Focus Point: In the United States there are many cultures and many denominations that are growing because people are looking and searching for the kingdom, but often what they find is a leader who has sold out to material possessions. This has resulted in many beliefs, doctrines and practices that are widely existing in churches across America. Preachers here don't preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, they preach the gospel of religion and financial blessing; so many individuals come to the church to get or be blessed. Many preachers may touch on the kingdom in their messages, but in reality they don't know what the Kingdom really is. (sad!)
What I have found also is this: the religious leaders that have some knowledge of the kingdom are afraid to fully speak on it, because they don't want to lose their finances. This is sad but true. Do you remember what Christ stated to Apostle Peter? They had just eaten breakfast by the sea:
Constitutional Scripture: John 21:15-16 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” 16) He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
Now to tend means to shepherd. Lambs need to be fed; sheep need to be guided. Peter would need to care for diverse people in different ways, as Christ had done with His disciples.
Now those of you who are pastors, the Lord Christ is going to hold you accountable. I like to use the term "the chickens will come home to roost".
What I am finding is that a lot of preachers here in America make "Christianity" come across as the "American dream" rather than God's Constitution. There are preachers and pastors in denominations that can't preach or teach the kingdom because of their deacon board or denomination. Keep in mind, these individuals will be held accountable for their actions. What I am finding here in the United States, Christian Evangelists and others who claim to know the Lord, have exported a gospel as a financial means to get ahead in this world system with an American cultural paradigm (meaning pattern or model to follow). This is not in line with characteristics of the Hebrews, their language or their culture of the scripture. There are times that many of the megachurch speakers come off as motivational speakers rather than God's Ambassadors. Many preach a message that tickles the ears of their members--messages that make one happy and lack substance. Once again do you remember what God told the leaders of Israel who failed to do the exact thing I am speaking of?
Constitutional Scripture Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Constitutional Scripture II Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers 4) and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
