God's Constitution plainly states that this world will pass away. Lets read what the Lord God stated to His representative Isaiah: “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind." When I read these words I am so encouraged because I know that the Lord God never goes back on His Word; you should be as well. The Lord God also makes this statement through His representative: “For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before Me,” says the Lord, "So shall your descendants and your name remain." Once again the apostle Peter reminds us of the Lord God's promise: Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. I don't know about you, but these are very encouraging words to me. Why? Because the Lord that we serve can not lie. The apostle Paul reminds Titus of the promise of the Lord God: Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began".
On the island of Patmos, the Lord Jesus confirmed what His Father promised to John through a revelation. Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. These words were words of encouragement for John and many others even now. Why? Because the King cannot lie. Read what God stated to Balak in terms of who He is. Once again, God used one of His representatives by the name of Balaam to convey His message: “Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, son of Zippor! God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" I must remind you again, God's original intent and His continuing purpose was, and is, to extend His invisible heavenly Kingdom on the Earth; to influence Earth from Heaven through the rulership of His earthly children created in His image. The expansion of a Kingdom government, is the planting of an outpost in a new place is called colonization. To simply state, it was the Lord God's original intent to make Earth a colony of Heaven. We are to reflect Heaven's culture through His Spirit, Principles, Character and Laws.
