Kingdom 102: The Power of an Ambassador

Jesus was the most perfect ambassador that ever came to planet earth. While Jesus was here on the earth, He totally demonstrated the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven. Read this prayer to His Father: Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. He had all authority from heaven, His homeland. He obeyed what His Father had instructed Him to do. That alone made Him the perfect ambassador.
Ambassadors are diplomats who carry our diplomacy for the government they represent. As Christ's ambassadors, we represent the Kingdom government of God. Having said that, we all should be speaking the same message. We are diplomats of His Kingdom in this world. Jesus put it this way: “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Being an ambassador of the Kingdom is being a light to the world. Learning to see ourselves as ambassadors will change the way we think, speak and behave.
Please note, whenever two nations establish formal diplomatic relations with each other, they open embassies in each other's capital city. The land on which each embassy is located is regarded as the sovereign territory of that nation whose embassy is located there. That sovereignty is recognized and respected by the government of that host nation as well as all other nations. If your behavior is in line with the Kingdom standard laws and principles, your behavior as an ambassador of the Kingdom should always be in line with His culture.
Here is an example: The United States embassy is on Chinese soil, but it belongs to the United States, just like Chicago, Detroit and New York, even though it is located geographically on Chinese soil. If a Chinese citizen, or an American citizen, or any other nationality, is fleeing from local law enforcement and manages to get inside the US embassy, that individual is safe from capture, at least for the moment. That is how powerful an embassy is. Whatever area over which the authority of a government rests becomes that government's property. All authority, rights and powers of that nation represented by that government are in effect on that property. Keep this in mind, you are the Lord God's property of the Kingdom of God. Our home, office, church, and indeed, anywhere our influence extends, becomes an "embassy" of heaven.
‘The land shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine; for you are strangers and sojourners with Me. We occupy land in a "foreign" country, but the property belongs to the government of heaven.
John 17:1-5 Matthew 5:13-16 Leviticus 25:23
