The Male's Purpose Part 3
To Be a Cultivator
God placed Adam in the garden not only to work it, but also to take care of it. This leads us to the third purpose of the male: to be a cultivator. I want you, as a man, to fully realize that you do not just cultivate; you are a cultivator by nature. You are a cultivator designed by God. This means that you improve things, maximizing your potential of the people and resources around you.
Keep in mind that you are designed to bring out the best in everything under your care. As Dr. Myles Munroe says, "This is why God will not give you a finished product."
Constitution: Genesis 2:15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to (till) it and to keep it.
Keep in mind, God has hidden products and resources in the physical world and watched to see what we would do with them. You will never be given a finished product by God. He'll only give you raw materials. God won't even give you a complete woman. The perfect woman that many men are looking for does not exist. Men get divorced because they are disappointed in the woman they married. If I was taught this years ago I wouldn't have gotten divorced. At that time, I was unaware that I had to cultivate my wife. Now have learned how to cultivate and bring the best out of my wife. There are times when she and I are discussing things, that it seems like I am listening to myself.
Men, understand that you must cultivate your wife. It is your job to love her as God the Father loves her by helping her maximize her potential, improve her life situation and be the best man you can be.
Think on this today:
