Kingdom 103: Life Beyond the Door

Jesus is the door, but at no point is He the message. In fact I will state that He was the messenger for His Father God. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. There you are--if you really love the Lord Jesus, preach and teach His father's message. Many believers get so caught up and completely fixated on the messenger, Jesus, as Savior and when He spoke of being born again, that they forgot His message. Keep in mind, they accept the Lord Jesus but they camp out on the doorstep and never go any farther.
Please note, the Lord Jesus is the doorway to the Kingdom, but there is so much more! There are riches that await you inside. Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. "Life to the max" that is what our Kingdom inheritance is all about, and it starts with the Lord Jesus, who is the door. But it doesn't end at the door. Life is a journey and a process. Life in the Kingdom will require that you must move beyond your original experiences with the Lord, mature and grow as a true son or daughter of the Kingdom.
Claiming our inheritance is not about joining a particular church or denomination. Remember, the Kingdom is not a religion but a government. It has nothing to do with being religious. I realize in some of my articles I repeat the same things. That is because there are foundational Kingdom truths that you need to get down in your spirit so that you will be strong in challenging times. It has everything to do with understanding that we are citizens of a Kingdom, established and ruled by the Lord God, which will endure forever. As Kingdom citizens, we have a legal right to our government and its benefits. The reason so many people receive so little from God is because they don't recognize themselves as citizens of His Kingdom. They still think of themselves as a religious group called Christians. Christianity is a religion, not a government. Have you noticed, when they want to create a church organization they look to the world system for tax exemptions and tax breaks to help build their church? They are going to an earthly kingdom to help them build God's Kingdom here on earth. Why would God need the world's government to subsidize His Kingdom? We've got it backwards! In the Kingdom government, the Lord God--our one true Source--provides! He moves upon people's hearts to give without personal benefit, but in obedience to the Holy Spirit and to help spread His Kingdom throughout our world. This is why we do not seek government help or tax exemptions. We are representatives of a kingdom, the Kingdom of God. Our God supplies all our needs according to His riches. Our faith is in Him, not our earthly government and not in man. That is life beyond the door! Stop focusing on the door and enter into the Kingdom!
