Kingdom 103: Student or Disciple of the Kingdom Pt 2

One of the main reasons we must constantly stay focused in the Word is because there is so much misinformation that will lead you away from your purpose. The freest people on earth are those who read and study the Lord God's Constitution. They are the ones seeking the Kingdom. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. They are the ones who have only one allegiance and that is to King Jesus. They are the ones who embrace the Word and the Kingdom concept. Read what the Lord Jesus stated concerning His Word: Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
Here are several things to make note of:
1. The Word was made flesh. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. He began to teach and spread the Gospel of the Kingdom. The Gospel begins with Jesus, the incarnate Word in the flesh. You cannot say God until you first say Jesus, for the Lord Jesus puts character and content into God. His own character and content, which is the Word. You cannot say Christ, the Kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit until you have first called on the name of Jesus; for Jesus puts His own character and content in all of these. Remember what the Lord God stated to Peter, James and John on the mountain during the time the Father spoke on the behavior of His Son. Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” Remember, the Gospel of the Kingdom is in the Lord Jesus. He didn't merely bring the message of the Kingdom, He was the Good News of the Kingdom message.
2. The Word became deeds. Now what do I mean by that? Jesus both exemplified and taught the Kingdom message. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. The Word was a deed before it was an exposition. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Therefore it wasn't a philosophy or a moralism. It was a fact, a deed. It was alive, vital not verbal. His Words were an expounding of what He was already demonstrating. His deeds became Words. His Words became deeds, and coming together with what He was, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
3. Jesus, after His death, became atonement. In essence, believing and honoring the King and obeying His Word is our salvation. The Lord Jesus is the Word manifested in the flesh. By the way, He is alive and well, sitting on the right hand of the Father, interceding on our behalf. Jesus made it very clear while speaking to the religious leaders. As soon as it was day, the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying, “If You are the Christ, tell us.”
But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will by no means believe. And if I also ask you, you will by no means answer Me or let Me go. Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God.”
4. Jesus, over a period of forty days taught His disciples about the Kingdom of God. The Word became the final authority and a pattern for the new world. The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. The Kingdom became the unshakable Kingdom and the Lord Jesus the Unchanging Person; the absolute order and the absolute person to the Kingdom.
