teach me Your decrees.
I have recited aloud all the regulations You have given us.
I have rejoiced in Your laws as much as in riches.
I will study Your commandments and reflect on Your ways.
I will delight in Your decrees and not forget Your Word. Psalm 119:9-16 NLT

Keep in mind, once again, your faith in the King’s Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom!

Living a Mature Kingdom Life

Maturity is not a matter of age, but instead, of how you choose to respond and react to various life situations.

The fruits of the Spirit are the fruits of maturity in God's Kingdom. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23a NLT So then, how do we cultivate this in our life?

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. Colossians 1:9-10 NLT

One key way to a mature Kingdom life is by submerging you mind in His Word. When the Lord God spoke to Hosea concerning His people, Israel, He made this statement:  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. Hosea 4:6 The New Living translation says “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me.” The ONLY way to truly KNOW the Father is through His Word. Your knowledge of God’s Constitution is vital to having a Kingdom mindset, free from religious thinking. People with a religious mindset have a tendency to honor religious traditions and holidays of the world. It is so deeply ingrained in them that they equate it with having a relationship with their Lord and King, Jesus. But He only mentioned one thing to do in remembrance of Him until He returned. When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”

Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes.”

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.” Luke 22:14-20

You will not find anywhere else in the Lord God’s Constitution where He stated to honor other holidays, such as Easter and Christmas. These are deeply religious holidays, with worldly traditions and have nothing whatsoever to do with worshiping the King. I know that those words will offend some of you, but search the Constitution and you will discover the truth for yourself.

Also, churches that are truly operating with a Kingdom mindset and government don’t have a 501c3 document with the United States to operate under this country’s government to receive tax exemptions and give tax deductions. The Lord God will provide for His own citizens without the earthly government’s tax exempt status. I am a living example of that statement. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee He has given us His Holy Spirit. So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. 2 Corinthians 5:5-7

Our knowledge of His Word—Constitution—is vital for building our faith in the Kingdom of God.  It is only through His Word that we become stronger, not—for example—by being in a church, wearing a cross or celebrating Easter or Christmas. Make it your priority to study His Constitution every day and allow the Governor to lead your through this life. It is your faith in Him that causes you to be delivered, healed, and mature in the Kingdom. Remember the words of our King Jesus:  But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, “Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all that land.  When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us!”

And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”  Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”  Matthew 9:22-29

Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. Matthew 15:28

He also made this statement to those who doubted. So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20

The other day, I was in a store, in line waiting to be served, when the woman beside me asked, “How are you?” Then she proceeded to tell me how she had just gotten over the Covid virus. I then said that I trusted my Father to always protect me. She went on to say “I asked God, but He didn’t deliver me for some reason”.

I am sure this lady thought she had faith, but did she also doubt? She may have prayed and asked the Lord to heal her and deliver her from this virus, but did she truly believe that He would? Now, that was not for me to ask her, but surely a question she should ask herself. Did her actions overpower her prayer and her faith? Did it negate all she asked for? Your actions show what you truly believe. And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, “How did the fig tree wither away so soon?”

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Matthew 21:20-22

In times of crisis and need, are you truly able to say “My God will supply my every need.” or “He is healing me.” and then wait for His Will to be manifest? We live in a "have it now--hurry  up--microwave" society. We are often anxious and impatient. But our Father lives in eternity, not in time. His time is not our time, But we must trust that He is well able to accomplish all He says He will do. We are let by the Governor, ask in faith, do not doubt, and wait in peace until it comes to pass. That is maturity in the Kingdom of God!

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Ephesians 3:20-21

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the Word of the living God.

The Most Vital Person on Earth  Part 2

Picture
Keep in mind; while here on Earth, Jesus could only be in one place at a time due to His mortal body. King Jesus limited Himself to time and space while He was here on Earth. King Jesus, who owned the universe, limited Himself to a small region on this planet, doing ministry and teaching about the Kingdom for just three and a half years.  A physical body comes with limitations. This is one reason the Holy Spirit—our Governor—is essential to citizens of the Kingdom of God. Remember what King Jesus promised His disciples and those of us who believe Him by faith:  If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.  John 14:15-17

The Governor is a much needed person in our lives. This is why, before King Jesus returned to His Father, He made this statement to His disciples:  And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4-5

Our Governor—the Holy Spirit—is the most vital person on this planet. It is because of Him that we are able to live in God’s Kingdom here in this world. Every Kingdom citizen must have the Governor indwelling inside of them. That is our passport into His Kingdom. Read what ambassador Paul stated to the Thessalonians.  For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

Yes, the same Spirit that raised King Jesus from the dead lives in you! He dwells in you as your Governor, your Helper, your Advocate, your Teacher and your Guide. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:8-11

Also, it is through the Holy Spirit that we are no longer slaves to sin and the world, but children of God, joint heirs with Jesus. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:14-17  King Jesus made this statement, referring to the Holy Spirit. leading up to His transfiguration:  Jesus went on to say, “I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power!” Mark 9:1

While King Jesus was here on earth, He fulfilled His purpose and assignment. Now, having stated that, the Kingdom of the Lord God is within you when the Holy Spirit—our Kingdom Governor—is living within you. When the Governor is taking up residence within you, the Kingdom of Heaven is present on earth. But we must listen and be led by His Spirit. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 16:13-15

According to Dr. Luke’s account in Acts, about one hundred and twenty disciples were present when the Holy Spirit was poured out and fully reinstated on this earth. Please note, King Jesus’ purpose was to reintroduce the King’s heavenly government that had been recalled from earth by mankind’s disobedience and rebellion against the Lord God’s command.

