Infused in the Word--July
We are continuing in our weekly scripture discipline to encourage you to read and study God's Word more and also meditate on the key thoughts of our recent articles. We pray this will encourage and assist you as you grow in the Kingdom.
July--Week Thirty
Article: How Did We Miss It?
- One of the key reasons that most individuals fail to stay on course is that they fail to study God’s Word. Study to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
- Another key point is to give our all to the King for we belong to Him. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:1-2 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV
- Always keep in mind that all that we are and have belongs to the King. For all the animals of the forest are mine, and I own the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for all the world is mine and everything in it. Psalm 50:10-12

Article: It's Time to Mature
- Being distracted by the pleasures and anxieties of this world will cause immaturity in the Kingdom. The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And so they never grow into maturity. Luke 8:14
- Those with a worldly mindset (being carnal minded), one focused on worldly pleasures, is not capable of receiving the Kingdom. Only those who have matured in the Word have a Kingdom mindset. Yet when I am among mature believers, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world or to the rulers of this world, who are soon forgotten. 1 Corinthians 2:6 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Ephesians 4:13
- One of the key reasons for teaching the Kingdom message is so that those who are being taught may mature. So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. Colossians 1:28
- We must learn to persevere through our trials and temptations because they are the tools of maturity. Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. James 1:2-4

Article: His Name is Jesus, Immanuel
- Remember, there is no other name among mankind that can save and deliver you. "For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, ‘The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.’ There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:11-12
- It is vital that you have faith in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. "Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.” Galatians 2:16
- Remember it was because of faith in the name of Jesus that that the lame man could walk. Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes. Acts 3:16
- To those who are not afraid to acknowledge their faith in Jesus the Christ, we should always give thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ for all He has done for us. Our testimonies build others faith also. We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people. Colossians 1:3-4

Article: Life Without Knowing Your Divine Purpose
- When the Lord Jesus came to earth, He knew His assignment. Then Jesus went from Galilee to the Jordan River to be baptized by John. 14 But John tried to talk Him out of it. “I am the one who needs to be baptized by you,” he said, “so why are you coming to me?”
But Jesus said, “It should be done, for we must carry out all that God requires.” So John agreed to baptize Him. Matthew 3:13-15
- The Lord Jesus' purpose was to restore the Kingdom of Heaven into every believer. It was for that reason He died and surrendered Himself to the cross. If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Christ died and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living and of the dead. Romans 14:8-9
- His message and assignment was so simple to all mankind. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23 NKJV

Article: I Have Made You Too Small in My Eyes
- We make Him small in our eyes when we turn to man, or ourselves, to fix us, to heal us, to solve our problems, to provide for our needs. We lack faith when we don't first turn to God! And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:27-31
- Whatever you are in need of, take it to the Lord first! There is nothing to fear on this earth. He is the answer and He will direct your path. Whatever the question, whatever the need, He is the answer. “Dear friends, don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot do any more to you after that. But I’ll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell. Yes, he’s the one to fear."
“What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Luke 12:4-7
- We often make Satan and his demons too big in our eyes. Change your perspective. You don't need to fear Satan nor fight him. We are already victorious over the demonic through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Revelation 1:17-18 When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to Him, “Lord, even the demons obey us when we use Your name!”
“Yes,” He told them, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. ” Luke 10:17-19
