The Kingdom of God is Within You Pt 1
Now, allow me to get more in depth in God's Constitution. "The Kingdom of God is within you" These were the words of Christ. But the Kingdom is not only within you. The Kingdom of Heaven is at your door and the Kingdom of God is coming--all three, not just one exclusively, but all three inclusively. Keep in mind, these words, the Kingdom of God is within you, was not spoken to those who were converted or His disciples, but spoken to the Pharisees (the religious sect). Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
The question: Is the Kingdom of God within everyone, whether they are evil, good or indifferent? Yes, because the laws of your being are the laws of the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom was built from the foundation of the world. It was built in, within the structure of our being. We were built to obey the laws of the Kingdom (But remember, the Lord God created us with the power of choice) If we obey the laws and principles within us, then we are fulfilled. What I call "citizens in good standing". If we go against those laws, we become frustrated, and if we persist, we become broken.
Paul, the ambassador and representative of the Kingdom, stated it this way: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
If you take the time to read this carefully, you will discover why some people are the way they are. They refuse to obey the Word of the King. This isn't a religious point of view, it is a government point of view--Kingdom government. All is love and all is law.
Keep in mind, God doesn't have to punish you if you break His laws written in you. Disobedience and its punishment are one and the same. You don't have to punish the eye for having sand in it, nor the body for having a cancer in it, nor the soul for having sin in it. Augustine stated: "Sin and punishment are one and the same." You take one, you must take the other.
