A crisis has a way of revealing the strength of our faith! We are living in trying times. The devil comes to destroy your faith in the King. He knows if he destroys your faith in the Lord Jesus, he can destroy you. Keep in mind that your faith is how you live as a Kingdom citizen. Remember what ambassador Peter stated in God’s Constitution: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 The operative word is like because the devil knows he is already defeated. He is not a roaring lion. He is a pretender and the truth is nowhere in him!
Once again I state, the devil isn’t after your finances, he is not after your children, job or even your family. He is after your faith in the Lord Jesus. If he can destroy that, he wins. All those other things are tools that he will use to hinder and destroy your faith. He wants you to curse God and turn your back on Him. The devil knows if he can steal your faith, you will be spiritually bankrupt. It has been stated “the poorest person on earth is the person without faith”.
Your faith is the currency of the Kingdom. Keep in mind that currency is necessary for any quality of life in any nation or country. The amount of currency you have determines how much you can accomplish in a society. So what am I saying? Faith is the currency of the Kingdom of the Lord God. Without faith in the King, you get nothing and He will do nothing. We are powerless in God’s Kingdom without faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen…But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:1 & 6
Everything in the Kingdom is received by faith. This is a critical concept. Without currency—faith—we cannot do one thing without it. Remember, every country has a constitution. In God’s Kingdom, it is the Bible. A constitution contains the precepts by which the country operates.
In order for citizens of a country to fully enjoy the functions of a country effectively, it is important that they understand their nation’s laws and how they work. In the Kingdom of the Lord God, faith activates the laws. That is why there aren’t any “illegals” in the Kingdom. You must first believe in the Lord Jesus as your Savior. He is our entrance into God’s Kingdom. And this is His commandment: We must believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us. Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with Him, and He with them. And we know He lives in us because the Spirit He gave us lives in us. 1 John 3:23-24 NLT
Also, keep in mind; if you do not believe in His Son, you are not a citizen of God’s Kingdom. Believe only in His Son so that you may approach the Father. Do you recall what the Lord Jesus stated? Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
I do believe there are many who do not truly understand faith. The word faith is used to describe many concepts in this world. For example, “the faith” usually refers to a formal set of beliefs or an established religion such as “the Christian faith”, “Muslim faith” or “Jewish faith”. Some use the term “keep the faith”, which means to hold firmly to your belief system or religious commitment. Finally, the term “faith movement” refers to a belief system that magnifies the power or belief to the status of a doctrine. Now all of these are legitimate expressions that serve to define people and their experiences. But keep in mind, it is not Kingdom faith.
True faith is trusting the King before you see anything happen. True faith is not blown away or shaken even when what we see in the natural does not agree with that faith. But when you ask Him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do. James 1:6-8 NLT
Trust the Lord God, no matter how things look at the moment. Remember: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3
If you can see it or you can figure out how to make it happen, it doesn’t take Kingdom faith to come to pass. Believe Him for what only He can do in your situation! Do not doubt and do not lose faith because it isn’t happening on your timetable. We are always in a hurry, but the Lord God’s timing is perfect. But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people think. 2 Peter 8-9a NLT
Have faith in Father God!
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth. It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:8-11
Remember, your faith in the King is your greatest asset in the Kingdom.
