The Kingdom Process Here on Earth
Allow me to share with you the two possible ways of the kingdom process here on earth. First is to inaugurate it with a fanfare of physical accompaniment that would impose that rule with thunder, lightening and earthquakes; which would translate to the quivering man "Obey or else". Keep in mind, this would create slaves not men.
The second way is for God to hide the kingdom in the facts of nature and life, and then gradually reveal it as mankind developed sufficiently, to see that the kingdom is adopted as his own. Then, in the fullness of time, God could find a people or nation most likely to be the people or nation to accept that kingdom and make it their own. Then He would overtly reveal the nature and the implications of that kingdom in understandable form: human form and in human relationships.
Now many think that God chose the second way, He snuck up on us in a disguised form: the Babe, the Boy, the Carpenter, the Prophet, the Son of Man, the Son of God, the Redeemer, the Crucified, the risen and Alive Redeemer, the One who sits at the right hand of ultimate power in the universe; thus He revealed the Kingdom in a person (Jesus the Christ).
Question: Would men take that kingdom in such a form?
Now keep this in mind: some did and were transformed and showed a quality of life and power far beyond the ordinary. But keep this also in mind, many did not, and many to this day fail to embrace the whole message and lifestyle of the kingdom. Those who have embraced the kingdom to the fullness go far beyond ordinary. Those who did not, as a result, lived half-handed lifestyles, and half-lives through their lifestyles. They fumble and stumble in the dark, by failing to embrace His Word to the fullest. They fail to apply the Word of the living God to every facet of their lives.
Many who took or received the kingdom took it in a modified form, as a personal spiritual refuge in which they could run and be safe now or as a place of reward in heaven. They didn't reject it, they simply reduced it. In most cases they reduced it to some form of religion or denomination. You might even belong to one. In reducing the kingdom to those things they render it innocuous now. (meaning-1. that does not injure or harm 2. not controversial, offensive or stimulating; dull). It wasn't the Kingdom, God's total answer to man's need. It wasn't God's total plan and program for life--our life now; but has been interpreted as a reward thrown in at the end.
Now life has become so physically dynamic, so mentally and emotionally draining and so morally irresponsible that it is bursting at the seams. It is going to pieces at the very moment of our greatest triumph in so many areas, in every area except the area of living. I think it is funny, we know everything about life except how to live it. We need nothing so desperately as we need something to bring life into total unity and one's purpose in this life. We have become ripe for the rediscovery of the Kingdom of God.
Jesus made it very plain when speaking to His disciples. He told them not to worry concerning anything but the kingdom.
Constitutional Scripture: Matthew 6:33 But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Remember this one thing: the Kingdom of God is within you. These are the Words of Christ. This is what every man is searching for.

nor will they say,
‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’
For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
