The Kingdom Is Truly Relevant
Now if the Kingdom of God is missing its magnificent, then the key meaning to God, life-redemption and life-fulfillment is truly missing. Life becomes meaningless and sickening and it becomes a problem instead of a possibility.
Magnificent-- 1) beautiful in a grand stately way; 2) exalted
Now if you have found the key to the kingdom, then you have found the master key. That key is accepting Jesus as God's Son and His message. That is important to the modern man. You have the key to relevancy in every situation. You have the key to do the kingdom thing, you are relevant and you are attached to the relevant and you do the relevant things. In essence, you do what is pertinent now.
Relevant-- bearing upon or relating to the matter at hand.
Please note: The Kingdom of God is more relevant now than any other time in history. If you know the kingdom through or by experience then you know what to do in any situation. Remember, those who are filled with the Spirit are led by the Spirit,if you have the Spirit of God in you. Keep in mind, those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God.
Constitutional Scripture: Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
Focus Point: If you live by Kingdom laws and principles then you become relevant and you are doing the relevant thing. By being attached to the relevant, it won't be long before you discover your purpose. You will be at the center of relevancy.
So for the church to be relevant, the answer is simple:
Rediscover the Kingdom, seek out the Kingdom and surrender to it. Make the Kingdom your life, loyalty and your life program. Then in everything and everywhere you will be relevant--then and now. For the Kingdom of God is relevancy; and it is ultimate and final relevancy when you have it, and it has you. Then and only then you have relevancy itself. In other words, you become truly what this world needs.
Focus Point: On the flip side of all I have just stated, If you fail to embrace the Kingdom of God, then you become irrelevant. For if you fail to address or meet the need, then you fail to become relevant and are non-productive. Jesus stayed true to His purpose and message. This was His Father's will and assignment for His life while He was here on this planet called earth.
Constitutional Scripture: John 5:30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
Focus Point: The Father's will was as food for Jesus. So what does that say about us?
Constitutional Scripture: John 4:34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work
Please note: Without the Kingdom, the church is irrelevant, except marginally.
Marginal-- 3) at, on or close to the margin or border. 4) close to the margin or limit especially a lower limit or standard of living.
Please note: With the Kingdom, the church is very relevant, centrally and marginally; by its very nature it is relevant. It doesn't have to add or try to add customs or traditions to add to its relevancy. It is relevant when it's itself, for it is attached in loyalty and love to the relevant--the Kingdom.
