He designed and built her in love and with particular care and purpose. I see this every time I see and hear my wife Arlene. Her uniqueness is a reflection of the Lord God’s purpose and design for her.
Please realize that the woman was the Lord God’s idea. Women don’t understand how special they are! Man hadn’t even imagined the woman but the Creator had her particularly in mind. And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Genesis 2:18
Keep in mind, a woman is a product of the Lord God, that makes her His “property”. That said, it means that when you handle her, you are handling God’s property. If you curse and berate her, you are cursing His creation…His property. So you are cursing Him also. If you hurt her, you are hurting His property. If we could see people as “God’s property” I believe we would be much kinder and show more mercy and care!
Women, keep in mind, no matter what some men may say or think about you, or even what you may think about yourself, you are the Lord God’s idea. It was the Lord God’s Spirit that brought you into being. What I discovered is that a woman is unique because she has a spirit inside, just like man. The same, but different! Different to fulfill different assignments and purpose. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:26-28
God created mankind in His image. Then created woman out of the man, so together, they are the image of God! This makes her a free and responsible spiritual being. Spiritually, men and women are equal; they have the same spirit man within them. The Lord called them all His sons—children—with no division of male or female. Beyond male or female, we are His children…His heirs! For you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union with the Christ, the Anointed] have clothed yourselves with Christ [that is, you have taken on His characteristics and values]. There is [now no distinction in regard to salvation] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you [who believe] are all one in Christ Jesus [no one can claim a spiritual superiority]. Galatians 3:26-28 AMP
Remember that the Lord created the woman from man. It was His idea to do such a thing. There was a purpose for doing it that way. He could have picked up clay and created woman as He did man. But He brought the female out of the male! They were created to be one!
I love what ambassador Peter states in God’s Constitution: Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. This is how the holy women of old made themselves beautiful. They put their trust in God and accepted the authority of their husbands. 1 Peter 3:3-5 NLT
He makes the statement that a woman’s true beauty is her inner self. This is what I see in my wife Arlene, every day I see her. She reminds me who she is in the Kingdom. It radiates from her. She exudes God’s Kingdom in her words and actions. A woman’s physical self may be very different from what she is spiritually…her inner self, or her true self. A Kingdom man, filled with the Lord God’s Holy Spirit, sees this in his wife. The same Holy Spirit dwells in us, whether we are male or female. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 In Him we have abundant life!
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24 Woman came from man. This is why a woman can preach, not because she is a female, but because she has the same Spirit living in her. My wife Arlene preaches to me to inform and advise. She imparts wisdom into my life and I am better for it. She is a great help to me. Most husbands forget that a spirit-man resides in their wife. When you have offended the Spirit that resides in your wife, you have offended the Lord God. When a husband or man states “I don’t like your moods” as I have done in the past, he should remember to whom he is speaking! God’s Spirit is inside that precious body.
One reason the Lord tells us not to go to sleep without resolving our anger is that it is very important to treat those who have been created in the image of the Lord God well. Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Ephesians 4:25-27 Holding on to anger and unforgiveness and anger gives the devil a “place” and stronghold for the devil. When a husband walks around with anger toward his wife because she didn’t respond as he wanted her to, he should pray because he is dealing with the spirit, not the physical.
Remember that a husband should deal with his wife very delicately and kindly. If he doesn’t, the Lord says that his prayers won’t be answered. In the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way [with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the marriage relationship], as with someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered or ineffective. 1 Peter 3:7 AMP
Men, are your prayers being answered?
Remember, your faith is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.
