Kingdom 102: Characteristic of Kingdom Culture

Keep in mind that the characteristics of a culture are determined by the land, values, traditions and language. Remember when the Lord separated the people at the tower of Babel, He did it through language, which is the foundation of a culture. Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” Notice, the Lord God did not separate the people according to their color, but He gave them different languages, which develop into cultures. Out of all the characteristics, language is the primary and the greatest manifestation of a nation's culture.
My question to you then is why is language so important to any nation? Your language is the key to your national identity. Language separates one people from another. That is one strong hold of language on its people. In the Kingdom of God, its citizens have their own language. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. Since I have received the gift of the Holy Spirit (the Governor), I pray very little in my English language. When you are praying in the Kingdom language, your spirit is speaking directly to the King. The devil and demons can't understand that language. Our language identifies what culture we are a part of; in this case, the Kingdom culture. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues. If you and I can not speak the same language, we can never have the same culture because we can't properly communicate through language. We must understand one another in order to be effective. A country really isn't a country in harmony until all the people speak in the same tongue and can communicate clearly. The ambassador Paul mad it very plain when he stated this to the believers in the city of Corinth:
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. In the Kingdom of God there is no division.
Language creates a national unity. When a nation doesn't have a common language, the unity of the people begins to break down. They must all be of the same mind and understanding. Please keep this in mind, when one speaks with the Kingdom language, they speak to the Lord and the enemy does not understand our prayers. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
As always, remember that your greatest asset is your faith in the Lord Jesus the Christ.
