Kingdom 102: The Coming of His Man
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. The fullness of time is "the perfect time" in history. In other words the time appointed by the Lord God...the Father, Creator and our Source--but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.--for His Son to be born, and later to surrender His life for the disobedience (sin) of all this world. The statement "born of a woman" speaks of Christ's humanity and perhaps alludes to His role as the ultimate "Seed" of the woman. Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,” who is Christ. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Centuries later, King Jesus would appear. "Born under the Law" means Christ was subject to the Israelites' laws. Read what King Jesus stated to the multitude while He was teaching them: Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. Do you see why it is so imperative to embrace the Kingdom of God and fill yourself with His Word? When we are full of God's Word, that is what will be flowing out of our mouths.
In order for the Lord to resolve the predicament, the Creator would visit planet earth in the person of His Son. As a descendant of the first man, Adam, He would open the way for man to become righteous, as only He could. This would be accomplished through the offering of His blood on the cross. By the way, He didn't have to do it, but He was obedient to the end. And we who claim to be His representative, should always obey the King's Constitution.
Jesus came to bring us back and synchronize our lives with the government of the Lord God, so that we can once again claim our citizen rights. Oh hail the King! Give Him All the Glory and Honor! It is through this manner that He sought to reconcile us to Himself. Read what ambassador Paul stated to the believers at Corinth, which also applies to us today: For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Note, the word righteous is a legal term, definitely not a religious term, and means "to position oneself rightly". Jesus was obedient enough to His Father to make us righteous again, to put us back in right relationship with our Creator (God) so that we are qualified to receive the promises of God, His Father. Understanding that is critical to developing solid Kingdom thinking. When we are in right relationship with God, He can extend His Kingdom--His rulership--into our lives and rule the earth through us. It is as we rule the planet earth in the power and presence of the Lord God that the Kingdom of Heaven or God impacts our planet through our physical lives. Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in God's Word. And, who is the Word? And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
