The Blind Leading the Blind, But True Leaders Are Filled
As I study the life of my King, He is the greatest leader and definitely our eternal King. Remember, Jesus was with His Father from the beginning of creation. Jesus is the Word in the flesh. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Remember, that same Word walked and lived among us. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
In order for one to be a great leader, one must be a great follower. King Jesus was that great follower. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Now that is demonstration of true leadership. wouldn't you say?
We need to make sure our eyes are fully open, so that we will know where our leaders are taking us, and can avert potential disaster. This is why it is so important to read and study God's Constitution, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes to those who are obedient to the King's Word. These are the true representatives and leaders of the Kingdom. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. A true leader never considers their life, and death is an option. We are God's children, not "Christians" but citizens of the Kingdom. We have the greater power John reminds us of: You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. True divine leaders are led by the Holy Spirit; not by their wives, customs, traditions, the deacon board or trustee board, etc. The ambassador Paul made it very plain when he stated these words: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. This isn't just a title, this is who you really are, sons and daughters of God. His indwelling Spirit gives you that ownership. Keep in mind what King Jesus stated: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
