Kingdom 103: The Holy Spirit is Your Teacher and Guide
By believing in the Lord Jesus and embracing and obeying His Father's Kingdom message, you become a candidate for the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit belongs to all those who obey His Word. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever" The Holy Spirit will be with you forever. But if you love the world system and embrace it, you can not receive Him. ...the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. Notice Jesus said "Him" not "it". The Holy Spirit (the Governor) isn't an "it" or a "she". Again, without the Holy Spirit dwelling in your mortal body, you are just a member of a religious organization which many call a church.
The Lord Jesus made it quite clear: you must love Him and if you love Him, you will obey Him and His message. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. Have you noticed, it becomes a family affair? My Father will love him and We will come to him. Hold this thought close to your heart: The Holy Spirit (the Governor) is the only one who can reconnect us to original information (revelation knowledge) about the King and His Kingdom. He protects us from error and from other's opinions that are not according to the mind of the King. He is our guiding light from within.
Those who are having difficulty understanding the Kingdom concept and the King's message need to submit themselves to the Spirit of God. Do you recall what King Jesus said while He was speaking to the religious ruler Nicodemus? Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Now, remember this one thing: Earth is a colony of heaven. One of the responsibilities of the Holy Spirit (the Governor) is to interpret for it's citizens what the sovereign God means in His written Word. We do not need other people's opinion concerning the Lord's written Word. We need to surrender our will to His will. Ambassador Paul made this clear when he spoke to the believers in Ephesus. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. It is vital for us to surrender our will to the Lord Jesus and submit to the Governor's Will. That is why Jesus sent Him to us.
