Your Purpose is Being Accomplished Through Christ
What I am saying when I say "through Christ", is that your strength should never get in the way of what the Holy Spirit is prepared to do. By the way, only He can do it. Never try to accomplish God's will for your life without the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit.
In the Constitution the apostle Paul made this statement:
Constitutional Scripture: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Focus Point: You cannot do all things. Remember, you can only do all things through Christ, who gives you the ability. Even though some of you may shout that "I can do all things", never forget that it's the Spirit of Christ that is working in you the will to do. God is asking you, "Are you with Christ?" Because if you are not, your plans, dreams, and imaginations will amount to nothing. Without Christ your efforts are futile and the result is frustration.
The apostle Paul's statement gives me great encouragement when he writes:
Constitutional Scripture: Romans 8:31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Now the word for is really the Greek word with. So let us say it this way: "If God be with me, who can be against me?" The implication is that if God has given you something to do and He is with you, nothing or no one is going to stop you from accomplishing what God wants you to do. I don't care who the person is or how much influence he has, if God is with you, it's not important who is coming against you.
Now here is a message I will share with you. If you are going to stay in your purpose and release your potential, you must live each day observing who is with you, instead of who is against you. You could be experiencing political victimization, pressure from your supervisor or boss or even your spouse or parents; even unfair treatment from your family and closest friends and associates. Keep in mind, that these influences are not the most important factors in your life. You could spend the rest of your life fighting so many people and circumstances that com against you; or you can focus on the Word of God and His presence and treat them as a temporary in conveniences. Remember, God is with you, those who accuse or harass you have no power over you.
Focus Point: You can choose to believe what God says or choose to follow or listen to what others think and say about you. Remember what King Jesus stated in the Constitution:
John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Focus Point: These are words of encouragement. Remember, God is our source. Without a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus the Christ, we will forfeit our purpose and potential.
