The Origin and Purpose For Man
Man has always wanted to find or create a purpose for himself. But the Lord God, and Creator, has already accomplished that! Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world If you read and study God's Constitution, it isn't unreasonable to ask why God, the King of the heavens and the creator of the earth, would want to create sons in His image and an invisible universe. Was the creator not satisfied and pleased with an invisible realm of angels and powers to rule? I truly believe that the answer to these questions lies in understanding the very nature of God Himself. There is as much about this great, awesome, self-sustaining One that we do not--cannot and may never--know. But He has revealed enough of Himself to mankind to allow us to glimpse some of the magnificence of His nature and character.
One such characteristic is that "God is love". He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. It is this inherent nature of love that motivated God to create children made of spirit (called mankind) to share His Kingdom rulership. In other words, man was created for the purpose of rulership and leadership. This is why in the message of Jesus, when He described the age of the Kingdom of God and its provision for man, His indication was that this kingdom belonged to man before the earth was created.

Questions to ponder:
- It was God's desire to create sons in His image. What part of His image do you see in mankind? How have you been created in God's image? Do people easily see the image of God in you?
- As you view the nature of God, describe five of His attributes that directly deal with man. In regards to each of these five, tell why you appreciate them and how they have been demonstrated in your life.
- How did love cause God to create us? How did love cause God to create you? Are you aware of His love toward you? Have you received it deeply, or is God's love difficult to grab hold of?
- If God wants us to share in His rulership, how should man prepare himself for such a role? How do you gain the necessary tools and instruction to rule effectively? Is rulership something that comes naturally to you?
- Describe the borders of the Kingdom of God. Where does the Kingdom of God begin and end? How does its boundaries define where and who comes under your rulership?
Remember, it was the Lord God's idea to share His invisible Kingdom with His offspring,
which He called mankind and gave to them His nature and characteristics.
which He called mankind and gave to them His nature and characteristics.