After our Lord and King, Jesus, completed His mission here on earth, He provided a way for the inhabitants to be in right standing again. Then He returned to His heavenly Kingdom. So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.  Mark 16:19

After He went back to His Father, then He asked His Father to send the Governor to earth to assist those who believe in Him as Lord and King.  And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. John 14:16-17a NLT

Yes, the Holy Spirit—our Governor—is the most vital person on this earth. It is only through Him that we are able to live a Kingdom life. When we allow Him to govern and guide us from within, there is no need for doctrinal bylaws and regulations to control us from the outside.

Everywhere we go, the Kingdom is there!

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the King’s Word.

The Most Vital Person on Earth

We cannot live a Kingdom life without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is our Governor.

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. John 14:23

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us. 1 John 3:24

To fully understand the nature of the Kingdom of the Lord God, we must first understand the reason for the King’s Son coming to this earth. First, He loved the people of this earth so much that He voluntarily limited Himself in significant ways in order to restore them to the Kingdom. Do you recall what King Jesus said concerning His Father?  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

Love is the nature of the Father and His Son. Keep in mind that the Lord Jesus is the perfect representation of the Lord God in human form. So the Word became human and made His home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:14 NLT

God’s Son came to show us what the Lord God is like and to take away our fear of Him; enabling us to call Him, not only our King, but also our Father because we have been born again and His Spirit lives within us. Do you recall what the Lord Jesus stated to Nicodemus?  Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” John 3:5-8

Please note, the Holy Spirit—our Governor—could only come upon people in the Old Testament times to do the work of the Kingdom in certain instances. It was when the Son came to earth, as the man Jesus, that the Governor could now live here on earth within His body; yet the Governor—Holy Spirit—still could not dwell in all humanity. Why? Because the Father’s plan was not yet completed through His Son. The Father’s plan was for the Holy Spirit to be released to mankind, who would receive Him through the provision of the King’s Son Jesus. If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14:15-17 NLT

The Lord Jesus’ teachings were filled with great truths. Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever]. Matthew 5:3 AMP

He taught that in order to live eternally, one had to die to oneself. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:24-25 NLT

In order to be strong in Kingdom power, one had to be weak in oneself. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.  2 Corinthians 12:9-10

The Lord Jesus emptied Himself so that we could be filled. He became poor so that we could become rich. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

He also became like mankind by placing Himself under the restrictions of time and space so that we could be connected to His eternal Kingdom. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

He subjected Himself to the law so He could free those under it. Finally, the Lord Jesus submitted to physical death so that we could have eternal life. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11

This is the Father’s love, demonstrated through His Son. His powerful love for all mankind here on this earth. He sent His Son to restore His Kingdom here and to give mankind entrance into the Kingdom through His Son, Jesus. When Jesus’ assignment here was finished, He then sent the Holy Spirit—our Kingdom Governor—to remind us of all Jesus had taught and all that the Lord God says. We cannot live a Kingdom life without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who is our Governor.

Knowing Who You Are in His Kingdom

2/24/2023

Picture
Once you realize who you really are, you will conduct yourself with a different mindset. Ambassador Paul is an example to follow. Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example… But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. Philippians 3:17, 20 NLT

There are many who wear the religious title of Christian, but fail to study the Lord God’s Constitution. In His Constitution, the Lord Jesus promised to send us the Holy Spirit—our Kingdom Governor—if we keep His Word. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you… Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:15-17, 23

The problem is that many who call themselves Christian fail to study and obey the King’s Constitution (Bible). They are believers in name only, not in actions. Because of this, they fall prey to false messages and doctrines. How can they be citizens of God’s Kingdom if they don’t know God’s Constitution? They don’t know who they really are.

If you really want to know who you truly are through the Lord God’s eyes, read and study His Constitution. Learn what life in the Kingdom of God looks like. Learn what your rights and responsibilities are. Learn what He says about you! For example, as Jesus tells us:  “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in My name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it!” John 14:12-14 NLT

When you don’t know who you are, you are vulnerable to the evil one’s tricks and deceptions. What better way for Satan to deceive believers than through false religious doctrine! He uses religion, money, power and sex to deceive those who claim to know the Lord Jesus. When you claim to know the King but don’t know His Word, you will fall for whatever sounds and feels good. Ambassador Paul addresses this very thing:  For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their stomach, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.  Philippians 3:18-19

Keep this in mind, a citizen of God’s Kingdom is filled with the Governor—the Holy Spirit—and knows his priority according to God’s Word. Note that the ambassador Paul stated that “their god was their stomach”. I notice on social media many who are always posting the foods they eat and what they are cooking. But stomach represents hungers and appetites. What do you hunger and thirst after? Your focus reveals what you have an appetite for.  “Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied. Matthew 5:6 AMP

Understanding who you are in His Kingdom causes you to see and think in a different way when it comes to His Constitution. Remember, the Holy Spirit—our Governor—is the key to understanding the Lord God’s Constitution. Without Him, you are operating in this world on your own strength and knowledge. Again, I say, remember what our King Jesus stated when He was here on this earth. If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:15-17

Knowing who you are in God’s Kingdom causes you to become bold in His Word. You stand taller and speak more confidently. You have faith and do not doubt when you speak God’s Word and principles wherever you go! The apostles, now having the Holy Spirit residing inside of them, spoke boldly to a hostile crowd of religious people. Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brethren. Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. Acts 14:1-3

Keep this in mind, the hostility came from their own people, yet they spoke boldly because they were of a Kingdom mindset and were being led by the Holy Spirit. They knew who they were.

Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
2 Timothy 4:2-4 NLT

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the Word of the King.

What Is Kingdom Living?

2/17/2023

Picture
We often speak of Kingdom living, but some may wonder exactly what that means. Simply put, Kingdom living is living according to the Lord God’s Constitution. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit and you are obeying the leading of our Governor—the Holy Spirit—you cannot go wrong. The rights and benefits spoken of in His Constitution are available to you! Kingdom living is walking by faith. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:6-7 Ambassador Paul said that we are at home in our bodies; meaning while we are living in this body until He calls us to be with Him.  Notice that he never stated that heaven is our home. When ambassador Paul states “we walk by faith and not by sight” he is saying that we trust the Lord God with our very lives. That is Kingdom living!

Kingdom living isn’t following a bunch of religious rituals, laws and traditions, but power in the Governor—the Holy Spirit. It is walking in the King’s protection while we are on this earth.  It is only through the Holy Spirit that we can truly walk by faith and give the Lord God the glory in every part of our life—finances, health and healing. He wants all the glory for everything in our lives. This is why we should go to the King for all our needs. Your faith in the Lord God should always be first and foremost when you need assistance in this world. If we truly believe that God’s Word is truth and that God is not a man so He cannot lie, how can we ever doubt Him? If you get ill and feel under attack by the enemy you should always go to the Father and King in the name of King Jesus. He fulfills His Word for His glory.  Do you recall what the Lord God stated to Isaiah? I am the Lord, that is My name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images. Isaiah 42:8 For everything comes from Him and exists by His power and is intended for His glory. All glory to Him forever! Amen. Romans 11:36 NLT

Keep this in mind, if you put King Jesus first, the Lord God will put you first. Do not put mankind before the Lord God. I will rescue you for My sake—yes, for My own sake! I will not let My reputation be tarnished, and I will not share My glory with idols! Isaiah 48:11 NLT

This is Kingdom living; totally trusting and putting your faith in the Lord God in Jesus’ name. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Romans 8:34  “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14 Do you believe the Lord God’s Word is true? Have faith in His Word!

When you are a Kingdom citizen in good standing with the King, the Governor—Holy Spirit—will guide you throughout your life, as He has mine. A religious mind doesn’t understand Kingdom teaching because they have been taught by others who have a religious mindset. Kingdom living is all about focusing on one person, our King. While He was on this earth, He made this statement:  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

The Holy Spirit will guide you and use you in all you do, as you submit to His Will. Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 14:10 It is our Governor—the Holy Spirit—who does the work.

Kingdom living is living in His benefits and promises told in His Constitution.  As we know, the Lord God is not a man and He cannot lie. If He promised it in His Constitution, it will come to pass in His perfect timing. Have faith and do not doubt! David reminds us of His benefits.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious; slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. Psalm 103:2-10

Praise the Lord, everything He has created, everything in all His Kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord! Psalm 103:22 NLT

Kingdom living is living by His Word and His Spirit.  His Word will speak to your need, your prayer. Find your scriptures and stand in faith on that Word.

Kingdom living has no lack. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. Matthew 6:33 NLT  I have been young and now I am old, yet I have not seen the righteous (those in right standing with God) abandoned or his descendants begging for bread. Psalm 37:25 AMP

Remember, it is your faith in the Lord God’s Word that is your greatest asset in the Kingdom and the key to Kingdom living.

Your Level of Faith in the King’s Word

Picture
As Kingdom citizens, we should have a deep unshakable level of faith in the King. If you are a pastor, your level of faith in the Lord Jesus should be above all others. As a leader, those that you are teaching should be able to follow your leadership. They learn the most from what you do, not what you say. You should be able to see them grow in their faith in King Jesus. He is the only one who can connect you to the Father.  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

There are many people who were born and passed away from this earth who have never elevated their faith above believing just enough to attend church, but failed to grow any further in their faith to make a difference for the Kingdom. Your faith in the King will always make a difference in how you think, act, and in your decision making. Those who follow you should want to emulate you and show the kind of faith that you represent. In times of trouble and despair, your faith should shine like a beacon for the King. When there is chaos all around, your peace and faith in Him will strengthen their faith and those who are lost will want the Lord God that you serve!

Ambassador Paul had great faith in King Jesus. He believed who was—and is—a great leader to follow. Keep in mind, when he was called Saul and was a servant of the enemy, he did all he could to have the people of King Jesus put to death. He was instrumental in the persecution of the saints. Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. Acts 9:1-2

Remember, it was the leadership of Saul (who became ambassador Paul) that caused many Believers to be stoned.  When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul. And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:54-60

The leadership of Paul—even thought it was for evil at the time while he was still called Saul—caused many people to follow him even to the point of murder. At the time, he truly believed he was doing right.

It is your faith that pleases the King.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 This is why I always say at the end of each article that your faith in the King’s Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom. Many of those who classify themselves as Christians don’t really understand what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. Enoch is a great example of faith in the King. By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. Hebrews 11:5 He had the testimony that he pleased the Lord God through his faith in Him. I would say that is a great feeling to have that testimony. What better thing could you say about someone but that they pleased the Lord? As leaders we should always have a high level of faith in our King. People, seeing men and women of great faith in times of trouble, are strengthened and their faith grows!

