Kingdom 103: The Division of Mankind
Many times I hear the word "race" in a dividing and deceptive term. What do I mean by that statement? Here are some examples: Black race...Hispanic race...Asian race...Italian race, etc. In God's Constitution the word race is referring to an athlete running. It is a verb, not a noun. One other time, was in the book of Zechariah “A mixed race shall settle in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines." He was speaking through Zechariah, His representative. These are the only times that you will find the word race in God's Constitution (the Bible). You won't find race as a dividing of mankind or the human race. Mankind is divided by language. Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
The devil and his spiritual forces have deceived mankind into accepting that this world is made up of many races. The truth is, there is only ONE race of many colors and languages.
When the Lord God decided to separate the people at the Tower of Babel, He achieved this by giving the people different languages...definitely not by the color tone of their skin. God is the God of all mankind and mankind has many languages and many colors. Having said that, why does this world system continue to separate people by races? The answer is, it is a deception by the god of this world (the devil) to separate mankind. Divide and conquer. In some countries around the world, there are those who think their fair skin gives them special privileges. They think that God made them better than those with skin of a darker color. They are being deceived and have believed a lie.
When the Lord Jesus came to earth to restore the Kingdom of God within mankind, His one and only condition was to believe in the One the Lord God (His Father) sent. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Notice the last phrase: "that the world through Him might be saved" In other words, only through the Lord Jesus can one hope of being a Kingdom citizen. He didn't name any particular color or language, but those of us who can believe in His Son Jesus the Christ. Is the color of one's skin important in the Kingdom? Is the language that an individual speaks important in the Kingdom? Of course not! The Kingdom is for your eternal spirit, not the mortal body housing that spirit! There is no division in Kingdom minded people. But in those who are of a religious mindset, there is division, chaos, tradition and many allegiances. In the mindset of every Kingdom citizen there is only one allegiance and that is to His Word.
Remember, your greatest asset in the Kingdom is your faith in His Word.
