Kingdom Perspective: The Eternal Message Pt 1
King Jesus came to this world to redeem mankind back to His Father God. He was the One through which all mankind could be saved from eternal damnation. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17 NKJV
Please understand, when the Lord God sent His Son to this dying world, it was the final chance for all mankind to be redeemed back to the Father God. The Lord Jesus gave an example of the Kingdom through a parable concerning the wicked farmer: “Now listen to another story. A certain landowner planted a vineyard, built a wall around it, dug a pit for pressing out the grape juice, and built a lookout tower. Then he leased the vineyard to tenant farmers and moved to another country. At the time of the grape harvest, he sent his servants to collect his share of the crop. But the farmers grabbed his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. So the landowner sent a larger group of his servants to collect for him, but the results were the same.
“Finally, the owner sent his son, thinking, ‘Surely they will respect my son.’
“But when the tenant farmers saw his son coming, they said to one another, ‘Here comes the heir to this estate. Come on, let’s kill him and get the estate for ourselves!’ 39 So they grabbed him, dragged him out of the vineyard, and murdered him.
“When the owner of the vineyard returns,” Jesus asked, “what do you think he will do to those farmers?”
The religious leaders replied, “He will put the wicked men to a horrible death and lease the vineyard to others who will give him his share of the crop after each harvest.”
Then Jesus asked them, “Didn’t you ever read this in the Scriptures? ‘The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see.’
I tell you, the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that will produce the proper fruit. Anyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on.”
When the leading priests and Pharisees heard this parable, they realized He was telling the story against them—they were the wicked farmers. They wanted to arrest Him, but they were afraid of the crowds, who considered Jesus to be a prophet. Matthew 21:33-46
Keep in mind; even though He was speaking to the religious leaders of that day, the same applies today. Also, there are many religious people and religious leaders that hold their color—which they call their race—above all else. Nothing should be placed above God and His Word. Religion has nothing whatsoever to do with the Kingdom government, even if they have similar standards and beliefs.
The Lord Jesus had a Kingdom government perspective. He made that quite clear in His introduction to all mankind. When Jesus heard that John had been arrested, He left Judea and returned to Galilee. He went first to Nazareth, then left there and moved to Capernaum, beside the Sea of Galilee, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. This fulfilled what God said through the prophet Isaiah: “In the land of Zebulun and of Naphtali, beside the sea, beyond the Jordan River, in Galilee where so many Gentiles live, the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light. And for those who lived in the land where death casts its shadow, a light has shined.” From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” Matthew 4:12-17 Notice that while John was in the wilderness, he was on the same page as His cousin, King Jesus, in his message. In those days John the Baptist came to the Judean wilderness and began preaching. His message was, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.” The prophet Isaiah was speaking about John when he said, “He is a voice shouting in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord’s coming! Clear the road for Him!’” Matthew 3:1-3 There was no confusion or difference of opinion between John the Baptist and King Jesus. That was because one was filled with the Holy Spirit and the other had the Holy Spirit residing on Him. I love the fact that both of them knew their purpose for being here in this world.
Hearing the message of the Kingdom government or the Kingdom Gospel is very important to your citizenship in the Kingdom of the Lord God. But keeping it as a lifestyle is the most important thing. Read what our King stated to the woman who called out to Him in the crowd. As He was speaking, a woman in the crowd called out, “God bless Your mother—the womb from which You came, and the breasts that nursed You!”
Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” Luke 11:27-28 These scriptures bring home two important principles: Mankind should never be exalted above God or His Word (not even the natural mother of Jesus), and obeying and living by God’s Word is most important of all! Heaven and earth will disappear, but My Words will never disappear. Mark 13:31 Jesus was speaking of His return back to this earth when He said those words. For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. Watch out! I have warned you about this ahead of time!
At that time, after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with great power and glory. And He will send out His angels to gather His chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.
Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that His return is very near, right at the door. I tell you the truth; this generation will not pass from the scene before all these things take place. Mark 13:22-30
Anytime you read and study the Lord God’s Constitution, you are feeding your spirit. That spirit is the real you, the “you” known to God. It is eternal. “You” are not your body; “you” are your spirit! Your spirit needs to be fed just as your physical body needs to be fed!
Keep in mind; many of His disciples deserted Him when He made His the statement concerning His flesh: “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life! Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, but they all died. Anyone who eats the bread from heaven, however, will never die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is My flesh.”
Then the people began arguing with each other about what He meant. “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” they asked.
So Jesus said again, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you cannot have eternal life within you. But anyone who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. Anyone who eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. I live because of the living Father who sent Me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on Me will live because of Me. I am the true bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will not die as your ancestors did (even though they ate the manna) but will live forever.” John 6:47-58 Remember, these were His own people, the Jews. Yet they did not understand and could not accept what He was saying concerning eating His flesh and drinking His blood. They were taking Him literally. Briefly, we must remember that King Jesus IS the Word made flesh. In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. John 1:1 AMP
It is by receiving His blood sacrifice that we are saved. It is by receiving His blood that we are healed. We are made whole through the blood of Jesus. We are purified and washed clean by the blood of Jesus. Yes, receive and feast on His Word and His blood; for it is the gift of eternal life with Him!
Remember your faith in His Word is your most valuable asset in the Kingdom!