Having faith in our King is also having trust in Him. Do you recall what King David stated in the Lord God’s Constitution? Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit  your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Psalm 37:1-6

Kingdom citizens who are in good standing with the King trust in Him with their very life. They never fail to seek Him first before anything or anyone else when they are in need of help or deliverance. All citizens of the Kingdom government should be walking in the Spirit—meaning by faith in His Word. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:6-7   For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18  Our troubles are temporary, but can be great faith builders if we will endure in faith! Have faith in your King!

Also, keep in mind, if you are living by your flesh you cannot please the King. He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. Romans 8:4-9

Remember, your faith in the King’s Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

Teaching the Kingdom Message

First, I want to take a moment and thank my Lord and King for showing me my purpose and giving me this assignment to teach His Kingdom Gospel. This morning, He woke me up at about 4:15 AM with this message. I really appreciate my Father for allowing me to live this long to preach and teach His message, free from religious traditions. It is an honor to be able to carry this Kingdom message over the internet around the world!

In order to be “qualified” to preach and teach the Kingdom message, you first must be filled with His Spirit. Yes, I mean our Governor, the Holy Spirit. He will guide you into all truth. King Jesus said, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” John 16:13

Note that He stated “He will guide you into all truth”. Keep in mind, the Governor—meaning he Holy Spirit—doesn’t have His own agenda, but only that of the Father. When you see men or women glorifying themselves, that is a clear sign they aren’t speaking the Lord God’s message. Again, King Jesus made that very clear to His disciples:  He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.  John 16:14

I consider myself as ambassador Paul declared of himself as being a slave of my King and Lord. As one songwriter wrote, “You’ve got to serve somebody. It may be the devil or it may be the Lord.” I am glad to report that I serve King Jesus every day of my natural life, regardless of the circumstance. People can tell who you serve by your actions, more than your words! My wife Arlene and I are faithful to our assignment. We don’t add to the Kingdom message or take away from it. If we ever stray, we pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal that to us and make a correction of our direction.

King Jesus always stayed in line with His Father’s Will. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and My judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent Me. John 5:30 AMP Now if the King made this statement concerning Himself, what does that say for us? He stayed true to His assignment from Heaven. “Father, if it is Your Will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My Will, but Yours, be done.”  Luke 22:42

When an employee transcribes a letter for the employer, it is entered exactly as the employer said. Nothing more and nothing less. The employee doesn’t add their opinions or what they feel needs to be said. In order for one to teach the Lord God’s Kingdom message, they must thoroughly understand the Kingdom concept. The Lord God is the Author and Finisher of His Kingdom concept. When the Lord God gives you an assignment, remember the He is the Author and stay on that assignment until He gives you something else.

Read the words King Jesus spoke to Pilate:   Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My Kingdom is not from here.” John 19:36  Kingdom citizens never concern themselves about rights and freedom while living in this world. This place on earth is temporary. That is a difference between having a Kingdom mindset and a religious mindset. This world is not our home. The things of this world are of no real consequence to us. We realize that we live in this world but aren’t of this world. We only live here for as long as our Lord and King allows.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 AMP

King Jesus made this prayer to His Father:  Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. . .  I have given them Your Word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.  And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. John 17:11, 14-19

King Jesus was speaking of His disciples, but He added us to His prayer to His Father. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:20-23

The words of King Jesus concerning the religious Scribes and Pharisees shows us that religion has no place in God's Kingdom. We see here how Jesus felt about religion!  They crush people with unbearable religious demands and never lift a finger to ease the burden.

“Everything they do is for show. On their arms they wear extra wide prayer boxes with Scripture verses inside, and they wear robes with extra long tassels.  And they love to sit at the head table at banquets and in the seats of honor in the synagogues. They love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces, and to be called ‘Rabbi.’

“Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters. And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father. And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah. The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either." Matthew 23:4-14 NLT
(The whole chapter is excellent! It clearly shows King Jesus' attitude  about the religious. Matthew 23)

The Lord God’s charge to His people was this:  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. Hosea 4:6 The same situation exists today to the self proclaimed people of faith, when they fail to read and study the Lord God’s Constitution and fail to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit, our Governor. We need a reverence for God’s Word and never throw it around casually, using scriptures out of context to fit our personal “narrative”.

We must approach teaching and preaching the Kingdom Gospel as Jesus taught, circumspectly; with a reverential fear of the Lord God.  We should never allow ourselves to misrepresent Him or His Kingdom!

Remember, your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.

The Kingdom Message is Unique

1/20/2023

Picture
The other morning, for a brief moment, I was hit with the emotional thought that I was alone in seeing the Kingdom message. As I approached my wife in the kitchen, I shared with her that thought. (Keep in mind, when the enemy throws a stumbling block in your path, it will always be aimed at your emotions! But the Lord God will use it for your good, if you will allow Him.) Not long after, she came to me with these words:  The Kingdom of God is unique. From that point on the Governor—the Holy Spirit—began to deal with me. This is what He showed me:

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22

I realized at that very moment that the evil one was making an attempt to discourage me. I recall what my Lord and King stated to His Disciples.  And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city! Matthew 10:12-15 Notice He didn’t say stop and make an attempt to convince them of the Kingdom. Realize that there will be times on this earth that you will feel as if you are all alone with the Kingdom message, but you are not alone. The Holy Spirit, our Kingdom Governor, will guide you every step of the way. Let Him lead and guide you with His Kingdom message.

Remember what King Jesus said concerning the Governor. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. John 14:15-18 He stated that He will not leave us alone here on this earth as orphans! He also stated if you love Him and keep His commands His Father will make their home with us. He was speaking of the Governor—the Holy Spirit.

