When the Lord God created you, He created you for a mission. You were born with the purpose of pleasing Him. The mission the Lord Jesus sent the disciples on was to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom. These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.
“Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city! Notice that He instructed them what to preach (the Kingdom) and what to do. Their mission was very specific. He also told them who not to go to (the Gentile). When you are a Kingdom Citizen, your mission, not your purpose, is to influence others to embrace the Kingdom government. That is why the Lord Jesus made this statement: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Your life is to be so saturated with the Kingdom message, that when others approach you, they can feel a peculiar presence that emanates from your behavior. That presence is the governor (the Holy Spirit). Remember your purpose is to always please Him, not your selfish desires.
Kingdom living comes through reading, studying, the guidance of the Governor (the Holy Spirit) and putting into action what you have learned. The word Bible is a man-made term, not one that the Lord Jesus nor his disciples used. You have to be very careful of the terms that you use, because many religious individuals have taken them into their religious organizations, leading to a religious mindset. The Lord Jesus always spoke about the Kingdom of His Father, never about any religion. However, many religious leaders have spread their influence around this planet through denominations and organizations. Different titles, different bylaws but same spirit. They have embraced some of the Lord God's Constitution in their religion. But you will never find any references in the Lord God's Constitution as the Bible. That is a religious term that comes from religious leaders.
Remember when you embrace His Word, you are embracing the Lord Jesus the Christ. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Your behavior is to influence others to embrace the Kingdom concept as well as His message. It has nothing to do with what religious organization you attend, or what denomination you are a member of. It is all about Him (the King) and your faith in His written Word.
When the Lord Jesus called the persecutor Saul, on the road to Damascus, He had already laid out his mission. But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.” Be aware that when the Lord has a mission for you, no one can stop you until you have finished what the King has assigned to you. The ambassador Paul made that very clear in his life. But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand. So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.” But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god. When you are on His mission and in your purpose, nothing can stop you. By the way, your purpose is to be obedient to His Word, not for your own selfish goals and ambitions.
Have you read the Lord God's Constitution all the way through, on a consistent basis? If not, do so; because it is about influence. The evil one used a serpent to influence Eve to disobey her husband. Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. The Lord God gave the command to man (Adam). Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” He never gave the command to Eve, but to Adam. Why? Man was to lead and teach. He was to influence those around him (his family). His influence was to always lead others to the Kingdom and its principles and laws. That is Kingdom influence and Kingdom living.
