I want you to keep this statement in mind: "Each of us come into this world with an assignment to fulfill"
Focus Point: Winston Churchill once said "The price of greatness is responsibility" When I consider that saying, I realize that contained a truth that should always be guarded and heeded to. In one of his messages, I heard Dr. Myles Munroe make this statement: "The graveyards are full of great men and women who never became great because they did not give their ability responsibility". That is so true.
Unless we expose, during the course of our lives, all that the Lord God has placed within us for the good of mankind, our potential will be aborted. In my thinking, abortion is one of the worst tragedies that ever came into the mind of men and women. It is a very controversial subject. but the question is, should it be?
Please note: Many people think of abortion as something new, but it really isn't. The truth is that the abortion issue is as old as man himself.
Focus Point: Now keep this in mind, that abortion is not only to be limited to the physical termination of a fetus in a mother's womb. Remember, the first act of abortion was performed in the Garden of Eden when the first man, Adam, was given the responsibility of carrying the entire human race within his loins.
Please note: In Adam was the seed for all generations and the strength for all mankind. do you remember what God said to Adam in the Garden?
Constitutional Scripture: Genesis 2:16-17 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17) but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
When you focus on the potential that every human being is born with, you come to this definition: To surely die means to definitely cease from manifesting the fruitfulness that exists within you or a thing. This is why abortion is so against who God is. Death, in its simplest form, is the termination of one's potential.
Please note: To abort means to terminate life before its full potential has or can be realized, before the person, or animal or plant, etc, is given an opportunity to fulfill its full potential.
Focus Point: Remember that God created everything with the hidden ability to fulfill itself. The Constitution records of creation, stating that the seed of everything is in itself to produce after its kind. Read what it actually states:
Constitutional Scripture: Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Focus Point: In essence, to abort a seed is to kill a forest; to abort a cow is to kill a herd; to abort a boy is to kill a man; to abort a girl is to kill a woman; and to abort a man is to destroy a nation. Do you remember what God told Abraham?
Constitutional Scripture: Genesis 12:2-3 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3) I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Remember, death in its simplest form, is the termination of potential.
