The Human Identity of the Male
Adam did what many men still do today: he blamed Eve for his responsibility or, should I say, sin.
Constitution Genesis 3:11-12 And He said,"Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?"
Please note: The Lord carried the interrogation to its sad ending by posing one question after another.
Then the man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I ate it.
Pleas note: A guilty man's first line of defense is blame.
Men are still blaming the woman and mothers in our cultures for the social problems we're having with our children. The truth is that the root problem is the father.
Adam blamed the woman, and then he blamed god for having given her to him. David faced somewhat the same contrast in regard to sin:
Constitution: II Samuel 12:13 So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the Lord." And Nathan said to David, "The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die."
My message to all men, shop blaming women for your shortcomings and responsibilities. Yes, Eve was "deceived"....
Constitution: I Timothy 2:14 Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
...but Adam sinned, rejected his Father, and through his seed, became the progenitor of sin to all forthcoming generations. Remember, the fall of man was the result of a father receiving instructions from his "offspring:, instead of the other way around; the resource gave to the source what had not come from the Father. Reject and renounce the father of darkness and lies and return to the Father of light and life.
