Ask yourself, what is the level of my faith in my King and His Word (God’s Constitution)? Is that faith greater or less than your faith in a physician? Having our prayers answered is also a great faith-builder. I am a living example of our King’s healing power. Ever since He healed my hand—the one I am writing this article with—my faith in His Word has become more radical and unshakable every day. Since the day I walked out of the doctor’s office, with his recommendation to have hand surgery on my mind, my faith in the Lord God’s Word has been growing. Trust in the Lord, and do good. Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him. Psalm 37:3-7
If you believe as the centurion (Roman officer) believed when he went to Jesus, your faith in the King will be recognized. He believed in the Words of King Jesus to the point that he knew King Jesus didn’t have to go and lay hands on his servant. Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. Matthew 8:5-13 The kind of faith this centurion displayed could be considered radical. The centurion went all out, believing in King Jesus. That is the kind of unshakable, unwavering faith our Savior and King desires His citizens to have in Him, no matter how circumstances look. We should never look to mankind for healing, not if you truly believe in the Lord God’s constitution. So, I ask again, what would you say is your level of faith in the Lord Jesus and His Word?
Remember, we must answer to Him for our actions, not to mankind. We as His children and citizens of His Kingdom must learn how to walk in the belief that He will protect and keep us every day. The Governor—Holy Spirit—will guide you and lead you down the correct pathway for His name’s sake. It is all for His glory and for His name’s sake. Yes, You are my rock and my fortress; for Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me. Psalm 31:3 AMP
His name should be very important to you because it is important to Him. Do you recall what ambassador Peter said to the religious leaders in the Sanhedrin court? And it came to pass, on the next day, that their rulers, elders, and scribes, as well as Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the family of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:5-12
Keep in mind, you are not in a religion, you are in His Kingdom government. We must be free of a religious mindset and root it all out of our minds by reading and studying the Lord God’s constitution.
Your healing, deliverance from sin, and a victorious life hinges on what you believe. Remember what King Jesus said to the centurion: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour. Matthew 8:13
Do you recall what King Jesus stated when the fig tree withered? And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:21-24
Remember, your faith in King Jesus and His Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.
