There Are Three Basic Needs of Mankind
Psychologists say there are three basic needs inherent in all human nature:
1) the need to belong
2) the need for significance and
3) the need for reasonable security.
Now the first need is to belong. Those who know say that ninety-five percent of delinquencies among youth come out of broken homes. By the way, I was one of them. The security of the home is broken up, the youth of today feels like they don't belong, so they become delinquent. There is a Chinese proverb which states:
"In a broken nest there are no whole eggs."
Example: The rogue elephants in Burma, India, and Ceylon are elephants who have been put out of the herd by their younger males. Then they turn rogue, tearing up huts, gardens, villages and anything in their pathway. Why? Because they don't "belong". This is the key reason why there are so many gangs, religions and other organizations throughout this country and throughout the world. The central and acute sickness of this age is that people do not belong. They do not belong to anything of significance. By the way, the Kingdom of God is of an eternal significance.
I was reading the other day that a certain man, when he died, was a member of twenty-seven clubs. My guess was this: He tried to make up in quantity for what he lacked in quality. Keep in mind, the sum total had no significance, hence no security. Mankind must belong to something that gives us a sense of belonging and a sense of significance and security for now and forever. This is a fact. This is one of the main reasons why we in the United States have so many causes. So many individuals are seeking their purpose, and most in the wrong places.
Now take a few minutes to recall possible memberships that enlist the whole world. I can't think of one, except the Kingdom of God, that promises and brings a sense of total belonging and a sense of belonging now to ultimate significance and the ultimate security. If there is another such possibility for belonging, then let man trot it out and I guarantee the people will follow it by the millions if it is real.
Question: Then why hasn't the church offered it? The answer to this question is simply tragic: The church has lost it. The church has lost the Kingdom of God.
Please note: Jesus was very straightforward when He stated to Nicodemus that he must be born again if he wanted to even see the Kingdom:
Constitutional Scripture: John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
Focus Point: How does one become born again in order to even see the Kingdom? Through the Word of God. This is why the Father has me stating on a constant basis "Study the Word of the living God".
Constitutional Scripture: I Peter 1:23-25 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever, 24) because “All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, 25) But the Word of the Lord endures forever.”
So the Kingdom of God is within you, and once you are filled with His Spirit, you will be able to see its character, principles and laws.
Constitutional Scripture: Luke 17:20-21 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21) nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
Please note: Remember, reading and studying God's Word on a constant basis is a must for the citizen of the Kingdom.

And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and acceptable
and perfect will of God.
