The Power of Language in the Kingdom

Language in a kingdom is very important. Language is the key to a national identity. As I have stated before, language is the key to a culture. It may be said that culture is contained in language, because it shapes it. Keep in mind that if you and I cannot speak the same language, we can never have the same culture because we can’t communicate with one another. There can be no understanding. It all has to do with one’s mindset. If you have a religious mindset and someone is trying to communicate who has a Kingdom mindset, the conversation will not go well. There can be no “meeting of the minds”. Believe me; I have attempted this on several occasions.
Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:2
It would be as if you are speaking Spanish to an Italian. They sound similar, but they are two different languages—two different cultures. This is what happened when Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, was speaking to the Lord Jesus. The King had to break it down to him so that he could understand: Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?” John 3:3-13
There was no meeting of the minds there. If we cannot speak the same language, we can never understand one another nor have the same culture. The key to a strong community is language and understanding. By the way, that is why the United States are in so much turmoil. We as a nation of people have failed to embrace one language, English. It is only recently that our President has declared that English is our national language. A country is really not a nation of people until they speak the same language with understanding. Remember the day of Pentecost? The Governor was at work with all those who were there in one place. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4 It was by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When a nation doesn’t have a common language, the unity of the people begins to break down. This is why it is so important to understand who our Kingdom Governor really is and how He communicates with His citizens in God’s Kingdom. Ambassador Peter had to explain to the crowd witnessing the transformation:
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’ Acts 2:14-21
To understand the Kingdom governor, you first must study and read His Word, God’s Kingdom Constitution. Religious people refer to it as the Bible. Many think it is enough to join a church and get baptized with water. That just makes you a [art pf a religious group. But being filled with the Holy Spirit is when you are a citizen of God’s Kingdom. Enter into the fullness of life in His Kingdom! The Lord Jesus made it plain: And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” Acts 1:4-5
Take a moment to read Genesis 11 . You will see how important having one language is to a nation. The people wanted to build a tower that reached to the heavens. Then they said, “Come, let’s build a great city for ourselves with a tower that reaches into the sky. This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world.” Genesis 11:4 NLT
This was the Lord God’s response: But the Lord came down to look at the city and the tower the people were building. “Look!” He said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them! Come, let’s go down and confuse the people with different languages. Then they won’t be able to understand each other.”
In that way, the Lord scattered them all over the world, and they stopped building the city. That is why the city was called Babel, because that is where the Lord confused the people with different languages. In this way He scattered them all over the world. Genesis 11:5-9 NLT
Please note that the Lord God stated The people are united, and they all speak the same language. That indicates that the key to power is a unified language. Also keep in mind, when you build something using the mind, talent and materials He has provided, and take pride and credit for it rather than giving God the glory, it is the same as idol worship...self worship.
Anything that is more important to you than the King is an idol.
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18 The people were about to build a tower that was more important to them than their King and Creator.
Anything that is more important to you than the King, whether material, personal, family, or business has become an idol. Don’t be a person who has built their own little kingdom around their own life and accomplishments. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 NLT
Remember, your faith is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.