Keep in mind that the Kingdom of God and Heaven is eternal. Remember what King Jesus stated to Nicodemus. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:14-15 This is one of the reasons that the Kingdom message is unique. Jesus is also why the Kingdom message is unique. He gave His promise to us. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are One. John 10:28-30 Yes, His Father agrees with this because they are One.

Remember that the Lord God always keeps His Word and promises. Ambassador Paul made it clear when he said that the Lord God couldn’t lie. Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. . . Titus 1:1-2 This is in agreement with the Word from the Lord God that the prophet Balaam spoke to Balak. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.” Numbers 23:19-20

This is yet another reason why the Kingdom message is unique. He is not like mankind that He should have to lie. Whatever He speaks is Truth.

Last, but not least of all, the Kingdom message is unique because it is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven government, come to earth through our Lord and King, Jesus the Christ. It is a message that is hard for anyone of a religious background to see. But once you see it, you cannot unsee it and your mindset is forever changed, by the power and wisdom of our Governor, the Holy Spirit!

He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.

That is why I use these parables; For they look, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really listen or understand. This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says,
‘When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend. For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to Me and let Me heal them.’

“But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.” Matthew 13:11-17 NLT

Yes! Always remember that His message is unique and we, His citizens, are unique all the way down to our DNA and our fingerprints! But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.

“Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10 NLT

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in the Word of the living God.

He Came Not to Condemn the World

1/13/2023

Picture
To condemn is to publicly declare that someone is wrong, guilty; to pass judgment.

When speaking to the religious leader, Nicodemus, King Jesus made this statement: For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17 Keep this in mind, throughout His whole stay in this world; He never condemned a single person for their sins. In fact, He forgave them of their faults and sins. When people left His presence, they were better and forever changed; not condemned.

Do you recall the woman who was caught in adultery and how the religious leaders accused her before King Jesus? Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?”

This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear.

So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John 8:2-11

We, as Kingdom citizens are to teach and preach the Kingdom government as we are led of the Holy Spirit, our Governor. As I walk on this earth, I must say, there are many religious leaders and individuals who don’t even know who the Governor—Holy Spirit—is. If they don’t know who He is, how can they have Him dwelling in their mortal body?

When the Lord Jesus sent His disciples out in twos, He told them that if they were rejected, to simply “shake the dust off of their feet”. He never told them to condemn those who would not receive their message. “Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. Matthew 10:11-15 Note that He didn’t state to tell them they were going to hell.

We as citizens of the Kingdom government should always be looking to make others aware of the Kingdom message, but not to condemn. Now, first to be clear, those individuals who fail to acknowledge Christ as the Lord God’s only Son are condemned already. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:18-19

You cannot have the Lord God without His Son. They are One. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 1 John 2:23  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. . . Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 14:6 & 10

So we should always follow the example of our King Jesus and the leading of our Governor—the Holy Spirit. You must allow Him to draw them to the King through you. If you draw closer to Him, He will come closer to you.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify  our hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:7-10

Our responsibility as Kingdom citizens is to preach and teach the Kingdom government to others and not to get involved in this world’s affairs. For we are born again of His Spirit, therefore we are not of this world.  Jesus answered, “My Kingdom is not of this world. If My Kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My Kingdom is not from here.” John 18:36

This is why we, as citizens of His Kingdom, should never condemn the people of this world. We also should never have to pick up arms to defend ourselves. We are citizens of His Kingdom, not soldiers. The Lord God has angels to do His bidding.  And suddenly, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?” Matthew 26:51-53

We live in the fallen world but it is not in us. We are full of God’s Kingdom through the Holy Spirit operating within us. There is no place for condemnation in His Kingdom. We represent King Jesus and His Kingdom everywhere we go for where we are, God’s Kingdom is there! Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 NLT

Your greatest asset in the Kingdom is your faith in His Word.

Understanding What the Kingdom Is, and Is Not

1/5/2023

Picture
When the Pharisees asked King Jesus about the Kingdom, this is what He said: Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-21 Keep in mind that when He made that statement, He was speaking of the Holy Spirit—our Governor—that would be in them. For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 NLT

However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. John 16:13-14

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:22-25 NLT

What we must understand, is that the Kingdom of Heaven resides in those who are filled with the Holy Spirit—our Governor. This will come about for those of us who love Him and keep His commands. You have to be “on the same page” with His Word. Being obedient to His Word is key to receiving the Governor—Holy Spirit. You must have the same mindset. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4  An example of the Holy Spirit as our Governor would be the ancient Romans appointing a Governor to rule and manage a new territory, in accordance with their laws. When we accept King Jesus as our Savior and entrance into His Kingdom, we become His “territory” and He will send the Holy Spirit—our Governor—to govern us.

Attending church doesn’t mean that you are in the Kingdom. It means that you attend a religious institution and more likely have a religious mindset rather than a Kingdom mindset. The Kingdom of the Lord Jesus is a government. God’s Constitution made that very clear. How could we have missed it? For unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 9:6-7

Having a Kingdom mindset is vital, because you will view the Lord God’s Constitution from a much different perspective. To be a citizen in the Kingdom of the Lord God is to have it within you.

Understand this one thing, the Kingdom of God isn’t just something you talk about, it is the government of the Lord God operating in your mortal body. Remember, when you have the Governor—Holy Spirit—living in your mortal body, it is the government of God’s Kingdom living inside of you. Do you recall what King Jesus stated to His disciples?  He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. . . Soon the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me. Since I live, you also will live. When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I am in you. Those who accept My commandments and obey them are the ones who love Me. And because they love Me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”  Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but the other disciple with that name) said to Him, “Lord, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us and not to the world at large?”

