Kingdom 103: The King's Will and the King's Word
While the Lord Jesus was here on earth, He made this statement concerning His Father's will: "...And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” What Jesus spoke was for then and for now. In other words, it was twofold:
1. Everyone who see and believes, they would be received; 2. And for the present day, all that believe in the Lord Jesus the Christ will have everlasting life. Remember, the Lord God always keeps His Word, because His Word is eternal. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Please note the Words of the King: "...that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
In order for you to know the Will of God, you must stay in His Constitution; then allow the Holy Spirit (the Governor) to lead and guide you. By the way, I am a witness to that guidance of the Governor. In essence, I am a recipient of His leading and guidance and you should be too. You should never put anyone or anything above the Word. The Word will cleanse you from all unrighteousness. The Lord Jesus made this statement. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
Now, knowing the will of God is listening and being obedient to His Word. It's not praying or attending some religious "church" service. The Lord Jesus made this statement when a woman made a statement concerning His mother. And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!” But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” In religion, many hold up Mary as someone special. At the time of His birth, she was. She was the incubator (the container) who was to carry Christ's physical body until His birth. That was her assignment. Two things Mary had in her favor. She was a virgin. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. God's Word is eternal. And her assignment was prophesied through the prophet Isaiah. Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. The representative Isaiah was His vessel to speak to God's people.
Keep in mind, the Lord Jesus made this statement to all mankind. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. Religious people esteem Mary, the mother of Jesus, to be honor. That isn't the situation in the Kingdom. There is only one to be honored in the Kingdom. The King.
Remember what the Lord promised to those who believe in Him and those who failed to believe in Him. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” Keep this in mind: The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We operate in the space of time, the Lord God operates in eternity. We must embrace that fact. Whatever He promised you, He will deliver.
Remember, you foundation for eternity, is your faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ.
John 6:40; 1:1; 3:15; 15:3 Luke 11:27-28 Isaiah 7:14 Mark 13:33 John 3:36
