Kingdom 104: Christianity Misrepresents the Kingdom Pt 1
Jesus came to spread the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Jesus never came to add another religion called Christianity. Another religion in this world only adds to the chaos and misdirection that is already here. Notice, religion brings with it greed, denominations (which means separation--division), customs, traditions and many alliances to different leaders. It divides, and does not unite. Some religions will kill you and your family if you refuse to serve their god, which is no god. Are you aware that many individuals were killed back in the time of the crusades, by people who claimed to be followers of King Jesus? Those people operated out of ignorance of God's Constitution (the Bible). That was because the religious institutions wouldn't allow the common man to read the Bible. That religious institution was known as the Catholic church. The people at that time called themselves Christians. As it was then, it was all about membership. If anyone didn't conduct themselves according to the religious customs and traditions, they were put out of the church, or in some cases, actually killed as punishment. That was clearly a misrepresentation of the Kingdom of God.
There are many religious people as well as leaders who claim to know the King, but really don't have a clue. The ambassador Paul made it very clear in his letter to ambassador Titus. To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
"To the pure, all things are pure" Those of you who have embraced the Kingdom concept (which the Lord Jesus presented to the world) and have been purified by His Word and filled with His Spirit, everything that god has created is good. Ambassador Paul made it very plain in his letter to Timothy: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. Notice that Paul stated all foods are good to eat, if received with thanksgiving. Religions say you can't eat certain foods. In the Kingdom, if received with giving thanks to the Father, all food is good for consumption. Remember, you only owe your loyalty to the King. Remember what Jesus stated to the governor Pilate when He was on trial. Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” This is the reason we should never fear for our life. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
Our aim as citizens of the Kingdom is to always please the King. That is our first priority...not a denomination, a religion nor to a religious leader; but to Christ alone. If the Lord God's Spirit lives in your mortal body, then you shouldn't have a problem with that.
Remember always, your faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ is your greatest asset and foundation in this present world.