Jesus replied, “All who love Me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and We will come and make Our home with each of them. John 14:17-23 NLT

His Word should be an ongoing thing in your life, as is water, air and food! In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. . . He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1-3, 10-14

The Kingdom of God has nothing to do with religion, church, denominations, conferences, brands, bands or even tee shirts. . .

The Kingdom of God is the government of God dwelling in you.

It is a personal and intimate relationship.

Know Your Kingdom’s Constitution and Obey It

Ambassador Paul wrote these words while in prison, to ambassador Timothy:  Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

Remember these words when responding to the devil’s invitation to sin. The Son of the Lord God always responded with His Father’s Constitution. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.  Now when the tempter (devil) came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”

Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:  ‘He shall give His angels charge over you and, In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”

Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. Matthew 4:1-11

At no time did He ever give His opinion, thoughts or feelings. He is the Lord God’s Son, but He only spoke the words of His Father in response. He shows us how we are to respond to every temptation and challenge…with God’s Word from His Constitution! It is our responsibility to know the Lord God’s Constitution for ourselves, not just listen to religious leaders for an hour a week.

Keep in mind, the Son humbled Himself and obeyed His Father’s Will. Philippians 2:5-8 He fulfilled His Father’s purpose and assignment for Him. This is why the Lord Jesus is the key to getting to His Father. King Jesus is the doorway, that leads to the Father God. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11 Remember, God isn’t his “name”, it is who He is!

It was through Abraham’s faith in the Lord God’s promise that we, being the Gentiles, were able to be a part of God’s Kingdom.  We weren’t added because of the righteousness of the law, but the righteousness of faith. For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect. Romans 4:13-14

Knowing your Kingdom Constitution is absolutely necessary.  We should be learning His Word daily so we can then teach others. Fathers should be teaching their family His Word, not leaving it to church leaders. How can a young person stay pure? By obeying Your Word. I have tried hard to find You—don’t let me wander from Your commands. I have hidden Your Word in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:9-11 NLT

One writer wrote these words in God’s Constitution:  You are my portion, O Lord; I have said that I would keep Your Words. Psalm 119:57 King David wrote these words:  For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. Psalm 33:4

The reason there isn’t unity among Believers is that they don’t know who they are. They call themselves Christian, which is a religious group. This is why we should embrace His Word. To know who we are, we must first know whose we are (who we belong to).

King Jesus made this statement:  But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 We are citizens of a government—the government of Heaven—His Kingdom government; not a religious organization. Those who truly study His Constitution from a Kingdom understanding know this.

If you walk by the Spirit, that means you are walking and living by the King’s Words. King Jesus made it very clear. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63 This is why I constantly repeat in all of my articles to “read and study His Constitution” because it is your life! It is your key to God’s Kingdom. If you moved to a different country, how well would you do if you knew none of their laws and benefits? How long before you broke a law you knew nothing about? You could end up in a prison, wishing you had studied up on that country's constitution.

Lastly, we must know God’s Word and have it down in our spirit because it is through those Words that the Holy Spirit—our Governor—speaks and leads us. My wife and I are so thankful that whenever we need an answer or a word, the Holy Spirit starts bringing the Word of God’s Constitution to our remembrance. His Word is always the answer to every question, every situation! But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26

Keep in mind that your greatest asset in the Kingdom of God is your faith in His Word.  Without it we are rudderless and powerless!

His Name His Reputation

12/2/2022

Picture
When you claim to know the Lord Jesus as your King and claim to be a citizen of the Kingdom of God you must consider your behavior on this earth.  The Lord God takes His reputation very seriously and will always honor His name. Our behavior reflects on Him. As citizens of God’s Kingdom we are His representatives in this world! The prophet Isaiah made it very clear when the Lord God was speaking through him. “For My name’s sake I will defer My anger, and for My praise I will restrain it from you, so that I do not cut you off. Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For My own sake, yes for My own sake, I will do it; for how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.” Isaiah 48:9-11

I have learned to value my name and be very careful how I conduct myself both in private and in the world’s eyes.  Remember, the Lord God will always honor His promises because His name and reputation is at stake. Do you recall what He stated to Abraham? Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” . . .  And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” Genesis 12:1-3; 18:10 Notice the Lord God kept reminding Abraham of His promise to him. And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” Genesis 15:4-5

Here is where the full promise came to play:  And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. Genesis 15:6

The Lord God fulfills His promises for His name’s sake and His reputation!

We, who are of the faith of Abraham, came through the faith by believing in the Lord God’s Son, Jesus the Christ.  Our faith in Him seals it for us.  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17  Keep in mind that the Lord God waited until His appointed time to fulfill His promises to Abraham, even though Abraham was 75 years old when the Lord God first promised him a son. So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. Genesis 12:4 The Lord God doesn’t operate in time as we do, but in eternity. He chose 25 years to fulfill His promise to Abraham.

And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.  And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him—whom Sarah bore to him—Isaac. Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.” She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.” Genesis 21:1-7

Read King Solomon’s words here from the Lord God’s Constitution:  A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches. Loving favor rather than silver and gold. Proverbs 22:1

Even in choosing those to handle the Lord God’s business, those whom the Lord God has called into leadership, must be full of the Holy Spirit—our Governor. We as citizens of His Kingdom must keep and guard our good name and reputation.

Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. Acts 6:1-3  Choose carefully those you place in leadership! We should be very careful in promoting others that we are being led by the Governor—Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and guide. We need to lean on and depend on Him wholeheartedly for guidance. If we are tuned in to Him, we will not make mistakes. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13

There are times when we will come under serious attack by demonic forces, but we must stand strong in our faith in King Jesus; not faith in your religion or any other religions or leaders. Remember what King Jesus stated while He was here on earth:  “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matthew 28:18 Also remember that His name is the key to your salvation. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 NLT

The Lord God will always honor His promises and maintain His reputation, for His name’s sake. All that He asks is that we believe wholeheartedly in His Son. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” John 14:12-14

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Psalm 23:3

For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great. Psalm 25:11

For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore, for Your name’s sake, lead me and guide me. Psalm 31:3

Remember, your faith in the Lord Jesus is your greatest asset in God’s Kingdom.

He Came With One Message

11/18/2022

Picture
King Jesus, the Lord God’s Son, had only one message: “The Kingdom of the Lord God is near”.  Keep in mind that Jesus’ earthly cousin, John, preached that message first, preparing the way.  In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying:  “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ” Matthew 3:1-3 However, King Jesus always demonstrated how His Kingdom operated here on earth. He was a living example of a Kingdom life on earth. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 4:23-24

Keep this thought in mind; He only had one message. Everything else was demonstrations of how His Kingdom operated. Also remember that King Jesus always taught in the synagogue. Preaching is for getting one’s attention; teaching is for education and direction. There is a purpose and time for each. In the synagogue, he had their attention; they were there to be taught. Citizens of the Kingdom need guidance, wisdom and understanding. Ambassador Paul made this statement in God’s Constitution. Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.  And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. Romans 12:1-2 AMP

Mankind’s nature is to get bored quickly and want something new. But the Lord God wants His citizens to become more and more like Him. That will only happen by keeping our minds in “renewal mode” in terms of His Constitution. To become more and more reflective of our King, our minds must be filled with His Word. Without it, we will never be more like Him!  If you will allow Him, our Governor—the Holy Spirit—will guide and teach you everything you need to know. Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. . . But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:15-17, 26   However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13

When the Lord God gave me the assignment to teach by written word, He assigned my wife Arlene to assist me. He instructed us to stay focused on one message—the Kingdom of Heaven is here!  Since 2012, we have been obedient to His assignment for our lives and we are content with His purpose and assignment for our lives. We are a team, as when King Jesus sent out His disciples. He always sent them out as a team. When you understand the message He has given you and your assignment, you will also feel contentment working in it. Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13 NLT

The Kingdom message and its principles should be the only message that is taught; not prosperity or how to get wealth, or being a person of influence, or angels or happiness. The only message is wrapped up in seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Don’t be led by what man wants or even by their troubles (depression, anxiety, lack for example), but by the Holy Spirit—our Governor. The Holy Spirit will never lead your astray.  In order for you to embrace His Kingdom, you must value it! King Jesus spoke of its value in these parables:  Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls,  who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46
How much to you value your life in God’s Kingdom?

May I reiterate, that the Kingdom government should be taught and preached by His born again citizens. Our Lord sent His disciples out to preach the same message with these instructions. These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.  But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.’  Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. Matthew 10:5-15 He gave all of them the same instructions, nothing different. He did not give each one a different message to preach. It was all about His Kingdom government and how they should conduct themselves. He also stated this concerning His Kingdom:  “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind.  When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away. That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous, throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Do you understand all these things?” “Yes,” they said, “we do.”

Then He added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.” Matthew 13:47-52 NLT
Everyone has their assignment, even the angels. Our assignment is to preach the Gospel of His Kingdom and be a living example of life in God's Kingdom right now. There are no greater or lesser assignments, when it is given by our Father.

Remember, your greatest asset in His Kingdom is your faith in Him.

He Will Have Nothing Before Him

11/4/2022

PicturePriorities
The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.  And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NLT That command from the Lord God holds true to this very day, nothing has changed concerning what He requires. God is eternal and unchanging. So is His Word!

As children of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, loving the Lord God is our first priority. Along with that is seeking His Kingdom. There should be nothing or no one we prioritize before our King and Lord; not even our children, wife, family or any religious person. For example, I have seen in recent times, mothers and fathers praising their children for their accomplishments more than they praise the Father for all He has done. Keep in mind that the Lord God is a jealous God. We see our children as a blessing from the Lord God, but they are actually our assignment—possibly our greatest assignment—from Him. But that assignment must never take precedence over the One who gave it. Do you recall what the Lord God stated in Exodus to His people, Israel? You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. Exodus 20:5-6 Also, keep this Word in your thoughts:  For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. Deuteronomy 4:24 For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God Exodus 34:14  I am speaking on this because we have become too comfortable with our image of the Lord God and forget the Father proclaimed in His Word several times that He will not tolerate anything to be worshipped before Him. Remember that in a kingdom nothing has priority over the king. Also remember that all of His Words are still true today, as the Old Testament gives us a clear image of the character of the Lord God.

