Kingdom 103: In the Kingdom, They Are Filled with His Spirit
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” The Lord Jesus made it very plain that they should wait for the Governor (which is the Holy Spirit).
Note the following list from Proverbs. It is impossible for anyone to have or to be one of these things and be a Kingdom citizen:
These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren. Why? Because all citizens in the Kingdom are filled with the King's Holy Spirit. In the Kingdom of God there aren't any homosexuals. You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. Nor shall you mate with any animal, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before an animal to mate with it. It is perversion. Keep in mind, one cannot possess the Holy Spirit in their mortal body unless they obey and keep the Lord Jesus' laws and principles. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. Jesus spoke this to His disciples, but it applies to us as believers and representatives of His Kingdom. Those who are filled with the Spirit operate by the power of the Holy Spirit and there is no division in us, for we are one in Him. I and My Father are one.”
Remember the Jesus' prayer to His Father: I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. Religion, denominations and programs are out of the question in the Kingdom. In the Kingdom, His citizens' behavior and conduct are always consistent with His Word. Kingdom citizens always put the culture first because they realize there is only one true culture. You will never hear them speak for the African, Chinese, Spanish, Greek, Italian, etc culture unless they are comparing it to the Kingdom culture. They represent their Father's Kingdom, not the nation/culture they were born into.
Remember on the day the Governor (Holy Spirit) came to the earth at Jerusalem, there was no division. When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
It's not the crowd or the masses that obey the principles and laws of the King. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. God promised a government, not a membership and they are very different. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His Son (Jesus the Christ) carried the government of Heaven (the Kingdom) on His shoulders, not a religious organization called Christianity. There are no denominations in the Kingdom, no deacons, board members, or committee members; only citizens and ambassadors representing His culture in word and deed. They embrace His Constitution (Bible) and power. Ambassadors of the Kingdom, preach, teach and represent the same Kingdom culture. After spending time with you, people should be able to say "So this is what the Kingdom is like!"
