Kingdom 102: Mankind's Full Pardon

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst!” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His Spirit.
It is these three words that we as Kingdom citizens should always keep in our memory bank "It is finished". Those three words are the key to our rebirth, based on accepting Jesus as our Lord and King. It is through Jesus the Christ, that our disobedience (sins) are forgiven and we receive a full pardon from God our Source and Creator. Keep this in mind: A pardon is a powerful and potentially dangerous thing because it is irreversible. Once a king or ruler has pardoned a person, that person is forever free and exonerated of their crime or offense for which they were previously found guilty. Unlike a parole, which is a probationary state that still carries restrictions for the parolee; a pardon cleans the slate completely. More honor to the King, King Jesus that is! A pardon declares its recipient clear of their previous crimes. It does not state that they didn't commit the crime, but forgives the individual from further punishment for the crime. In essence, forgiveness. All praise to King Jesus!
Now, once a person is pardoned, the government returns their passport. From that moment forward, that person is free to travel, work, engage in business, buy and sell and enjoy all the rights and privileges of citizenship without limitations. By the way, many of you wonder why you aren't being blessed. Maybe because you are on parole; and that is on your doing. A pardon justifies and reestablishes a person's righteousness in the eyes of the law. That is what the Lord Jesus did for all of us when He stated "It is finished.". His death and shed blood bought our pardon and made us righteous in the eyes of His Father God once more. Our Kingdom citizenship and rights were restored, and we were positioned once again as recipients and heirs of all God's promises.
Make a note of this: Righteousness is made possible through Jesus the Christ's death and resurrection, but it is imparted to us through our faith in Him, just as it was for Abraham. After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!” And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”
And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.
Read what the author of Hebrews states: By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
When we believe, we become children of the most high God. As ambassador Paul wrote to the Galatian believers, For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
