Kingdom Protection, Wisdom and Authority
He gives us Kingdom Protection The Lord God uses His angels to protect His citizens (people). Angels are His servants. Angels are His army. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. Psalm 91:9-12 Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out His plans, listening for each of His commands. Psalm 103:20 For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. Psalm 91:11 Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus. Matthew 4:11 And He will send out His angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather His chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven. Matthew 24:31 The angels are His servants and protection. The traitor, Judas, had given them a prearranged signal: “You will know which one to arrest when I greet Him with a kiss.” So Judas came straight to Jesus. “Greetings, Rabbi!” he exclaimed and gave him the kiss.
Jesus said, “My friend, go ahead and do what you have come for.”
Then the others grabbed Jesus and arrested Him. But one of the men with Jesus pulled out his sword and struck the high priest’s slave, slashing off his ear.
“Put away your sword,” Jesus told him. “Those who use the sword will die by the sword. Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and He would send them instantly? Matthew 26:48-53
He gives us Kingdom Wisdom. Our King has established a teacher that educates His citizens, through God's Word. We are only to listen and be led by the Holy Spirit. You could call it "on the job training"! I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. But when the Father sends the Advocate as My representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. John 14:26 If you are in the world, and worldly minded, you cannot recognize Him. Jesus gave this profound statement to His disciples: “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you." John 14:15-17
He give us His Kingdom Authority The leader of a kingdom establishes a representative system that delegates responsibility citizens He has appointed to serve as ambassadors of the kingdom. An ambassador personifies and represents the king's principles, authority, and the kingdom. A Kingdom ambassador represents the Kingdom of God and doesn't concern themselves with their personal needs or opinions. The primary purpose is to represent the interest of the King and His Kingdom. He doesn't ask us to do this within our own power, He has given us the Holy Spirit. We become Spirit-filled ambassadors for the Kingdom of God. Just as You sent Me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give Myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. . . Again He said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so I am sending you.” Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit." John 17:18-19; 20:21-22
An ambassador speaks for his Kingdom government. He does not represent himself, only his Kingdom government. He is the Kingdom representative, reflecting the will, desires and purpose of the Kingdom in the foreign territory to which he or she is assigned. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation*. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19-21 And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:17
