When I reached the age of eighteen, the Holy Spirit, whom I now know as our Kingdom Governor—engraved this Word from God’s Constitution in my memory. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 At that time, I did not realize what a profound effect those words would have on my life one day. That is when the Governor preserved me until my appointed time to teach His Kingdom Gospel message to the world through the internet and eBooks. He also preserved my wife Arlene for this very purpose and assignment. Back then, I could not have even imagined what His purpose and plan was for my life! Computers and the internet had not even been invented yet! For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 He reveals our purpose in pieces over time because we aren't ready to receive it and cannot comprehend how it could be accomplished at that time.
I used to attend many different churches and denominations. It has been a long spiritual journey through a great deal of religious information, rituals and traditions. I realized that I had a mindset like every other religious person at that time. It gets rooted in your mind and becomes a part of you and your way of life. Even the world can "act" like a Christian; the characteristics are so common and engrained in their minds. We have seen it portrayed in comedy and satire in the world's entertainment.
It was only when the Governor brought back to my memory, Matthew 6:33, that my thinking began to change. He opened my eyes to see the Kingdom of God separate from religion, as a heavenly government. It required a whole new mindset. Old thinking had to be examined, questioned and laid to rest forever. Mental and spiritual “housecleaning”! I realized what ambassador Paul meant when he stated to the Roman Believers: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2
I began to realize that the King wants us individually to give Him our whole mind, body and spirit. Understand, religion keeps you at a junction until your appointed time to come to the knowledge of God’s Kingdom government. Many are still conformed to the religious way of thinking, but it is a journey of ever increasing wisdom, knowledge and understanding, if you seek it and are not content to just enjoy the ride of the journey. Seeking God's Kingdom is intentional. If you seek the Kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit—our Governor—will give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding. When He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. John 16:13-14
Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand. His disciples came and asked Him, “Why do you use parables when you talk to the people?”
He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not. To those who listen to My teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them. That is why I use these parables, for they look, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really listen or understand. This fulfills the prophecy of Isaiah that says, ‘When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend. For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes—so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to Me and let Me heal them.’”
“But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it. Matthew 10:9-17 NLT
I am convinced that it is the guidance of our Governor that led Arlene and I to create this website for the world to freely, without any cost, view, read, and study. It is our purpose to share all the Holy Spirit gives us to all who are seeking Kingdom knowledge. It will only be revealed to you if you take the time and effort to truly seek it with all your heart. Understanding that life in God’s Kingdom government is your protection and provision in this world. Read what King Jesus stated while here on this earth:
Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Luke 12:22-32
Keep this thought in mind. When Kingdom citizens obey and trust in God and His Kingdom government, you do not need to worry about anything. He has already provided. He has already made a way. His Will is being performed in your life. Trust in your King and do not worry. The problem comes when we doubt, like Peter when he stepped out on to the water. I can truly say that my wife and I are living examples of what it is to be a Kingdom citizen. Those with a religious traditional mindset think they must be seeking after prosperity, but citizens obey and trust in His Word. Whenever we seek after anything other than His Kingdom and His righteousness, we are out of His Will and will not succeed. I truly feel as King David did:
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. Psalm 37:23-25
We can truly say from our life experiences that if and when you embrace the Kingdom way of thinking, you will never have to concern yourself with wanting things. He provides for all of His citizens needs. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. Philippians 4:11-13 NLT
Life in God’s Kingdom is a journey of ever increasing wisdom, knowledge and understanding. We may have only been “riding along” for most of our life, with religious minds, but for nearly twelve years now we have been focused, intentionally seeking and growing and the benefits are beyond words! Trust the Father and let Him use you for His Kingdom purpose!
But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites. If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]. Galatians 5:22-25 AMP
Remember, your faith in the King’s Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.
