Always remember, Satan is the father of all lies and he is the god of chaos. He seeks to divide God's people and separate them from God. He gladly uses religion and twists God's Word to do it. Do you want to thwart his plans? Do you want to stop him in his tracks? Then you must be filled with God's Word and build your foundation on a clear, concise, unshakable grasp of the Kingdom of God that Jesus preached while He was here on this earth.
Is your Kingdom knowledge a little vague? Do you not completely understand what the Kingdom is? That is understandable because often when people talk about it, they are not clear. People made it complicated. Jesus made it simple. If you are seriously hungry for Kingdom knowledge, read the four Gospels--Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Read and study the life of Jesus--what He preached, what He did, how He lived, what He valued, what He preached when He arose after His crucifixion. His purpose for being here was to help us understand the Kingdom of God, to die for our sins, to rise up, teach more Kingdom, leave the Holy Spirit with us and go back to the Father and intercede on our behalf! Wow! Why would we live and preach anything else?
Today people use the word kingdom too freely. They use it to cover a multitude of religions and false doctrines. They use it to build up their own little kingdoms. People without a solid foundation of the four Gospels of the Bible are easily deceived by false kingdoms.
I will tell you what the Kingdom of God is NOT: It is NOT based on religion. It is NOT based on race. It is NOT based on denominations. It is NOT based on prosperity. It is NOT based on anything that in any way DIVIDES His people.
(read what Jesus has to say about prosperity in Matthew 6:25-34)
Kingdom culture is another word being attached to many things that have nothing to do with Jesus. Kingdom culture isn't complicated and it does not divide or isolate people from other people. Read the Gospels and it will show you how we are to live our lives. With the Holy Spirit in us to guide and govern our behavior and our words, and the knowledge of God's Word, we are able to be a walking, talking example of what the Kingdom culture is. Read on in the New Testament to Corinthians, Galatians and Ephesians especially, and see the character of a believer. In the Kingdom culture, when we are living according to His Word, there should be no sickness and no lack. You don't need a famous minister, your power comes through Jesus: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14
I want to encourage you today to get filled with the Word, and tune your ear to the leading of the Holy Spirit and you will not fall prey to a false kingdom doctrine. It has surprised and greatly saddened me that many are being deceived. But Jesus warned of this long ago. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Matthew 24:24
It doesn't matter if you believe me. What matters is that you dig in and study for yourself. Get those four Gospels down in your spirit. Then when some 'wind of doctrine' about the kingdom or kingdom culture comes your way, you will measure it against the knowledge of the Kingdom that is within you! ...that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting... Ephesians 4:14
Be full of the Word and you will never be deceived! Be armed and dangerous, unshakable! Maintain your Kingdom focus! Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.~~ ~Ephesians 6:11
You are blessed,
Arlene
