I realize that the message in which I teach and preach concerning the kingdom of heaven isn't a popular message. Many religious people are offended because of it; but its the mandate that the Father God has placed in my heart. I don't want any individual to be lost because I failed to share with you the restoring of His Kingdom. By the way, I am in good company. For back when Jesus was walking this earth, His message of the kingdom offended many of those religious people.
Constitutional Scripture Matthew 15:12-14 Then His disciples came and said to Him, "Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?" 13) But He answered and said, "Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. 14) Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.
I also realize that some of you who are reading this message may be somewhat religious, but keep in mind, I have been where you stand. God the Father of all creation gave me this message over forty years ago, but I was too busy being religious. The part of the Constitution He gave me was found in Matthew:
Constitutional Scripture Matthew 6:33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
I was preaching everything but what He told me to preach. Now over forty years later, I finally got a clue. But believe it or not, I feel almost as good physically now as I did back then. I must say, God has been truly good to me. Now, thanks to Dr. Myles Munroe being obedient to His purpose, God has allowed me to fulfill my purpose for Him.
I just want to take a moment to share with you the power of religion versus the kingdom. For one, the power of religion lies in its ability to serve as a substitute for the kingdom and thus hinders mankind from pursuing the genuine answer to his dilemma. Religion preoccupies man until he finds the Kingdom. And if you attempt to reverse that mindset without the guidance of the Governor, meaning the Holy Spirit, that will be a mind bending process.
Here are some comparisons concerning religion and the Kingdom:
a. Religion is what man does until he finds the Kingdom.
b. Religion prepares man to leave earth, while the Kingdom empowers man to dominate earth.
c. Religion focuses on heaven; while the Kingdom focuses on earth.
d. Religion is reaching up to God; while the Kingdom is God coming down to man.
e. Religion wants to escape earth; while the Kingdom impacts, influences and changes earth.
f. Religion seeks to take earth to heaven; while the Kingdom seeks to bring heaven to earth.
Focus point: Keep this in mind, Jesus only had one message. Even when Jesus came back from the resurrection, He remained here on earth for forty days; while He was here He still spoke concerning the Kingdom of heaven.
Constitutional Scripture Acts 1:1-3 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2) until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chose, 3) to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
Focus Point: The kingdom of heaven is here.
