You Are Influencing Someone As You Live
Somewhere in your neighborhood, your presence has influenced someone to keep on doing what they are doing. Whether it is positive or negative. The way you live your life in public has helped shape someone else's life. Keep in mind what the king stated: You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its flavor how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. The way you live your life will influence someone who is viewing your lifestyle one way or another. This world is just temporary. Remember what our king stated in God's Constitution: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away.
Keep in mind, to large extent, leadership is influence, and all of us already exercise some influence, whether positive or negative, as I mentioned before. If somebody else is watching you, you are a leader. The moment you have a child of your own to raise, you are a leader. When you know more about a particular subject than other individuals, and can teach it to them, then you are a leader. When you are placed in a position of responsibility over your peers, you are a leader. Keep in mind; leaders who exercise positive influence don't try to prove themselves to others. They are more concerned with manifesting themselves, or revealing the purpose that they were born to fulfill. When you inspire other individuals through your passion, you never have to announce that you are a leader. People will think of you as a leader and will call you one themselves, because you will have motivated them to do something, to change the status quo, to create something new, to find a solution to a problem, etc.
Now keep in mind, the essence of influence is the ability to motivate others to take action and affect change. By the way, that is the influence Dr. Munroe had on my life. You can't influence if you fail to inspire, and you can't inspire if you do not have passion. Do you see the domino effect? You won't have passion unless you are convinced about your purpose, conviction and vision in this world.
Matthew 5:13 Mark 13:31
