Jesus turned around, and when he saw her he said, “Daughter, be encouraged! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was healed at that moment. Total faith in the King will bring the dead things back to life. As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.” So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him.
When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. “Get out!” he told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at him. After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up! The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside.
For many of us that will be a process. Longer than others, for some. But have no doubts, your faith is the key to operating in the Kingdom of God. Many of us are filled with religious concepts and beliefs, which hinder our faith. We have to be detoxed from that wrong thinking, a religious mindset. Ambassador Paul said it clearly here: And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Faith and fear cannot operate in the same space at the same time. In order for it to work effectively you must totally focus on Him and His Word. By that I mean learning to totally trust in His Son, the Lord Jesus. He is the one who gave His life for us. He is the Son of God and sits at the right hand of His Father, interceding on our behalf. How could we not have faith?! He left us the Holy Spirit as our helper and assistant in this three-dimensional world. If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.
It's about time that we leave religion and all it's traditions and customs behind and embrace the One and only King of the Kingdom. We should be the boldest, most powerful people on this earth. If we truly knew who we are we would be! Satan wants to keep us weak, fearful and uncertain of who we really are.
Those who claim to believe in the name of our King should behave like it and stop depending on guns and other ways to protect themselves. Where is your faith? There is no power in their lives. Read what the Lord Jesus asked Peter when they got into the boat: Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”
“Yes, come,” Jesus said.
So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.
Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?”
When they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped.
Keep in mind, the King told Him to come on the water. Peter failed to embrace who He was. Do you remember what the Lord Jesus stated when He cursed the fig tree? The disciples were astonished at the quick reaction of the fig tree. In the morning, as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem, he was hungry, and he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up.
The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”
Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” That fig was supposed to have figs in that season, but none were found! Your faith in the King should always stand out among others. Not faith in a religion or a ministry, but your faith in King Jesus and His Word. If you have Him, allow the Governor (the Holy Spirit) to teach and guide you. He won't make you serve Him. He wants you to choose Him. Remember if you are fearful, your faith in the Lord Jesus is lacking.
