Most people who have a religious mindset fail to read and study the Lord God's Constitution. The Lord Jesus made this statement: If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. In order for you to know His Word (God's Constitution), you must take time with Him and read as well as study it. The Lord Jesus even told us who the Counselor is: He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. If you truly love the Lord God, first and foremost you must accept His Son. You must hear Him! Do you recall what the Lord God stated to Peter, James and John on the mountain with the Lord Jesus...and also what Peter said? Six days later Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain to be alone. As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was transformed so that his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light. Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with Jesus.
Peter exclaimed, “Lord, it’s wonderful for us to be here! If you want, I’ll make three shelters as memorials—one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to Him.” The disciples were terrified and fell face down on the ground.
Then Jesus came over and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” And when they looked up, Moses and Elijah were gone, and they saw only Jesus.
The statement that the Lord Jesus made to the disciples applies to all of us. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Sadly, far too many church-going people are too lazy and "busy" to pick up the Constitution of the Lord God and read it for themselves. Do you remember back in history, when the Catholic church told their people what their Bibles said and refused them access to a Bible? They even performed mass in Latin. The same type of thing is happening now with religious people who refuse to read and study His Word. The religious leaders of today are leading people into their way of thinking; using some of the Kingdom principles to convince them. They make it hard for the people to embrace the Kingdom that they refuse to enter. That usually adds up to money in their pockets. This is what the Lord Jesus said about religious leaders: What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter either. What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are! The same is true today. Study those you choose to follow, their lifestyles and their words. Read God's Constitution and listen to the Holy Spirit. Does it line up with God's Constitution or is it self-serving?
Here is a "spoiler alert": 1. Every time God's Constitution talks about seed, it isn't talking about giving money. 2. Giving money to the church or the minister won't make you wealthy. 3. God's Word promises that all our NEEDS will be met if we seek the Kingdom and His righteousness. No one NEEDS mansions, luxury cars or a Rolex watch. That is a perverted gospel.
Our responsibility as Kingdom citizens is to study, preach and teach the principles of our Kingdom government. Our behavior in everyday life should reflect this on a constant basis. We are not to preach hell and damnation. Remember, the King came to restore mankind back to His Father. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. That will come at a later time. The Lord Jesus made this statement: ...so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. What you do when you think no one is around will come to the light of others in due time.
Yes, Kingdom living isn't complicated and it isn't as hard to grasp as a mist. Read God's Word. Start with the four Gospels. Listen to the Holy Spirit. Be obedient to His Word and love Him. If you love Him, keep His Commandments. And remember, have faith! It is your greatest asset in the Kingdom. Simple & uncomplicated. It is only man and religion who make it complicated. Let it all go.
