Life Beyond the Door of the Kingdom

As I have mentioned so many times, many believers get completely fixated on Jesus the Christ as Savior and being "born again" that as soon as they are inside the Kingdom, they start camping on the doorsteps and never go any farther; and they experience very little else. Remember, Jesus the Christ is the doorway to the kingdom, but believe me when I say this, there is more riches that await inside. Jesus Himself made this statement very clearly when He said:
Constitutional Scripture: John 10: 7-10 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
In the sheep pen, the shepherd functioned as a gate, letting the sheep in and protecting them. Jesus is the gate to God's salvation for us human beings. He offers access to safety and security, but in His Kingdom all of our needs are met. Keep this in mind, it is faith in Him that unleashes it.
Focus Point: You accept Jesus the Christ, but you must seek His Kingdom. This means, get in line with His Word.
Constitutional Scripture: Matthew 6:33 But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Please note: In order for you to truly understand God's Constitution, you must embrace the Kingdom concept. Only then will you know how to apply the Word in your life.
Keep in mind what our Kingdom inheritance is all about, and it begins with Jesus the Christ. But it surely does not end at the door. Remember this one thing, life is truly a journey and that life in the Kingdom will require that you move beyond your original experiences with God and mature and grow as a true son of the Kingdom.
Now claiming our inheritance is not about joining a particular church, denomination or religion. In fact, it has nothing to do with being "religious". It has everything to do with understanding that we are citizens of the kingdom, established and ruled by God, which will endure forever.
Keep in mind, as a Kingdom Citizen, we have legal rights to our government. The reason so many of us receive so little from God is because we do not recognize ourselves as citizens, and therefore lack the confidence or boldness to ask the King. Kingdom citizenship is a spiritual reality, but it is also a mentality.
Now, as believers, we already have the Spirit of God, because of our obedience to His Word, but we need to learn the mind and the heart of God. We need training in thinking and living as God's children. If you may or may not have noticed, I stated children, not servants.
My final word to you on this is to embrace the concept of the Kingdom.
