Kingdom 104: His Law, the Source of All His Principles and Truth

Kingdom principles are of most importance in terms of the Kingdom of the living God. So what is a principle?
1) It is an accepted or professed rule of action or conduct. An example is a person of good moral principles. 2) It is a fundamental, primary or general law or truth.
When the Lord Jesus was praying to His Father, He made this statement regarding those He was praying for. I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Allow me to share this truth with you. All Kingdom principles are the result of the laws given by the King. In other words, they are eternal. Whenever you embrace the laws of the Kingdom, you will develop certain principles that stem from those laws. Those principles will cause you to live a certain way, or develop a certain type of behavior. In other words, your lifestyle will definitely change and line up with those principles.
In most countries, there are laws and traditions. It is those laws that the people use to develop principles and a standard for living, only if the people abide by the laws of that country. Laws give you guidelines and borders. Through them you develop a standard of living with self-control.
On several occasions the Lord Jesus referred to the law. "You have heard the commandment that says, ‘You must not commit adultery.’ But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So if your eye—even your good eye—causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your hand—even your stronger hand—causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell." The King was informing us of principles that we should live by. By the way, because the King stated these principles, they were laws to be governed by. Again He quoted a phrase from another law. “You have heard the law that says, ‘A man can divorce his wife by merely giving her a written notice of divorce.’ But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery." Remember, when a king speaks, his words are law. In this case, they are laws and principles to govern your life by. These are words of Truth. The question arises, What is truth? In the Lord's prayer to His Father concerning His disciples, He said, "They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth." The Lord Jesus was refining His laws through His principles. One more principle of the Kingdom, I will share with you. “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect."
Keep in mind that laws are the source of all principles and when a king speaks those principles are laws within themselves. Base your behavior on those laws and principles, build your self-control and live a victorious Kingdom life!
And always remember, your faith in the King's Word is your strong foundation for living.