Once you begin to see this, you will see more clearly what you, and others, worship above the Lord God. For example, most secular songs seem to be focused on women. This can be a form of worship. Is sex placed above the Lord God? Something to think about! His laws and principles are still the same. Remember what He told Joshua to tell His people:  Then Joshua warned the people, “You are not able to serve the Lord, for He is a holy and jealous God. He will not forgive your rebellion and your sins;  If you abandon the Lord and serve other gods, He will turn against you and destroy you, even though He has been so good to you.” Joshua 24:19-20 NLT

We cannot put the Lord God “up on a shelf” and bring Him out at our convenience, when we have a need. Recently, I heard it described as people who look at Him as their “genie in the lamp”. Good description! Rub the lamp and make a wish. No! He must be first if you want the greatest results of your faith in Him. Daily I am learning to put the Lord God first in my life. I love my wife, my children and my loved ones but King Jesus and His Father are first in my life. When something troubles me, the first one I contact is the Lord God, in Jesus name. He is my Creator and knows all about me, even more than I know myself.  The Lord is my light and my salvation;  Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? . . . One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek:  That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple. . . . When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take care of me. Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Psalm 27:1, 4, 10-11

King Jesus made this statement:  “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].” Matthew 6:24 AMP

He created you and blessed you with all that you have, whether great or small. And He gave you an assignment, a purpose, for living! If you put Him first in your daily life, He will make you a priority, as King Jesus stated:  But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:33-34

What have you allowed to take precedence in you life? The Lord God doesn’t say that we can’t have things or love people, but only to put Him and His Kingdom first above all.

But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in His Word.

Focused on the King’s Word

10/21/2022

There is nothing that can distract or derail you when you are truly focused on the King’s Word and His assignment for your life! The enemy will use many things and people to try, but you must stay focused on His Word and your God given purpose and assignment. It is so easy to get sidetracked. We live in trying, troubling times. It is absolutely vital to stay focused and immersed in the Lord God’s Constitution. It contains the answers to everything. When King Jesus’ disciples asked Him about end times, this is what He said. And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come”. Matthew 24:4-14

Now, remember, the Lord God’s time isn’t like mankind’s time. He doesn't live in time as we do. The beginning of the end started the day the Lord Jesus was taken back to His Father. Take note of those last two scriptures:  But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Yes! Hang in there until the end.  This is one reason it is so important to embrace His Word. It guides us and directs us in the way we should go. It also shows us what is truth in every situation. When the Lord Jesus was being tempted by Satan in the wilderness, it was His Father’s Word He quoted, not His opinion. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Matthew 4:3-4 This is the scripture the Lord Jesus referenced:  So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3

When He was tempted again by Satan, He quoted this passage of the Lord God’s Constitution to the evil one:  Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” Matthew 4:7,  referenced from Deuteronomy 6:16 “You shall not tempt the Lord your God as you tempted Him in Massah.”

Satan attempted to cause King Jesus to succumb to his temptations one last time and again He quoted His Father’s Constitution:    Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” Matthew 4:10, referenced from Deuteronomy 6:13-14 NLT You must fear the Lord your God and serve Him. When you take an oath, you must use only His name. You must not worship any of the gods of neighboring nations.”

Keep in mind that every time he confronted Satan’s temptations, King Jesus responded with the Lord God’s Word. He showed us we should always respond to the evil one with God's Word. In those times of temptation, we don’t have time to search out a scripture. We must have His Word on the tip of our tongue, loaded and ready to “shoot down” every temptation fired at us!  No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Also keep in mind, regardless of all the right things you may have accomplished for the King, if you fail to last until your death or until He returns, it will all be for nothing, so we must endure and hold strong in our faith in His Word until He returns!  But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 24:13 The question some may ask is “saved from what?” Saved from eternal punishment . . . hell.

The Lord Jesus made it very plain. “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’

Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:41-46

The writer of Hebrews likens it to a runner who is in a race. Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

The only way we can endure is to stay focused on—and living by—the Lord God’s Constitution. His Word is everlasting life and the answer to every problem we have!

Remember, your faith and obedience in His Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.

Learning the Mind of God

Two things must happen to know the mind of the Lord God:  You must study the Word of the living God and you must be filled with the Holy Spirit, our Governor in the Kingdom. That is what is meant by being born again. King Jesus made this statement while speaking to Nicodemus. Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”

Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” John 3:3-8 NLT

King David hungered to know the ways of the Lord God:  Show me Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; on You I wait all the day. Psalm 25:4-5  King David also tells us that it is the humble who learns from Him:  Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, and the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, to such as keep His covenant and His testimonies. Psalm 25:8-10

Understanding the mind of the Lord God takes patience, time, focus and total obedience to His commands. We as Kingdom citizens should always be mindful of who we are because of King Jesus. Regardless of where we may go in this present world or who is in our presence, we should always embrace His principles. Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol. (death) Psalm 86:11-13 Personally, I can relate to those very words. Learning the mind of the Lord God will give you a different way of thinking and create in you an entirely different lifestyle. It will also change the way you look at people when you begin to see them as the Lord God sees them!

Learning the mind of the Lord God is a process of transformation in one’s mindset. Ambassador Paul spoke of this to those citizens of the Kingdom in Rome:  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Romans 12:1-2

Having a Godly mindset causes a Kingdom citizen to always look for guidance of the Holy Spirit—our Governor. When you are guided by the Governor, you are being guided by the mind of the living God. You may ask how is it so? The Father, Son and the Governor (Holy Spirit) are One. Read what the Lord Jesus said as He prayed to the Father:  Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. . . I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one. John 17:11, 20-22

When you have our Governor—the Holy Spirit—residing in your mortal body, you will be taught and led by Him. Ambassador Paul spoke of this to the Kingdom citizens of Corinth. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. 1 Corinthians 2:10-12 We are also taught by the Governor to love one another. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit. But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another. 1 Thessalonians 4:8-9

I am sure you recognize that the Holy Spirit—our Governor—and the Word of God are the keys to learning the mind of the living God. He has placed within us the desire to know Him and He has given us all that we need to fulfill that desire.  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8

Remember, your faith in the Lord Jesus is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.
