The Unchanging Individual and the Unshakable Kingdom
One of the biggest problems in the pavilion in which the Church meets, is that we have gotten caught up in preaching something that the Lord never told us to preach. He told us to preach the goodness of the kingdom, but yet we have exclusively focused on our preaching on Jesus as the door; but fail to preach and seek the kingdom first. He made it very plain in the Constitution:
Constitutional Scripture: Matthew 6:31-33 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Focus Point: Keep in mind, these are the words of our King. Jesus is His name. But we keep preaching His death on the cross for our sins and His resurrection as the guarantee of our eternal life. All this is indeed the truth and it is certainly good news, but it is not the full Gospel of Jesus the Christ told us to preach. He told us to preach the kingdom. Christ is the one who came to proclaim kingdom, and to restore it back to mankind. He is the one who through His death provided as the entrance to the Kingdom. Somehow we have become engrossed in preaching about the door that we have never gotten around to talking about life inside the door. This is the message Jesus commanded us to preach. Jesus is the King who rules over the Kingdom. We need to let the world know that there is a Kingdom that they can enter that will radically change the total order of their life.
Please note: Keep in mind, one of the reasons that the Church is not more effective at reaching the nations is because we are not preaching the message that they need to hear. Remember, Jesus was very specific in sending out His disciples concerning their message for the people.

People all over the world are looking for the Kingdom of God, even if they aren't aware of it. Everyone wants power. But it is unfortunate that they have sought to get that power through money or status in life. Unfortunately, they don't give you the power to create happiness or control the negative influences in your life. It is sad to say, that in their very hands, the Church has the message that will lead people to the power they are looking for--that is the Gospel of the King and His Kingdom. But unfortunately, many in the Church have discovered the King but they have no clue about the kingdom that He came to bring to mankind.
If many of these so-called prophets, preachers and teachers would stop spreading their own message and be obedient to the King's command, then people would respond to the message that there is a kingdom of life, power, authority and joy that is freely available to them. It is the source of the power that they are looking for. The Kingdom of God will give them the courage to face and overcome all the pressures of living in a post-modern world. I think it is sad that a great percentage of God's people have not experienced the realities of the Kingdom of God, much less committed themselves to the broadcasting of its message. But I will keep preaching, writing and teaching on the Kingdom of God until my purpose is fulfilled here on the planet God calls earth. Keep in mind, that God loves obedience.

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them,
I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house;
and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them,
will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house;
and it fell. And great was its fall.”
