Kingdom 104: Masculine-Minded Men of the Kingdom Government Pt 1
When the Lord Jesus was choosing His disciples, He chose twelve men. He did not choose a woman. Women were instrumental in His ministry, but not as His closest leaders. That is because God created the man first with the authority to lead and take responsibility for his assignment. Man was given the job to "take dominion" over his environment. In the Kingdom God always assigned a man to lea His people. He never assigned a man that was subject to his wife or concubine (a woman who lives with a man as though they are husband and wife, although not legally married to him. There is a lot of that going on here in the United States today).
Have you noticed, as you watch television and movies, that many of the commercials are geared to making fools out of the husband or man of the house? They are the butt of the jokes. Even though many of us may think it is humorous, it is sending a discouraging message to our families. That Jezebel spirit is neutering the males of this age of their masculinity.
A man that has his foundation in God's Constitution is a man with a masculine-thinking mind. He is the man that hears the Word and applies it to his lifestyle. He is the man that embraces the Kingdom message with all his being. It is the man who rejects the world and everything that is contrary to the Word of God.
“Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Men aren't just masculine physically, but also in their thinking. Their thinking is what causes their behavior. God created a Kingdom-thinking man. A man that is masculine in his conduct and his thinking. A Kingdom-thinking man is never controlled by religious thinking or any organization. He is guided by the Holy Spirit (the Governor). The Holy Spirit is his guide, assisting and guiding, in this present world. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. A masculine-thinking Kingdom man knows when to speak and how to speak, because he is guided by the Governor (the Holy Spirit). He isn't reluctant to speak up in defense of the poor and downtrodden. He cares nothing of people's opinion, only of his Father's approval. He isn't reluctant to stand up for what is right because he knows he is standing on Kingdom principles. He knows that his King's Spirit lives in his mortal body. Death for him is only permitted through the Will of the King. To him, death is a promotion. Anyone who is afraid to die isn't made perfect in love. The ambassador Paul made it very clear: So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
A masculine-thinking man lives by his faith in God's Word. He has a quiet confidence in it. He knows his responsibility to his wife and family. He speaks to others with authority, but never bullies. He does not speak or sound like a woman. He encourages other men to be what God created them to be--a masculine-thinking man and leader! He doesn't back down in times of challenges. He speaks his mind as the Holy Spirit leads him. He sees the hard thing that needs to be done and does it without complaining.
When you are a man of masculinity you listen and follow God's guidance and leadership first and foremost. The Lord God will give you your assignment. The Lord picks His leaders carefully with instructions. After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
The Lord never picked homosexual or weak men to lead His people. God doesn't contradict Himself. He won't use anyone who is living contrary to His Word without them first being delivered from their iniquity through Jesus Christ and transformed by His Word. When a Kingdom-minded person, who is filled with the Holy Spirit, comes upon any situation he is brave and courageous because he knows he is abiding in the Word of God.
Remember, your faith in the Lord Jesus is your greatest asset, now and for eternity.
