The Government of Man Vs the Kingdom of God Pt 3

As discussed in part 2, man’s attempt to self-govern without the guidance of the Holy Spirit breeds corruption. The Lord God’s intent was to administrate earth’s government from Heaven through His nature, meaning His image, in mankind and manifest His nature and character on earth.
Remember this, the Lord God’s government is a unique structure that is still misunderstood. I describe it at this point as a corporate Kingdom government. What do I mean by that? A government by corporate leadership—the theocratic government of a King over kings as partners in governing the Kingdom of God. Hence, King of kings and Lord of lords”. The Lord Jesus always talked about the Kingdom: There was a man named Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader who was a Pharisee. After dark one evening, he came to speak with Jesus. “Rabbi,” he said, “we all know that God has sent you to teach us. Your miraculous signs are evidence that God is with you.”
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
Keep in mind that the Kingdom government concept is the Lord God’s idea, not mankind’s. Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. And you will be my kingdom of priests, my holy nation.’ This is the message you must give to the people of Israel.
Theocracy: 1. A form of government in which the Lord God’s (or deity) laws being interpreted by the ecclesiastical authorities; 2. A system of government by priests claiming a divine commission; 3. A commonwealth state under such a form or system of government.
In the above chapters and verses, we see the Lord God’s intent for His selected people/nation to be governed by heaven from heaven and to be an expression of His Kingdom here on earth. Remember, Israel rejected theocracy, the rule of a gracious, loving King and Lord who would protect and provide for them. Instead, they substituted an earthly king for a Heavenly Father and King. Their decision to make that choice led to serious consequences. The fall of mankind wasn’t the loss of heaven but rather the loss of the Kingdom government of heaven here on earth. In other words, they refused to be governed by their Creator and Source.
Also, remember that the spiritual, social, economic, physical, environmental and cultural conditions of our planet earth demand a government that is superior to any that mankind has ever invented. Perhaps mankind’s answer lies in an effective and just government that is found in the first official words of Jesus the Christ over two thousand years ago. It was His primary mission and command on the human state of mind. From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near”…”So, if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God’s laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
But I warn you—unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!”
Mankind’s spiritual, emotional and social needs can only be satisfied by accepting Jesus and receiving the Kingdom of heaven; not by any religious group or ritual ceremony. The Kingdom is the only source of true joy for the heart of mankind. He even instructed His disciples to preach the same message. Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. So, if the King instructed His disciples to preach the same message, what excuse do ministers today have for ignoring His message?
