This is a new season for us. After 5+ years, I felt led not only to start a new blog, but to go back to my given name, Deborah. It is more fitting of this season we are entering. My husband has always called me by my middle name, Arlene, and his family and friends do also. All of you know me as Arlene. That is why I am mentioning it here. I am the same person and love my husband's name for me, but Deborah is who I was born to be.

Deborah said, “Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun...'" And Barak said to her, “If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, I will not go!”

Now, let us go out into the darkness of this world and shine the light of the Kingdom within you, that burns brighter ever day. That is the only way to overcome the darkness of this world.
