Kingdom 103: Know Your Purpose While on This Earth
Our Lord and King made this statement while speaking to the religious leaders of His day: Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” They wanted to see a physical kingdom that would appear to them. Jesus made it very clear that we all came from His Father God. We are a tripod being. We are spirit, we have a soul--which is our five senses--and we live in a mortal body made of dirt. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them...And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
The Lord God created you for a purpose and your purpose should always line up with His Will for your life. The only way you will know this is to seek the Kingdom first. In other words, know your priorities. Everyone that the Lord created, He created with a purpose and gifts. It is up to you to seek it out. Every leader of the Lord God had a purpose and an assignment; which was in line with God's purpose. For example, Noah, who found favor in God's sight: But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
Notice, prior to that, the Lord God had come to a decision: Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” It was because of the behavior and heart condition of mankind. So God saw that Noah was right for His purpose (meaning that his heart was with God). ... Noah was a righteous man, and blameless in his generations: Noah walked with God. Note, "blameless among the people of his time". Keep in mind, God hadn't given His laws as he later established them in the years with the children of Israel. Noah realized that He didn't create himself. Remember, where there is no law, there is no violation of the law. So, if there is no violation because there is no law, then there isn't any sin against the law.
Before Adam was even created, the Lord had a purpose for him. Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. Now Adam had his assignment. It was to cultivate the garden and to maintain it. This was all before he became disobedient to his Source. Obeying the Lord's Word (His Constitution) is essential to discovering your purpose and receiving His gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. Please take note of His statement: "If anyone loves Me he will keep My Word". That is the key requisite (required as by circumstances; necessary for that purpose).
Always remember, your faith in the Lord Jesus is your greatest asset. Remember it was Abram's obedience and faith that got the Lord God's attention.
