Understanding the BIG Picture
To understand the Kingdom concept and its superiority to other kingdoms, we must focus on the original beginning of creation and mankind before he fell from grace. The Kingdom concept was the Lord God's idea, not mankind's. A kingdom is ruled by one individual, the king. To make it very clear, a kingdom is ruled by a sovereign, righteous and benevolent king. To those of us who fall under the obedience of the Kingdom, it is King Jesus. Please note, the Kingdom concept isn't earthly, but heavenly in origin. In essence, it wasn't man's idea but the Lord God's.
This concept of a kingdom was in the mind of the Lord God before the creation of man. From the very beginning, the Lord God's plan was to colonize planet earth with the heavenly government. This was all before man's disobedience to God's command. That is why He created man, to manage the earth and all He had created.
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Keep in mind, the Lord God declared His intent to colonize His earth with His heavenly government. This statement has nothing to do with bringing a religion. This isn't a religious declaration, it is a government document that defines His governmental intent and establishes governmental authority.
This is why the Lord God sent His Son to the earth; to reclaim His Kingdom government through all those who believe in His name. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. NKJV
From the beginning, mankind was created to represent the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Man is a spirit being, after the nature of his Creator and Source. He lives in a body, which is made up of earth, that allows him to relate to the physical environment. He possesses a soul which is his intellect, will and emotional faculties. We as human beings are suited for this earth perfectly as the Lord God is suited for heaven.
Having said that, in a Kingdom the land is the personal property of the King, meaning we belong to Him and it is this ownership right that designates Him as Lord and King. Remember this one thing: In a true kingdom, there is no such thing as private property owned by the citizens; it all belongs to the king. He owns it all. King David made it very plain: The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to Him. For He laid the earth’s foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths. Another writer in the Lord God's constitution made this statement: The heavens belong to the Lord, but He has given the earth to all humanity.
We as citizens of the Kingdom own nothing. This is one reason we should give to the poor. King Solomon wrote in the Lord God's Constitution Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.
Once again, remember that your faith in the King's Word is your greatest asset.
