The right people are a blessing from the Father!
Life in God's Kingdom should be filled with His peace. When you are at peace with what is happening in your life, you can trust the Lord God to lead the right people to your life and correct opportunities your way. You will even find miracles, as people call them, are more abundant when you stop trying to do everything in your own strength. "Miracles" are part of normal life in God's Kingdom government. When we always strive to make things happen in our own will and strength, we become stressed and anxious. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
People are drawn to you because they are being drawn to the Lord God your King through you. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:14 Then Moses said to the Lord, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.”
And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:12-16
Keep in mind that your life should stand out because the Lord God your King, through His Holy Spirit—not for what you have or what you may do. When He is with you, people are drawn to you without even knowing why. They know something is different, but don't know what. His Presence with you is what makes the difference. They are drawn by His Spirit. Keep in mind also that the opposite is also possible. Some may be drawn by what you do and God's blessing on your life. In other words, some are carnally led and others are spiritually led. That is where discernment is vital. Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.
But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of Truth or the spirit of deception. 1 John 4:1-6 NLT
Also, living consistently in His enduring Presence, He will clean your spiritual house—mind, will and emotions—so that people who aren't supposed to be in your life will leave. Not because of anything you may have said or done, but spiritually they become "uncomfortable". It is good to realize what is happening. It is a blessing! I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Galatians 5:16-17
Now, what are the Lord God's blessings and how do you know when you have received them? To receive the blessing of the Lord is to receive anything and everything you need to fulfill your life and His purpose. My wife Arlene and I are experiencing this fulfillment in our life as I speak. We do not have wealth or fame but our needs are always met in His Kingdom! Praise His Holy name! Praise is awaiting You, O God, in Zion; And to You the vow shall be performed. O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come. Iniquities prevail against me; As for our transgressions, You will provide atonement for them. Blessed is the man You choose, and cause to approach You, that he may dwell in Your courts. We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple. Psalm 65:1-4
Keep in mind that you are His temple now, not a brick and mortar building. As ambassador Paul wrote: Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
There are many who are tempted to think that the good things of the Lord God's house are material things. Keep in mind that God may certainly bless you with prosperity, but His greatest blessings are His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:22-25 NLT
Now, dear brothers and sisters, regarding your question about the special abilities the Spirit gives us. I don’t want you to misunderstand this. You know that when you were still pagans, you were led astray and swept along in worshiping speechless idols. So I want you to know that no one speaking by the Spirit of God will curse Jesus, and no one can say Jesus is Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.
There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11 NLT These are the greatest blessings from the Lord God because they are His very character!
Transformation into the Lord God's character is a humbling experience, I must say. My wife Arlene is my witness. If you knew me "when" you would say so also. When you experience the goodness of God and His mercy in your life, you start to look and act as He does. You begin to pursue His purpose and assignment for your life. This naturally happens when He is truly Lord and King of your life and you are His Kingdom territory! As King David testified: Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24:3-5
Remember, your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in His Kingdom.
