Article: Pleasing Our King
- The Lord God planned long ago that the righteous would live by their faith in Him. “Write My answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.
Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant are never at rest. They open their mouths as wide as the grave, and like death, they are never satisfied. In their greed they have gathered up many nations and swallowed many peoples." Habakkuk 2:2-5
- Your faith and obedience in Him will cause you to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, our Governor. If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14:15-17
- The Word of the Lord God will give you peace if you have faith and obey His command. I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. John 16:33
- Your consistent faith in God's Word is your most valuable asset in the Kingdom of God. It is key! The more of God's Word that we get "in" us, the more our faith is built. It is "super food" for our faith! If you truly love Him, it is your total trust and faith in Him that pleases Him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6

Article: Trusting and Standing on His Promises
- Keep this thought in mind, the Lord God always keeps His promises. He cannot lie. For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s ultimate “Yes,” He always does what He says. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for His glory. 2 Corinthians 1:19-20
- The Lord Jesus promised us the Governor--Holy Spirit--if we love Him and keep His laws. “If you love me, obey My commandments.
- We must trust in the King, our Lord, with our whole heart. No doubt! Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:4-8 NKJV

Article: Transforming in a Fallen World
- Embracing God's Son Jesus as your Savior is the key to salvation and entrance into the Kingdom of God. For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. John 3:16-21
- Your first obligation is to listen and obey His command. God's priorities are our priorities. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:33-34
- Transforming your mind is an essential process but worth the effort. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:1-2 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8

Article: Praise Him In Every Situation
- Praise should be the first thing that proceeds out of your mouth in the morning. Thank you Lord for another day! Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty heaven! Praise Him for His mighty works; praise His unequaled greatness! Psalm 150:1-2
- Praising the Lord is a lifestyle for citizens of the Kingdom. I praise God for what He has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? I praise God for what He has promised; yes, I praise the Lord for what He has promised. Psalm 56:4, 10
- Praise isn't entertainment on a Sunday. It is a lifestyle, our relationship with our Lord God. I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath! May all my thoughts be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Psalm 104:33-34
- Live in an attitude of praise and worship. No matter what happens, we were created to worship Him! Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before Him, singing with joy. Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation! Psalm 100
